Stayed 1 night

Warmly greeted by Kimberley as usual. Great to check in early and leave the car in the car park, Charge to park of £10 I remember free car parking before they put electric charging points in which was one of the reasons for staying, I’m guessing they are wanting to fall in line with all the other hoteliers in Harrogate. Stayed here many times and had a different room each time. The rooms seem to vary quite a lot. This time the room was small, no full length mirror, decor a little dull and uninviting, one pack of biscuits for 2 people and very hard brick like pillows! Not one of the nicest of rooms we’ve stayed in. The bathroom was tiny, though with a very nice shower, pressure of water great and toiletries provided. Love that they provide locally sourced toiletries too. The guest house is well situated and only a short walk to the centre of Harrogate and Weatherspoons for a breakfast! This is always my first choice when we visit Harrogate as the people are so lovely and the location is perfect. I guess it’s the luck of the draw as to which room you get!

Stayed 1 night

Lovely room, tea and coffee facilities and even a small fridge. Bathroom was clean. A door to outside was in the bathroom which was odd. WiFi available. Super central. Small car park at the rear and disc zone parking one hour to unload baggage. There was however a problem with the tap in my room that was making a very loud noise intermittently all night. There was a phone number to call which said it was manned 7am till 10pm. Upon leaving I was told they would have offered me to change rooms but I kept believing the noise would stop eventually. Neighbouring room had their tv on loud from about 630am so walls might be a bit thin.

Great location walking distance from the centre. The owner very kindly moved us to the room with a large bath when I called to say my wife had hurt her leg and needed to soak it. The full English breakfast was top drawer. Would certainly stay here again
