The hotel is old but clean and very convenient to all the central areas of interest. The staff was great especially Angela! She was the most helpful and friendly person I met this vacation. Always a smile and volunteered to carry our luggage (in fact insisted) up the 70 steps to the room. She helped park our rental car in the courtyard and answered all our questions. I can not remember meeting a hotel staff member this friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and served up on a rooftop terrace. The room was simple ( we did only book a basic room) but the shower stall was very small. You could not bend over to pick something up! They had daily cleaning and 24 hour reception which was nice. This place is not for someone who doesn’t like going up and down steps as there are a lot. The tv had mainly shopping network stations and nothing in English and I was not able to hook up my Roku that I brought from home. If it wasn’t for Angela I would rate it much lower.

Checked in to hotel which was kinda hard to find, since its entrance was down a side street. Have to find the hotels name on the buzz in and the let you through the big wooden doors. Nice inside the courtyard you have to follow the signs to get to the front desk up three flights of stair. (No lift available) checking in was easy and the room was very nice with really cool architecture on the ceiling! Breakfast was great and free so that was a plus. Bad part no late check out past 11am. So up and out. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

From we arrived to we left, we experienced nothing but smiles and helpfulness. Yes, you need to walk up a few flight of stairs, but after all the pasta we have been eating, that is no problem. From the beautifully decorated big room to the wonderful rooftop terrasse where we ate our breakfast, the Biscary hotel was an amazing experience - also located right in the middle of Catania just a few steps away from incredible restaurants. Highly recommended for a more laid back and personal Italien living experience.

Os funcionários do hotel se esforçaram muito para nos agradar. O local onde nos hospedamos faz parte do centro histórico. Muito bem localizado, fora da ZTL, próximo das principais atrações, comércio e restaurantes. O hotel fica de esquina e ocupa um dos andares de um prédio histórico. Portanto há que se ter em mente que é uma construção antiga, sem elevador. Os proprietários modernizaram os quartos dotando-os de chuveiro com boa pressão de água quente. Toalhas e roupas de cama limpas. Café da manhã simples porém atende. O prédio possui vaga para uns 3 carros e em frente ao hotel, na rua principal, tem um ponto de ônibus que o Alibus (ônibus do aeroporto) pode te deixar, caso você utilize esse meio de transporte. No geral gostamos de hotel.

No worries re cleanliness, or friendliness of staff. Julia and Oscar particularly worthy of mention. Breakfast is truly amazing. Variety and quality superb. It’s not easy to access (not well shown once you get there), and the stairs are a real killer. Our room was ok but very unpreposessing. Short walk to Via Etnaea and several reswtaurants. Also very cdonvenient for the airport bus stop (60 paces!)

very friendly and helpful staff. Big room. Uncomfortable bed. Fairly easy to find. 10 minute walk from the station.Airport bus picks up across the road. Close to shops, eateries and attractions. 68 stairs from the street to reception and no lifts. Entrance is behind a locked (after hours) external street door and we never found out how to enter the hotel out of hours, we simply didnt go out at night. Staff had limited English

The hotel is located near the downtown. The Room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of different meals. The reception is 24 hours available. Definitely, a good place to stay in Catania.

The hotel is in a great location just down the street from the main square. It is in an older building - the pictures on the site accurately depict what it looks like. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is lovely, and the breakfast is a nice perk. The front desk is open 24/7 which makes coming and going super easy. Very close to all the main sights in Catania.

Hôtel très bien situé et très bon accueil, magnifique petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Mais la chambre donnait sur une rue très bruyante, difficile de dormir sans bouchons d’oreilles. Et la lumière est restée allumée toute la nuit dans le couloir devant la chambre ce qui était gênant pour dormir vu que la porte n’était pas jointive.
Hôtel très bien situé et très bon accueil, magnifique petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Mais la chambre donnait sur une rue très bruyante, difficile de dormir sans bouchons d’oreilles. Et la lumière est restée allumée toute la nuit dans le couloir devant la chambre ce qui était gênant pour dormir vu que la porte n’était pas jointive.

The staff are warm and friendly. Easily walkable to major sights. Breakfast was fresh and the service was excellent. Arranged a shuttle service for us to the airport at a reasonable charge. Our room was very large for the three of us with vaulted ceilings. A/c worked very well and shower was adequate Only issue was street noise late at night from bars nearby. Would return and recommend to others.

The beds were really old, like you laid in a hole. The warm water came after at least 5 minutes in the shower. The breakfast was really nice and the service during check-in was perfect.

Very basic high ceiling huge room with three beds and the bathroom was largest well. Close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Front desk clerk was very helpful impact our bags and new about the area

The room was simple ( we did only book a basic room) but the shower stall was very small. You could not bend over to pick something up! They had daily cleaning and 24 hour reception which was nice. This place is not for someone who doesn’t like going up and down steps as there are a lot. The tv had mainly shopping network stations and nothing in English and I was not able to hook up my Roku that I brought from home. If it wasn’t for Angela I would rate it much lower.

From we arrived to we left, we experienced nothing but smiles and helpfulness. Yes, you need to walk up a few flight of stairs, but after all the pasta we have been eating, that is no problem. From the beautifully decorated big room to the wonderful rooftop terrasse where we ate our breakfast, the Biscary hotel was an amazing experience - also located right in the middle of Catania just a few steps away from incredible restaurants. Highly recommended for a more laid back and personal Italien living experience.

The staff is lovely, and the breakfast is a nice perk. The front desk is open 24/7 which makes coming and going super easy. Very close to all the main sights in Catania.

Hôtel très bien situé et très bon accueil, magnifique petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Mais la chambre donnait sur une rue très bruyante, difficile de dormir sans bouchons d’oreilles. Et la lumière est restée allumée toute la nuit dans le couloir devant la chambre ce qui était gênant pour dormir vu que la porte n’était pas jointive.

The hotel is old but clean and very convenient to all the central areas of interest. The staff was great especially Angela! She was the most helpful and friendly person I met this vacation. Always a smile and volunteered to carry our luggage (in fact insisted) up the 70 steps to the room. She helped park our rental car in the courtyard and answered all our questions. No worries re cleanliness, or friendliness of staff. Julia and Oscar particularly worthy of mention. Breakfast is truly amazing. Variety and quality superb. It’s not easy to access (not well shown once you get there), and the stairs are a real killer. Our room was ok but very unpreposessing. Short walk to Via Etnaea and several reswtaurants. Also very cdonvenient for the airport bus stop (60 paces!)

We had an excellent two night stay at the Hotel Biscari! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rates were reasonable and affordable. Our room was large, cleaned daily, and included a private bathroom. Breakfast was included with our stay with a traditional Italian spread offered and, best of all, was held on a rooftop terrace with nice views for a relaxing start to the day.
