Our stay was great. Nice updated rooms that were clean and comfortable. Lobby was very busy, as we were there for a convention. Hot tub was great, pool was pretty but it could have been heated. Nice hotel and easy for convention center and arena

Great stay except, Hot tub/ spa time needs to be extended in the evening, currently closes at 10. Hundreds of families staying there for a volleyball Tournament at the convention center. The evening wave for games ends at 9, not enough time for half of the tournament players to use the spa. Which after 3 days of game play they need! Please extend the close time!!

Beautifully maintained luxury property with excellent service. Rooftop pool is amazing. Food options are outstanding. Very convenient right across from Crypto.com arena and Peacock Theater. Staff exceeds expectations and provides 5 star service!

I stayed with my wife and 5-year-old daughter. The stay was great. The rooms were nice, clean, and had a nice view of DTLA. The location is obviously great, being in LA Live. The only downside is when you have to pick up your car from the valet. The queue is so long they have a dispatch monitor on the so you can follow just how far you are in the queue, which can take 40 minutes.

Parking is a nightmare! It's bad enough that they charge ou $50 per day; what is intolerable is that we had to wait over 30 minutes in our car outside the hotel for a valet - and this was AT THE END OF 7 HOURS OF DRIVING TO SEE A LAKERS GAME, AND WE MISSED THE START OF THE GAME BECAUSE THE IDIOTS AT THE HOTEL CAN'T PARK CARS! Perhaps even worse than the ridiculously long wait is that they won't charge your car; I booked this hotel SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE I WAS TOLD THEY COULD CHARGE MY CAR. Long story short, it was a giant headache, and I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!

A lovely place to stay. The rooms are updated, in excellent repair, spacious and very clean. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was well appointed and large. The workout facility is large and very well equipped. Even better was the staff, who were very friendly, helpful and professional.

The room could have used a deep cleaning. The mirror in the bedroom above the desk was filthy. The bathroom conditioner, the seal on it was broken. No body wash in the shower. Hair in the tub. Sheets on one bed had a black stain on them. Generally a JW Marriott has bathrobes and slippers. I didn’t say anything because I don’t ever use them. We were barely in our room. Didn’t use the $20 a day resort food credit. The property is shared with the Ritz Carlton. Advertisements in the room (spa and restaurant fliers are all for the Ritz. Found that a bit odd. Parking was very easy in and out with awesome customer service.

I expect much more from a JW Marriot, what a disappointment. My bellhop was amazing. His name was Alberto and the people downstairs at the Vallet were good, but other than that I expect much more from a JW Marriot. The rooms were dirty and funky.

Room was clean, AC worked well. Cleaning stuff did a wonderful job each day. Onsite dining is a bit expensive, but was good. Lots of walkable dining options. Area around can be a bit busy do to the location in LA Live but we had a great stay!

Great location next to the crypto arena. Beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quiet. The mattress was too hard for me. I did not sleep too well. The Wi-Fi was included, but was difficult to sign on. Had to call for help. Confusing because I had to select the button for $9.95 to join when it was supposed to be free. But the desk person told me that’s what I had to do and it did work out. Just confusing requiring a phone call. I tried to apply my AAA discount at the desk, but was told I had to apply it when I made the reservation online which I did not know how to do. So that was disappointing. But the room was nicely furnished and very clean and quiet. And the hotel is very well located. Because of the mattress I would look at another hotel nearby next time. There is only one bar area, and it was packed because of an event. The restaurant had already closed at 10 o’clock as was the coffee place. So there was nowhere to sit and enjoy the rest of to evening after our event. Bummer.

Booked a very expensive suite, and received a low-floor room that was incredibly subpar. Bare minimum decor, low quality furniture, hard bedding, terrible pillows. The room was large, but looked barren and uninviting. Part of the reason was it was an ADA room, which I would not mind, if not for it was listed as a bookable option which I did not select. The property and location were fine, but you can get better value elsewhere.

The front desk, valet, bellmen, housekeeping, and restaurant workers were all amazing and so nice! The entire hotel was very clean and had a nice scent. It was very quiet in our room and the A/C worked great. Super short, safe walk to several tasty dining choices and a few were open late. The breakfast at the hotel was good and the pool was area was super well kept and clean. The hours for the pool were perfect. My only two complaints for our entire stay was the beds were not giving at all, they were very firm and the girl in the gift shop the first time I visited it was not friendly at all. It was obvious she would rather have been anywhere else (the lady that was working the next day was extremely nice). We really enjoyed our stay overall!

I was in Los Angeles for LA Comic-Con speaking on a panel for the 1st time. I arrived late on 12/2 and the hotel was overbooked. As an apology, the gentleman who helped me let me stay in the hospitality suite the duration of my stay ( 2 nights). This is the most awesome thing anyone has done for me on a trip. He didn’t have to do it but he recognized the mistake and went out of his way to make it right. This act of generosity meant so much to me. I have never received this level of excellent customer service. This made my trip that much more special. Both the gentleman and the woman at the check in desk were excellent in their customer service (I can’t remember their names). Both were super kind and awesome. Please give them raises! They totally deserve it.

The house keeping staff is extremely polite and welcoming. Front desk is as good as you get in the best hotels around the world. It is in the financial district but quite far from tourist attractions.

A great location if you are going to an event at Crypto Arena (formerly known as Staples Center) or the Peacock Theater. You will be able to walk from the lobby directly into the LA Live Center where in addition to Crypto and Peacock, there is Starbucks and restaurants.

Don’t order room service!! Terrible. It’s always a treat to get room service but it was not good. Nice staff. Repulsive, soggy French fries. $16 for room service cookies out of a bag.

We were in town for a Laker game and this property was perfect! It was literally across the street from the arena and around the block from the Grammy museum which was a bonus. The property was extremely clean and the staff was super helpful! We had the breakfast buffet a during our stay and it was phenomenal with tons of options like an omelette station and pancakes made to order. The overall experience was great and I’d definitely stay here again.

The property itself is fine. Had a beautiful room on the top floor, overlooking the city. Very quiet and romantic. Almost fell in the shower (wish it had some floor grip). If you want internet - that\'s extra. $60 for valet. Went down to the lobby for cocktails. 4 cocktails and 1 slice of cake cost me $140 (including tip). Being mindful, there\'s a "staff service charge" of $20. Just to walk from behind the bar to serve drinks... I\'ll stay here again, but I\'ll be more mindful next time.
