The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. We didn’t eat the breakfast as we had to leave super early so I can’t comment on that. The only complaint would be the pool and hot tub were cloudy and needed to be cleaned. However, the front desk lady did tell me that they were completely full the night before. There was a teenage boys baseball team there enjoying the pool with us, so I figure that’s why it was kinda yucky. The beds were pretty comfy and all amenities were provided.

I’ve visited this newer location twice in the last 7 months. Free parking, smaller footprint with outdoor pool, fitness gym, and free breakfast. One elevator was out of order. Room was clean, ample storage, mini fridge and microwave. Both visits rooms located near the end of the hall near the stairs. Visits were quiet throughout my stays. Very convenient to shopping strip, Baybrook Mall, and restaurants. The shopping strip has lots of key stores-Ulta, Target, Bath and Body Works, Old Navy, to name a few. Both easily accessible and in walking distance, if necessary. Definitely will visit again.

Hot tub was broken. The printer associated with lobby PCs was not useable. Multiple shifts of staff aware of printer problem, but little faith in timely resolution. Two of three plug in fitness machines had broken plugs. Plug outlets (on floor) are adjacent to step off point of machines. This setup/design will likely result in future plug breakage, even if repaired.

Pool and hot tub were nice. Front desk gave us a room that was actively still being cleaned after checking in. Had to switch rooms. Then, staff was very hesitant to give us extra towels and asked why we needed them. (We are a family of 5- and there was only 2 full size towels in our room) At least we ended up getting towels. Overall, it was okay. Would be back if we had to, but wouldn’t go out of the way to go back.

Easy check in process. The breakfast was nice but not as nice as some of their other holiday inn express locations. The pool was not shaded but the tables had umbrellas. Close to the mall and some restaurants. Very easy to get to the Space Center from this hotel.

Great breakfast, pool area very nice, rooms large and well cared for. Stayed before and after cruise out of Port Canaveral. Early checkin after cruise return was appreciated. Easy off and on from I-45.

The hallways REEKED of marijauna smoke. It even smelled like smoke in our room. Not kosher, especially qwhen traveling with kids as we were. The carpets in the hallways were practically brown with dirt and need desperately to be cleaned. Combined it gave us a uneasy feeling overall.

Hotel is utilitarian at best. Lobby was dark and un-inviting. Staff looked frazzled and overworked. Elevators made some crazy popping noises, but seemed to function well enough. Carpet in the hallways was disgusting, I’ve never seen carpet that bad… anywhere. Room was adequate, didn’t want to dig too much b/c I didn’t want to know what I’d find. Thankfully we were just there one night.

My room was dirty and still had other peoples hair in it. The second night the room had bugs. One of the bugs was running on my arm while I was in bed. I went to the front desk and told them and all they said is they will do a deep clean the next morning. Which their “deep clean” was not good. Housekeeping staff always seems annoyed at the management which might be why they do such a bad job cleaning.

Staff was excellent. Our handicap room was plenty big for our granddaughters to spend the day with us and swim while mom & dad did last minute school meetings without interruption. Had the pool to ourselves Friday & Saturday mornings. Beds were comfy, room was cold & shower was hot. Have stayed many times and will stay again.

We rented a room for a girls night for myself and my 2 daughters. Our room was nice, we had a double bed room with a couch. My only complaint is the floor between the AC and the bed closest to the wall was soaking wet. When I told the staff at the front desk he said “oh that’s normal, older people like it warm and younger people like it cold so that part of the floors get wet”. Other than that our stay was nice, and I’d consider staying there again.

My review always hinges on the quality of the shower. Everything about the hotel and the service was great. However, when you turned on the shower, the diverter valve was faulty and a quarter to a half of the water continued to come out the bottom instead of out of the shower head. Consequently, the water pressure was not great. It was not helped either that probably half of the holes in the shower head itself were blocked. Other than that, the hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast food but at least it was included.

Bed was comfortable. Hotel needs updating. Bathroom had chunks out of wall, scuffed walls and tub definately needed updated. Common area walls a lot of scuffs and marks.

We are on the second floor right by the pool. It’s 10:30 at night. We are trying to to sleep and there are people down there drinking and being loud. We have called the desk already. Nothing happened.

It was not quiet at all. There was a huge gap on the door. It was missing the door gasket we could hear everything that was going on outside our room. Room #103 needs to be sound proofed a bit better.

We didn’t like the gentleman that checked us in. Around 10pm, someone started slamming doors and hitting the walls. Our service dog barked briefly when this happened. The night clerk came and knocked so hard on our door it startled me. He said service dogs do not bark. We explained what happened and that yes, when a service dog is not in their vest, they too might bark at a potential alert. By the way, it was very brief. He said he would let it slide but if it happened again, we would have to leave. He was very rude. I could go on and on about other things at this hotel, spotted and dirty carpet, sewage smell in bathroom (same guy told us what do we expect, the building is ten years old).

Despite the overview saying they have infant beds available; they do not. This resulted in us having to go buy an emergency playplen for our little one to sleep in. They don't clean unless you ask the front desk - which is OK. But then when we would ask, they still didn't come and clean. And when we mentioned this to the staff/front desk, their response was "Sorry, they dont speak english very well." That doesn't make sense to me because I shouldn't have to ask the hospitality staff to do anythging, that's the job of the front desk. We booked a "2-room suite" -- it isn't really "2 rooms", it's just a bigger suite. We were hoping it was a real 2 room so we could put our baby down in there to sleep (like she is used to) -- that is not the case. The "2-room" is just a bigger room.

There are many lodging options in the Houston area. Holiday Inn-HSC is near I-45 and provided easy access to every site we planned to visit, without stress of getting lost on confusing local roads; also, the hotel is recessed from I-45, which eliminates highway noise. The convenient access to I-45 allowed us to visit NASA, The Galleria, Botanical Gardens, The Aquarium, Baybrook Mall, and many other tourist destinations quickly and safely. Being a retired veteran, Holiday Inn's proximity to Navy Federal Credit Union and Costco made our stay more relaxed; we had peace of mind banking and shopping at familiar establishments. The amenities were stellar: We enjoyed our room's modern decor, housekeeping upon request (slept in without disturbances), cleanliness of common areas, and the variety of breakfast items. Holiday Inn helped make our first visit to Houston memorable.

Decent hotel , clean, breakfast was pretty meh, choices were fine but bland or unedible in taste, milk was spoiled the whole time we were there. No daily housekeeping unless asked. Staff did their jobs but other than the front desk dont expect more. Smiles were not a frequent occurance.

Morning breakfast was terrible. They didn’t refill the some foods and worst part was ready made pan cakes served which was hard to bite. I don’t suggest this hotel for family trips. Also I supposed to check in at 3pm and I have told to wait and allowed at 3:30 get I tot the room. Not good.
