A lovely B and B that catered for our needs. Parking on the drive which was a welcome bonus. A little dissapointed with the lack of hot water from the shower and while the cooked breakfast was brilliant it was spoilt with the burnt toast.

A very friendly welcome as always. Room was very clean, facilities were excellent, bed was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning starts the day in the proper way. My favourite place to stay when visiting Plymouth and surrounding area.

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Plenty of room to park the car. The room was spacious and clean with complimentary biscuits tea and coffee. Amazing selection for breakfast, plenty of choice. We choose the night before and was ready when we sat down. Friendly hosts who have a vast knowledge of Plymouth and which was very helpful. The only thing that let our stay down was the broken bed which they were apologetic and did come and made a temporary fix for the night.

The staff were lovely and very helpful! The property was clean and quiet in the evening. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning and would definitely recommend staying. We came back from a concert and it was only a 5 minute Uber from the centre/ pavilion.

Visited Llymouth to see the fireworks. Stayed for 2 nights. Room was small, so very limited space for cases/luggage. Overall the place was clean, but a bit dated in places. Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Easy walk to town centre in 20 mins, and 30 mins direct to Plymouth Hoe.

The room was compact because it had a double and single bed as there were three of us. It was clean with all the essentials, comfy beds and fluffy towels in a good location to Argyle football ground. Good breakfast.

We went to Plymouth for football and arrived at Alma Lodge at 9pm and was met by the owner with a smile and couldnt do enough for us after our long journey. We fillled out our pre order Breakfast form,had a good nights sleep,went down to breakfast and was met by the owners daughter who looked after us for breakfast,which was very good ingredients and she also pointed us in the right direction for our walk to Plymouth Hoe which was really lovely. Our Sunday breakfast was as good as Saturday with extra drinks and Toast on offer. if we visit Plymouth again we wouldnt hesitate to book our stay at Alma Lodge.

Lovely clean, nicely decorated. Lovely breakfast cooked to perfection. Very friendly and was made to feel very welcome. Advice was given to visit a local place, which is a nice touch. Will definitely go back if in the area again & need a place to stay.

The staff were lovely and very helpful! The property was clean and quiet in the evening. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning and would definitely recommend staying. We came back from a concert and it was only a 5 minute Uber from the centre/ pavilion.

We had a great welcome, all our needs we're catered for. The staff and owner were kind, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely nights sleep and delicious breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Plenty of room to park the car. The room was spacious and clean with complimentary biscuits tea and coffee. Amazing selection for breakfast, plenty of choice. We choose the night before and was ready when we sat down. Friendly hosts who have a vast knowledge of Plymouth and which was very helpful. The only thing that let our stay down was the broken bed which they were apologetic and did come and made a temporary fix for the night.

I have stayed multiple times at this B&B. The staff are VERY accommodating, the rooms are clean and tidy. The facilities in the room are good, nice showers and the breakfasts are really nice. The rooms are more homely than modern but it fits well with the style. This is my go by a place in Plymouth
