There is no parking everyone parks on the street and that was not really impressive we had to walk several blocks with luggage. It is above a tavern so it is very loud and the smell of food was constant. The room was nice though.

One night arriving on a Sunday about 2:00 pm. Parking was an issue, since parking was so far away we had to just unpack in a public parking lot and take one set of clothes in our carry on. The bar downstairs gets a little rowdy and our rooms were directly above it, but all in all it was a great stay

Great location, very friendly staff. Made a dinner reservation, food was great and it was nice walking down the hall to our room at the end of the night. Extremely hard to find parking but we just took it as part of the experience. Highly recommend.

Great pub, excellent location. The room we had was very small.it was too small for 2 people.it really was a squeeze with our suitcases. We had room 7 it was very hot, the out side temperature wasnt hot, about 17, but the room was very hot.,too hot At the end of the stay they said they had a fan in the office we could have used .. but it should have been in the room. The pub food was great and the bar was excellent

We were there for three nights. Room and breakfast were good. Entrance is a pub and very busy evenings with pub quizzes presumably for locals. We booked an evening meal but our table had been given to locals who didn’t leave on time. We ended up being squeezed into a corner. Not good! Staff were friendly and location central but difficult for parking. More pub than hotel.

We were extremely delighted and happy with our twin room at the Fisherman's Tavern Hotel in Broughty Ferry recently. The room was exceptionally clean, modern and beds were comfortable. The customer service was exceptional from all the staff who gave us a warm welcome from the day of arrival until the morning we left. Despite not requesting any room service over the two day trip, the housekeeper asked us politely if we needed anything for our room so we asked for more towels, toilet rolls, teabags, milk, sugar and bin liner bags which he gave us immediately. The dining room staff went out of their way to reserve us a table for dinner after we arrived at 5 pm even though we never booked it in advance on one of the busiest nights (Saturday). Usually you have to book a table at least 2 hours before the planned meal. We really enjoyed the food and great friendly service. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again for our next visit to the area.

Stayed one night and absolutely loved the place. Our room was beautiful with a huge very clean bed and shower room. It was also lovely and bright in the room with beautiful decor. Dined in the restaurant in the evening and also at breakfast time and the food was amazing both times. Tracy made us feel very welcome and we can’t wait to return

This is a really lovely hotel to stay in. Welcoming knowledgable staff, excellent pub food, tasty Scottish breakfasts. It is a bit of a tardis - my bedroom was spacious, tastefully decorated and with a pleasant en suite bathroom. Not what one might imagine from looking at the Fishermans from the street. All in all, top notch and great value for money

This is a good hotel for the price. The staff was friendly. The rooms reminded me of a dorm room in uni. But everything was clean and comfortable. Having the restaurant right below was a bonus as we were able to get food/drink almost on demand. It’s busy though so make a reservation for your dinner. Parking is very challenging — you literally drive around until you find something and then hope it’s close enough to the hotel. Everyone was friendly and, for the price, I’d definitely stay here again.

What an exceptional find! We loved this gorgeous little pub and accommodation. Great room and comfy bed, easy parking on street. Great location. Best thing of all were the staff at the pub. They couldn’t be more helpful and looked after us like royalty. The lady who served us during dinner and then again at breakfast is absolutely amazing - such a hard worker and so friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

Had a really good last minute stay. Room was really good. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast as the quality of some of the ingredients were not to my liking and had some ingredients missing. For my taste I felt the sausage and bacon were undercooked. Would definitely stay again but would go elsewhere for the breakfast.

Fisherman’s is a stones throw to the Tay. So you’re right on the water. It’s a cozy, cute hotel with good food and drinks just downstairs. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean and plenty of hot water. You won’t regret staying!

Nice ambiance at the Pub. Good tasty food. Superbe room. Little remark concerning the breakfast in the morning, we were apparently disturbing the person in charge of too many tasks (rooms, breakfast, check out, ...)

Great location, very friendly staff. Made a dinner reservation, food was great and it was nice walking down the hall to our room at the end of the night. Extremely hard to find parking but we just took it as part of the experience. Highly recommend.

Always an enjoyable, and comfortable, stay at the Fish ..a good selection of real ales always available 🍻 Evening meal choices are good and the Cullen Skink is exceptional 👍 An early breakfast is always a treat with exceptional service from whoever is on duty in the kitchen…top class!👌

Staff lovely, room clean and comfortable, we had dinner at night good choice and lovely,breakfast too, meals were not included in cost of stay but it gave you the choice to eat in or out, definitely would come back

I had a wonderful seafood risotto. I have never had so much seafood included in such a dish. My husband had macaroni cheese with haggis topping which he thoroughly enjoyed. The panaccota was delightful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The place has a lovely friendly atmosphere. I would certainly recommend it.

Had a really good last minute stay. Room was really good. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast as the quality of some of the ingredients were not to my liking and had some ingredients missing. For my taste I felt the sausage and bacon were undercooked. Would definitely stay again but would go elsewhere for the breakfast.
