Clean room. Staff helpful especially concierge on duty at check in. Needed to climb a flight of stairs to then access the elevator - difficult with heavy suitcases. Why say there is an elevator when you still have to climb stairs??? Air conditioner extremely loud. Bathroom door did not close properly. Soundproofing very poor - could hear the neighbours on both sides and windows did not keep out loud noises from outside. Beds poor and pillows flat.

The rooftop patio was a lovely feature, room was clean, breakfast was good, excellent location. A little quirky, office is on 4th floor, but our room was on the 1st floor. Ever time you left the hotel, you had to leave the room key. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

一年ぶりに宿泊しました。前回泊まった部屋を気に入っているので、同じ部屋をリクエストしたところ快く受けてくださいました。ありがとうございました。 ただ今回は、何度も何度もボタンを押しているのにトイレの水がほとんど流れなくて困りました。昨年はそんなことなかったんですけれどね…。 私のように、SMN駅から離れていても大丈夫で景観重視という方におすすめのホテルです。広くて見晴らしの良い共用テラスがあるホテルは、フィレンツェでも数少ないと思います。

Äldre slitet men rent. Rummet helt ok för att sova och övrig tid utforska staden. Nackdel var att receptionen ligger på 4 våningen och boendet på nedervåningarna. Finns en liten äldre hiss som gick väldigt sakta. Plus med uteplats på 4 vån där frukost serveras. Man kan även gå upp på taket av fastigheten och beundra utsikten. Själv köpte vi vin och pizza som vi åt där. Enkla stolar och bord fanns, samt även solsängar.

A very slow creaky lift to the top floor to check in then down to 1st floor room. We had to return the key every time we went out and sometimes the lift didn't arrive. Climbing the stairs in extreme heat wasn't good. Staff really friendly and helpful a good breakfast but really do you call that a shower in the room. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable and the blocked sink was mended straight away. After all thie the location was very good for all the main attractions

The hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building. There're areas in the room show mold and stains. The bathroom has no separate area for shower so it's a bit inconvenient to keep things dry clothes. Staff are sincere and diligent though.

We woke up at the middle of the night, with ticks all over us, bed and walls. We killed like 6 and they were continuing coming. We asked front desk to swap the room, but the solution they gave us was a Bug killer Spray.

Ich habe mich als Gast gesehen und willkommen gefühlt. Ich konnte schon etwas früher einchecken und wurde persönlich mit Namen begrüßt. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig mit kleinem Badezimmer. Genossen habe ich den kleinen Balkon. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. Täglich frische Handtücher, alle 2 Tage frische Bettwäsche. Es gibt einen praktischen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Das Hotel ist in der 4. Etage - mit Fahrstuhl, wenn er gebraucht werden sollte. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Der Frühstücksraum mit Dachterrasse hat eine schöne Ausicht (Obacht auf Tauben und Raben, die draußen das unbeobachtete Essen stibitzen☝). Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend (sehr leckere frische Croissants/Plunderteilchen). Man hat ein sehr angenehmes Vintage-Gefühl im Hotel. Die Lage ist gut und zentral. Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis. Ich würde sofort wieder hier buchen. Es ist etwas hellhörig - hängt natürlich von den anderen Gästen ab.

it's not fancy, but it's quirky and nice. The rooms are spread out throughout a building, with the main check-in on the top floor. It's older, but well-maintained and very clean. It includes a nice continental breakfast and has a great rooftop terrace. The staff was also all very nice and friendly. The area is great-close to all the major site and lots of food options.

Location was close to many attractions. Grocery store located accross street to get snacks and drinks. Room was spacious with high ceilings. Bathroom was on the smaller side. Breakfast was average. This is a great property if you are okay with an amazing location, barely away from the hustle, but close enough to walk to everything. It's basic with the smallest bathroom I've ever experienced. If I were larger than 5'10", not sure it would've worked. The shower was inches away from the toilet (!). But again, great location. Cool balcony and solarium. Surprisingly good breakfast And really good service. If you're wanting an amazing location and okay without a large fancy room, I can't recommend this enough

Room 18. Do not stay in this room. Shower is between the toilet and sink about the size of a small broom closet. Everything is wet and flooded when you use the shower head. It’s gross. Daily breakfast is good enough. Loud outside noise all night with early AM truck deliveries. Don’t be a light sleeper and stay here.

