Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Tulsa South by IHG

They have no pool or hot tub working. It has been under construction for several months.

The pool and hot tub were closed down. The one amenity we chose this property for. The staff was friendly. We didn't eat breakfast as it was an extra charge. Overall, we rested well, it was quiet,and we would stay again.

All of the workers were helpful and very nice. The pool and guest laundry machines were down and we had super pleasant help with the sister hotel across the street and able to use their amenities. Hotel was clean, room was bigger in size than typical hotel room. Overall very pleasant and great location.

The pool was closed for construction… the pool and hot tub were the main reason I booked this location. Bed was okay. AC did work well.

I was upset that the pool wasn't opened thats why i picked to stay here and the restaurant and bar were closed thought that was weird as well but other than that everything was great

The hotel was clean and nice and the staff was very friendly. Downsides would be the pool had way to much cholorine in it causing my kids to have cholorine burns. There was also no breakfast after i had to pay additional money for it but the staff stated they would add credit back. The parking was horrible and there was hardly any parking, you had to arrive early to actually park in their actual parking lot. It was ok stay. Most likely wont stay here again though.

Hotel was excellent and loved it. Minor issue but a problem when you need to use it. The business center's printer did not have black ink. Front desk was notified upon our arrival and the next afternoon / evening it still had not been replaced. No one at the front desk seemed to know where to look for a replacement which is odd. They were able to print out the docs I needed so good overall.

Hot tub was out of order, pool was way over capacity due to a pool party, blaring music. I found one chair available to put our things on, and the another guest decides move it half way out the emergency door to prop it open....to let other people in with my things on it. When I tried to move it back inside, bc I don't want my things outside. She got an attitude, so I gathered my kids, and things and left, bc as a single mom....I didn't feel safe, especially with how many people they allowed in the party. It could be heard all the way in the lobby. Also it said free breakfast when booking, but they were charging like $10 for breakfast, so we went to Golden Corral down the street. I definitely wouldn't stay again, but if you want to party in the pool, and don't mind people being rude, and loud....hope you enjoy your stay! Also almost every ice machine was broken.

Ice make didn’t work

Check in was easy, all the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful, our room was clean and the breakfasts were tasty. My only complaints were it was a packed hotel for the weekend and only one elevator worked for 6 floors and the complimentary conditioner provided in our shower was completely empty. Minor inconveniences, otherwise a very good stay!

From first initial impressions it was amazing and beautiful. The hotel was very fancy and the rooms were also very nice. Had trouble getting the shower to work and ended up having to shower standing up with the faucet running. The bathtub wouldn’t drain either. That wasn’t nothing big so I blew it off. At 12:30 in the morning I looked over and a bed bug was crawling on my pillow. That did it for me. I understand things happen that can’t be helped but it was disappointing and disgusting. They were very nice and moved us to another room. The tv wouldn’t work in that room and never could get anyone to come fix it. The next morning we realized none of the outlets worked in the bathroom. I purchased 2 rooms and my brother and his family was in the first room we was in right next to us. That next morning my nephew woke up covered in bites. I felt like they should have given me some money back for all the trouble but they said because of going through hotels.com they couldn’t. Just be careful!!

Very nice and clean!

First room had heavy smokers as previous guest, whole hotel was out of toilet paper, all coke machines were broken open and product was stolen, dirty plunger in hallway, trash in hallway was overflowing for 2 days, sheets were not clean

Very clean and very friendly employees. It was a pleasant stay.

They had bed bugs and didn’t tell us the staff was rude when we told them about the issue you also have to pay for breakfast. We threw all of our stuff away, so we had to go buy more because we did not want to bring the bed bugs home. What was supposed to be a fun trip turned out to be a nightmare.

The room was perfect and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable! However, I found everything outside the hotel to be very dirty. Pool and hottub area was filthy!!! Dirty socks and towels, beer cans everywhere. Along with elevators smelling like smoke and just overall needing a good clean. Breakfast was cold. Staff was kind though

Blankets had stains. Bathroom had drippy faucet. Carpet by AC unit was wet when we checked in, and checked out. An old earring was embedded in carpet that my husband stepped on when we first arrived. Toilet ran randomly throughout the night, which was noisy. Breakfast was not included in price—advertising is misleading. Food was very picked over and staff did not restock. Waffle maker was not working. Food was cold.

From check-in with Kevin to checkout to breakfast, every went very well. The eggs cooked to choice is a very nice option. Accommodations were very nice - had suite. Only downtick was water pressure. This could have been better but not a deal breaker. Will add to list of places to stay when in area.

