The rooms were ok, not real clean, the internet was very spotty we couldn't get it in the room unless we left the door open and stood by it. The air-conditioner worked but smelled very musty.

Stayed 3 nights

We stayed in a kitchen balcony room. Room was quite large. Kitchen supplies were bare minimal. 2 plates, 2 forks, 2 cups etc. nothing to dry dishes on, not even a dish towel. We went to dollar General and bought paper towels, paper plates and a dish towel. Bathroom had some updated fixtures, but the shower knob was broken. There was no toilet paper holder. Roll just sits on counter or back of toilet. Wi-Fi was pretty much non-existent. Location is good. Beach access across the street. But parking is very tight. On the weekend, there were no parking spots left except “employee “ parking, so guests had to use those. It’s a budget friendly, family friendly place, so it was very noisy with kids running around in the room above and beside us. Make sure you get top floor if you want to sleep, but be aware there is no elevator, so pack light.

Checked in late the 26th of October. Was Told the restaurant opens at 7am. We were glad it was our only beach day. This hotel is not updated. The ramp to get to the stairs has loose boards. One of our children tripped and almost fell from one of them. Dated room. Iron and no ironing board. When we opened the door to the balcony there was wood rot above. It was gross. The front door only had one lock with a weird beeping sound if we didn’t jiggle the handle. Both beds were not comfortable at all. At 2 am I woke up because the room was super bright. They do not have curtains on the windows and it looks like daytime at night. They had balcony lights on every room that did not shut off. It made sleeping difficult. The morning of the 27th our friends checked online to see what time the restaurant opened and it said it was already open at 7am. When we went down at 830am it was still closed. The people in the office had no clue why or if they were coming in. They didn’t open until 2pm. Front desk told us the trolley was free. We waited 45 mins for a trolley that wasn’t free. Ended up driving and paying to park (actually cheaper to drive). When we came back from dinner on the 27th we couldn’t fit our cars past the restaurant. All 4 spots were taken by people at the bar. (We watched them leave) Finally, the pool had unaccompanied children swimming. I told the front desk they said “yeah we saw and asked where there parents were?”Nothing Done, Scary! unhappy with our accommodations.

This was a decent stay for the night. We had a hard time finding parking later at night and were a little worried because the balcony door wouldn’t lock, but it was a fine stay for a night.
