Stayed 1 night

I had to wait outside of the office and call a phone number posted on the door to check in with my reservation. Fine. Cut costs in the office to offer cheap rooms. The problem was the room. The cute ship lap on the walls has huge gaps in it, so we heard the room above and over one from us until about 1:30 am. The floor had been cleaned, but had so much cleaner residue on it that your shoes stuck to it and made prints when you walked. The bathroom was disgusting. It looked as it poop had been smeared on the wall next to the toilet. Hairs everywhere…sink, toilet, shower. The diy mosaic shower was so gross I didn’t even shower with shoes. I get that it’s not the Hilton, we just wanted a cheap hotel for a quick stay over before vacation. WHY CANT THEY JUST BE CLEAN?! Cheap hotels mean no coffee, fridge, or microwave in the room. Maybe less service, amenities, etc. But they should still be clean.

We got there early after driving 16 hours and they were able to accommodate an early check in. The front desk man was very kind and funny. He had recommendations for things to do and see while we were in town. He also was able to get a microwave to our room. Would stay here again.

We arrived late and appreciated that someone was able to check us in. This was our second time staying here, and would stay here CC again. Cute and retro motel with no frills but very clean, comfortable bed, and good shower. Well-situated to walk to shopping and restaurants downtown. Could be even better with an on-site manager and amenities like snacks and beverages for purchase.

Parking has small stalls be careful , my room Didn’t have towels and the lobby only has styrofoam so bring a microwaveable container for food and drinks. Lobby has operating hours fair warning. No coffee or hot water was ever available the 4 days I was there. How ever, it was cheap and a good location. I bought my own pillows since theirs were too bunchy/big. Used a candle. Brought my own towels and with my Walmart bill, it was still cheaper. I’ll stay again.
