The room was lovely and tidy. Facilities within the room were fine but we could have benefited from more breakfast tea bags available in the room. Lovely hot water and comfortable bed. Pool was well maintained and a nice temperature. The breakfast was delicious! Lots of variation, all hot and very tasty.

Overall, this hotel provided good value for money. £15 for two breakfasts was an absolute bargain. The breakfast at this hotel was superb! We stayed on the 16 floor. The room was nice but showing its age. The bathroom was very good. We both slept well as it was really quiet. We made use of the pool and Sauna. Good but as you can imagine the pool isn't the biggest. Long but not really wide enough for the number of guests using it. I would suggest that go before it is fully refurbished and the prices shoot up!

I stayed at this hotel at Manchester for an appointment, but sadly, it did not meet the expectations of a luxury stay. The walls, especially in the bathroom, and even the TV tables were not clean, which is far below what I’d expect from a five-star standard. The staff were also not welcoming; I went down for breakfast just as it was ending, and even though food was still being packed away, no one offered me any alternative. The manager acknowledged me but made no effort to help. Overall, I left feeling very let down, as it didn’t come close to the standards I expected from a five-star hotel.”