Very nice room. The shower was great. We could hear the traffic on the highway till late at night but otherwise was a great stay.

Beds are kind of hard but the rooms were very nice. Was thankful for the toiletries as forgot my body wash. Would stay again!

Took an overnight stay. Wanted a pool and hot tub and this had both! However, I think all of Tulsa had the same idea… pool was packed! Not re hotels fault - hotel was great! Clean, comfortable, easy to get to and park.

Nice 1 bedroom suites

Very impressed with the facility and service by front desk and kitchen staff, great value for a suite; very clean, well-designed comfortable room with nice furniture, TVs, decor, bathroom, etc.

This was a nightmare experience. We had this reservation for a while. The day of check-in we stopped in when we got to town before the concert around 1:30 pm to see if we could check in early. An early check in was not available(which was totally understandable) so we personally spoke to the front desk and notified them we would be a late check in, mostly likely after midnight. They wrote it down and then we went on our way. At midnight we leave the concert and I had three missed calls from the hotel. It was an hour and a half drive to hotel from concert so we called them on the way. They informed us Expedia sold rooms that weren’t available and we didn’t have a room for the night. We were six hours from home, it was almost 1 am at this point and had no room for the night. Could not find a room anywhere near available and we ended up just driving all through the night to get home. Very poor experience! My opinion is that most likely they dropped the ball and gave our room away when we didn’t check in by 10 pm , even though we notified them of a late check in. I have used Expedia and Holiday Inn and Suites for years now but I think I will find a better option. Horrible experience getting out of a concert and finding out at 1 am you don’t have a room for the night six hours away from home.

Came to check in at 10 and rooms not ready, many guests coming to desk for towels, toilet paper, and other essentials. Still currently waiting for room, along with maybe 5 other parties.

Place was clean and customer service was awesome! Breakfast was reasonable and the staff was fantastic. Overall a nice place to stay with plenty of things to do around the area. Highly recommend you check out Clark Crew BBQ. Great food! Back to the hotel I would highly recommend for anyone.

The stay was decent, customer service was not too friendly, coffee machine did not work in the room even after asking for a new one, i never got it!

They seemed to be seriously understaffed at the front desk for the occupancy rate.

Amazing staff! We arrived at 1am after a LONG drive and the front desk attendant was very friendly. The hot tub wasn’t working when we called a few hours out but they fixed it within hours. They also gave us a late check out. Room was huge and comfortable.

Front desk gal was rude. We were checking in (with a reservation) and she yells to her co-worker that was helping us, that there is no vacancies and she just sent him a text. She then looks at me and says we are all booked. No, I am sorry or apologies. The co-worker let her know we had already reserved a room. We didn’t feel very welcome at that point. Glad it was only one night.

They overbooked the hotel, did not get in contact with us and when we showed up, they told us they were sold out and there was nothing they could do. We had a confirmation for the room and they debited my card for the first night. They didn’t help to find another hotel, nothing. I ended up having to then pay double to find something. Terrible experience but even worse customer service. I’ll avoid Holiday Inns moving forward.

The property was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.

Was good only downfall don't like being approached right as I'm walking out of hotel loading our car by a homeless person asking for money.

Property was nice and in decent area. Also good access to highway, freeway and stores. Only thing I didn't like is breakfast was not included. But great stay.

The place was close to the hospital. My Grandson had surgery the following morning that we spent the night and this was his treat before surgery. He loved the pool. Will be back!!

Breakfast was not worth. The money

We were in town for 2 nights for a weekend wedding. Had no issues with the overnight stay itself. The 6th floor suite and hallway was spotlessly clean. However, thr facility needs attention to the smaller details. The mini-fridge didn’t work as intended due to ice build up on coils. Would work great if it was just defrosted. The ice machine on 5th and 6th floor was broken. Loose cracked tiles in the elevators and paper plates for breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay and we opted out the second day due to the first day’s experience. Had to ask for gravy, biscuits, eggs, and bacon for be brought out because the warming containers were empty around 0815. This experience with Holiday Inn will likely prevent me from booking with the same chain again.

My stay at this property was fine. Breakfast was optional - for an additional $9.95 - but it didn't look good, so I went to a diner away from the property.

Was disappointed that the bar was being remodeled. Was not impressed when we're charged for breakfast. All the hotels I visit have free breakfast whether continental or full.
