Seems like they were short staffed but front desk person was nice and helpful. Long line to check in. Lobby and rooms smelled 0f smoke but was clean. No elevator. Thank God our room was on the 1st floor.

After you haul your luggage up the stairs since they have no elevator, you are greeted with a curious but unpleasant smell. Arrive to your room to find that the bathroom door won't close, the towels are hairy and have skid marks but so does the bed spread. I managed to find one pillow that didn't have hair on it. Shower head is broken, alarm clock is broken, smoke detector was missing, no hot breakfast, only ice machine in the hotel was also broken. Better off camping in the parking lot.

I enjoyed my stay. I was able to receive a smoking room. Upon my arrival, I was told that I would have to climb up one flight of stairs to my room, since the second floor doesn’t have a elevator. Not a good thing, when you have multiple luggage. The room was filled with cigarette odor, so I purchased a febreze plug in to freshen up my room. Overall, the room was clean and there was no loud noises from the other visitors.

The comforter in the room on the one bed had a blood staun in it. We had a party of 2 adults 2 children and only 2 towels in the room. The amenities for the hotel showed an elevator there was not one. All in all it was an old hotel and needs upgrades. There also appeared to have people living in the hotel.

Room looked clean but smelled of urine. The bath has clean and smelled great. The door was very hard to close and to be kicked to secure it. AC was functioning very well . Was advised where the ice machine was but then found it was broken.

Don’t want to beat up a small business but the hotel has seen better days. Signs of water damage in the room. Poorly cleaned. Dusty. Obviously stained bath mat, dingy towels, blood spots on fitted sheet and one of the pillow cases. There’s really no excuse for this. They don’t seem especially busy. Baffled by hi median score, tbh. Very polite at check-in, at least. Won’t return and would opt for higher scores hotel in location.

Smell in the side entry hallway, the hallway to the bedrooms smell like weed. Towels were dirty. I don’t think they change the towels. If they look folded they just leave them there. One of the towels looked like it was dragged through the floor. Another like a mechanic cleaned his hands with it. The fitted sheet also had scrapes. Someone should inspect this places more often. I just left and slept in the car

The smell… it’s as if someone got a wet dog and smoked weed while walking up and down the hallway for weeks on end. I asked for new sheets and changed the sheets myself- the ones on the bed were yellow and definitely not been changed for awhile. The check in staff was very meh and quiet. Not an overly welcoming place. Felt a little unsafe with my kids. I saw some sketchy people. We got approached early in the morning by a homeless man asking us for money in the parking lot too. He definitely hangs out there a lot to ask guests for money. The check out was very “ok bye”. Like not how was your stay? Etc. It was noisy when trying to fall asleep also. Another note to add, the fridge was super loud. The bathroom was okay.. the doors/walls/faucet etc are needing replacing/fixing up. The doors are so dirty and dingy. The floors definitely aren’t cleaned up properly either. I wouldn’t recommend here unless you need a quick place for an ok price to rest your head for a few hours. I’m glad I didn’t see bed bugs or cockroaches in our room at the very least.

April 2024 - This place is dirty. We felt disgusted sleeping on the beds. But we were too tired to leave (had just driven 18 hours). Stains all over the bedding, cigarette burns in it, hairs on it. Dirty floors. Just yucky. I’m not a picky person, but if I were you I’d avoid this place.

There was a laundry basket full with towels in the room upon check in, the bathtub was dirty, there was no soap or shampoo in the shower or sink. Floors were sticky, lamps were unplugged, tv screen was dirty.

I would never go to this Red Roof again and would not recommend it. Filthy. Parts of baseboards falling off and moldy. 1st room they gave us the mattress was leaning up against the wall. The second was terrible in every way. I will be contacting corporate with pictures showing how disgusting the hotel was.

The place is very clean but beware‼️the bed are so old the springs are coming out the mattress and they are so uncomfortable for the price you paying for a night in this hotel they should have better sleeping matress $119 down the drain couldn’t even get a good rest woke up with my body aching so bad would never stay here again

Terrible mattress! Heard every noise, dog barking in room across the hall, people talking next door, water pipes making loud noise every 45 seconds, and every car on the highway! Breakfast is fine if you like cereal, otherwise your going to checkout hungry.

OK for an overnight stop. Rather run down but nothing really wrong except very noisy air conditioning and a strange noise which I think was from the plumbing in other rooms. Easy access from the highway but little external noise. Places to eat within walking distance.

Was initially given a room that was occupied. Key to 2nd room did not work; had to return to desk for another key. Bed and furniture was good. Almost zero water pressure in bath; hardly could get enough to brush teeth, so a shower was out of the question. Disappointing.

Clean and comfortable but not quiet. The mini fridge was unbelievably loud. Doors slammed continuously all night. The rooms have little soundproofing, so our frisky neighbors kept us awake both in bed and in the shower. Hope we didn’t wake them when we checked out at 6:00 am. Lights and outlets on the bedside tables didn’t work. But cheap, clean and comfortable other than that. Pleasant and efficient check in.

The property is a bit rundown, but we needed a pet friendly pace to stay. When I went to check in, I was not greeted and asked for my ID. I was given my key card and room number with no real conversation. I met my husband and dogs outside and led them to our room to find out that I was given keys to an occupied room. The guest was in the bathroom with the room open when I entered the room. I apologized and I returned to the desk and explained what happened. Even though the front desk staff member was helping another couple, he did address my issue and assign us to an alternate room.

Had to wait 1/2 hour for room to be cleaned. That was 6:15 in the evening. I had reserved the room a week prior for our stay. The room I reserved wasn’t available. (A reserved room). The check-in lady was very apologetic but after a 10 hour drive my husband wasn’t happy. Cleaning lady was also apologetic but she finished cleaning and the room was spotless. We travel down south once a year but won’t stay there again.

The location made it hard to get into and out of the parking lot. The first floor smelled horrible. The stong musty smell suggests mold. My family was approached by a man asking for money in the parking lot. The breakfast is cereal and store bought packages of oatmeal. Spend a few dollars extra to go to a nicer hotel.

Very unsafe looking area. There was a cop just standing outside the door to the Waffle House next-door at 10 PM. Beds were loud, bouncy, and uncomfortable. Guests doors in the hallways slam. The bathroom was in serious need of a repair. No toilet paper holder. Floor in the bedroom was slick like a bowling alley. Price was great, but I don’t know how people are rating it a 10 out of 10. I’d give it a 6 at best

These rooms are horribly cared for. The bed springs are literally poking out of the bed. You can hear it when you sit down, the bed is sinking in. The hallways smell and the breakfast is nothing but cereal, muffins and fruit.

My biggest problem with this room is the cleaning Overkill the smell of soap or Pine-Sol whatever they use was overwhelming couldn't get away from the smell the bathroom floor was actually slippery with soap with my sneakers on if I could have opened the window I would have. If you go to the breakfast buffet go early because it's picked over by 7:00. No waffles or scrambled eggs. I don't know if every Red Roof stopped having them.