Room reserved on Expedia was not available on the 1st of 3 nights. We had a room with one bed instead of two and the shower was in between the toilet and the sink so water was everywhere. The door frame was rotten. The next two days, we had the reserved room with a closed shower. The difference in the price for the room of the first night was never reimbursed. Other than that, the staff was polite and it is walking distance of all the sites. Breakfast was very good.

Vi hade en underbar vistelse på Hotel Bodoni. Frukosten var väldigt bra för att kallas "kontinental". Bra service och läget är utmärkt. De problem som fanns var att hissen upp är väldigt långsam och att det efter att man kommit till receptionen har trappor där man får bära sina väskor. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

What a wonderful experience. Location, amenities are a plus... The breakfast was the best of our stay... is an expanded very Mediterranean/European style and was a great start for the day... The maximum was the ambiance and hospitality at breakfast to start the day with the wonderful positive attitude, carisma and good heart of "Sandro" at breakfast with his upbeat kindness and attention to details to add his own personal version of sunlight to the day... Disappointing Stay – Outdated, Uncomfortable, and Poor Service Hotel Bodoni is well-located within walking distance of Florence’s main sights, but that’s about the only highlight. Reaching the fourth-floor hotel is a hassle due to a tiny, slow elevator that barely fits two people with luggage. Inside, we encountered a pest issue—mosquitoes and flies were present in the room and hallways, with bottles of bug spray left out, raising concerns about cleanliness. Hotel Bodoni is a very quaint, charming, boutique hotel with a historical feel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. More than worth the value as long as you’re okay with a couple compromises. The hotel is on the 4th floor, with only a small and very slow freight elevator to get up. Or the stairs. Took the stairs more than we waited for the elevator lol. The A/C works, but is on the weak side. And the shower, toilet and sink in our room was an all in one situation. So no separator from the shower, no shower door. Basically you had to wait for the bathroom to dry up after using the shower in order to continue using the bathroom. Otherwise worth the value! Would still come back to Hotel Bodoni.

The hotel is in a great neighborhood with grocery and pizza place across the street. 5 min walk to the Duomo square and everything else is very close. With the reasonable price this would rate as a 10/10 for us.

Average, fine for a night. Access is difficult, location is good, but the street it is in is not particularly nice. Probably wouldn’t stay again and would have preferred to not have been there travelling alone!

Perfect location and great hotel I stayed for seven nights at Hotel Bodoni (Florence) in February 2025. Perfect location, close to everything. The Central train station and the old town were 10-20 minutes to walk. They offer a good continental breakfast! Staffs were very helpful and accommodating.

it's not fancy, but it's quirky and nice. The rooms are spread out throughout a building, with the main check-in on the top floor. It's older, but well-maintained and very clean. It includes a nice continental breakfast and has a great rooftop terrace. The staff was also all very nice and friendly. The area is great-close to all the major site and lots of food options.

De problem som fanns var att hissen upp är väldigt långsam och att det efter att man kommit till receptionen har trappor där man får bära sina väskor. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Very well located and an excellent view from the rooftop of the city. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only downside was that breakfast was quite chaotic not enough seating for number of guests. Also there was nothing left by the time we arrived to eat.

The location of the hotel was great. However, the shower was much smaller than anticipated. Additionally, the room window was left open leading to many mosquitoes. Finally, although breakfast was supposed to end at 10, it was mostly cleaned up with little food left by 9:30. Despite these drawbacks, the location and walkability as well as near by dining options make this a desirable accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Boccaccio in Florence. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was excellent for exploring the city, and overall we were very happy with our experience. The only challenge was arriving by car. The hotel does not have on-site parking, and there is not really a designated area to temporarily stop and unload luggage. As a result, we had to park first and then walk our luggage through the streets of Florence to reach the hotel, which was not ideal after a long drive.
