Generally we liked this facility. The staff was great, and the bed was super comfortable, and the place was very clean. We felt the amenities were a little lacking. We were able to get breakfast at a small restaurant close by which was very good. There was not much else in walking distance. Our boys were disappointed that the pool was not open on a fairly warm day, and the little shopping space was fairly sparse and expensive.

Doesn’t have enough parking and the extra parking they offer is basically a dark alley. They also charge for $10 a day for parking. They need to add the $10 parking fee to the description because I chose this hotel thinking there was no parking fees.

room was nice, however the bed was up against the wall on one side. it was very hard to get in and out of bed. parking was inadequate and was $11 per day. had to park next door in adjacent lot, almost had to park on street. no breakfast.

Great and safe location downtown, close to restaurants, attractions etc, rooms are clean and large, was great for our family of 4. The stovetop wasnt functioning due to a missing part but the front desk did their part to try a temp fix! Would recommend for the great price, nice pool and easy parking.

Desk staff friendly however, staffing not good based on number of reservations. We arrived at 5:19 for a 4:00 checking. Our room was not ready. There were no luggage cart for cooler,luggage,dog bed,back packs,etc. we waited outside(our choice with dog) for about 30 minutes, awaiting a call for room ready. I went inside and asked and was told yes, the room was ready. The worst part was finding a very large hair ball in the shower stall. It was not ours! My hair is pure white and hubby gray. This was a pretty dark brown and long. I would say shower not cleaned. Lots of excuses offered in am but not interested but sympathetic. Will not stay again nor persue an IHG “rewards” if this is the quality. FYI, the next night we stayed at a residence inn by Marriott. Much cleaner,newer, and gave us a pet discount of 50% because only staying one night. Wake up Candlewood, competitors kicking butte.

Check-in was friendly and quick. The room felt old and was not clean. The TV didn’t work initially but I then figured out that the cable box wasn’t plugged in. Then the remote didn’t work. Ice machine in the in room refrigerator didn’t work. Hairs in the tub and around the base of the toilet. Needless to say, I will continue my search for the right hotel in Mobile.

Smelled nothing but dog the entire visit. I knew this was a pet friendly property which I did not mind. The odor was throughout the facility. It appeared clean but the smell was too much for me.

Our family recently stayed here and was extremely disappointed with the state of our room. The level of cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. Upon entering, I noticed the carpet was stained and the floors were very sticky and there was dust on the furniture and surfaces. Additionally, the bed linens had pubic hair upon close inspection! My husband went downstairs to bring these issues to management’s attention. The best we would do was to get another set of linens to change out the dirty ones. Overall, the lack of cleanliness significantly impacted my experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our room had small kitchenette with sufficient items and good size fridge which would be great if you planned to stay several days. The room was very clean. We were pleased with the comfortable beds, pillows and nice linens. Considering the rate they could offer free continental breakfast. It is an older hotel but I would stay again.

Overall the property location is amazing, there are plenty of dinning choices and lots to do within walking distance. The hotel has a warm and enjoyable entrance with the friendly ladies and gentleman up front and the holiday decor is so very pretty. Also there is free laundry which is always a plus, most hotels you have to pay for that. The only complaint that I have is the cleaning service. You have to ask at times to have your room clean and if you do just be prepared to for the head of cleaning to advise you with attitude that its the owners decision to not clean rooms one weekends and only will change your sheets on Wednesdays. Also the rooms have kitchen in them and they dont clean that either. I think the hotel is awesome but they just need to revamp whoever runs the housekeepers because they really dont do a good job. And when you ask for something you get a hard time from the head of the housekeepers. defiantly will not stay here again. and thats only because of the housekeepers.

Elevator issues...Front desk attendants were useless clock riders... i didn't know what to tell you one said ...Had to bring a handicapped family member down the stairs in a wheelchair ..PITIFUL...Useless#2 was more interested in the cell phone than helping solve an issue ...only looked up to roll eyes.. Everything was great! Clean and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was spacious. Staff was very friendly. No breakfast or daily cleaning but we are fine with that. They have a self-check out snack area that is convenient. Can sodas are $1 which is so good considering they are $3 elsewhere and free coffee all day -nice perks.
