The hostel was nice and they had a decent social atmosphere. My one complaint is that they refuse to let me charge my scooter to save on electricity.

You half to make your own bed then strip your own bed and take it down to the front desk then they decided we are not permitted to have personal blankets or pillows so they can come into the room and take them to the front desk you pay for laundry but you half to use there detergent not your own they decide when the over head lights half to be on and off personally I would rather them keep them off there bright and anoying expecialy when you want to sleep this place is highly micro manage we pay to be here yet it seams to be operated like a homeless shelter p.s. most of them still allow personal blankets and personal items never had a hostel ever tell me to make and strip my own bed and control the lights like they do

I love this hostel and stay there often when I make a quick visit to Philly. The energy in the common area is always very positive, with people hanging out talking, playing games together, and playing the piano. I also find the kitchen clean and well stocked with supplies for cooking.
