Fantastic small hotel in the center of Old Florence close to several must do sites uet quiet evenings for sleeping. Top notch staff made us feel welcome and special and recommended/handled booking several great local/not touristy restuarants. We also took advantage of the spa with the honeymoon massage package; highly recommend. Excellent breakfast to start each day and just great personal touches made our stay wonderful. Highly recommended!

Our stay was absolutely exceptional. Although our arrival was a bit confusing due to Google Maps taking us in circles, we eventually parked nearby and walked to the hotel. The front desk was incredibly helpful, especially since we arrived after the arranged parking closed at 11:30 PM,they made sure we were settled comfortably in our room. We were warmly welcomed with a bottle of champagne and delicious macrons. The room itself was stunning, spacious, with a large walk-in closet, a luxurious bathroom with both a bath and a shower, and breathtaking views. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making for a perfect night’s sleep. The staff went above and beyond throughout our stay. They personally helped me bring the car to the front of the hotel and allowed it to remain parked there overnight. Breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety and high-quality offerings. The team also provided wonderful recommendations for local attractions, held our luggage after checkout, and even accommodated a late checkout. This was truly a fantastic stay,worth every penny. We will absolutely be back without question.

The amenities of this hotel were not accurately described on the Expedia website. The description said, "A bar/lounge". There was NO BAR or LOUNGE! We felt trapped in our room, with nowhere else to sit and have a drink! The mattress topper had a plastic type material that made me wake up sweating night after night. I expected more from a 4* hotel. I would rate this hotel 3* tops. I would not have chosen this hotel had I known it had no place to go besides our room! Location was fabulous! Staff was friendly and service was great.

Great stay. Centrally located with very well appointed rooms. Service was fantastic. The spa is really cool—great steam room, sauna, and hot tub (just note you need to reserve it ahead of time). I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We loved the location and spacious, clean rooms. Bathrooms were well appointed and the enclosed shower was lovely after a long day of site-seeing in the heat. Staff was so helpful and accommodating, even making us breakfast bags to go for our very early departure. Would absolutely stay here again!

The staff was incredible! Everyone was very kind and helpful. We booked this for part of our honeymoon, and thought it would be a great option. It has an incredible location and everything is walkable. Unfortunately while taking a bath, I found mold in the tub. Everything else was very clean, and they made parking our rental car easy. The walls felt very thin, as we heard banging from the room directly above us for many hours. The breakfast is just okay, but we're grateful it was available!

This hotel was charming and beautiful. It was in a great location. Walkable to many sites. This hotel was maintained and very clean. Our room was a spacious room with a living area and a bedroom. There was a malfunction lock on our bathroom door that caused me to get locked in the bathroom for nearly an hour. My husband had already fallen asleep when I took a shower and could not unlock the door. I locked it to try to keep it from opening. My husband did wake up after I knocked loud enough and he went to get assistance from the hotel. A staff member had to use a screwdriver to turn the lock mechanism from the hallway side, which unlocked the bathroom door. That 3rd floor bathroom door lock should be replaced. I had my phone charging in another room, it was a very cold night, a fire hazard, and no way to get help if I was alone. There was the police gathered in front of the hotel plaza downstairs that I could see from the bathroom window that I was considering to yell for help if I could not get out.

This was a beautiful boutique hotel. Our room was large, had a great view of the historical sites, hot tub, terrace and very clean. It is in a old building but everything in the rooms was upgraded and modern. Hotel staff was extremely hospitable and offered us a drink when we arrived. They also have great communication, reached out to me prior to my stay with hotel information and to ask about how we plan to travel there. This is located in the vicinity of all of the historical sites. Only negatives were the time of year, it was beginning of July, the area was extremely crowded and it was intolerably hot outside and the room was temperature controlled.

We stayed on the top floor and the room was spectacular! From the comfortable bed to the astonishing view from our upper patio to the wonderful service (especially Santiago) the hotel was perfect. It is also ideally located to walk anywhere in old Florence within 15 minutes and restaurants everywhere.

I borrowed a charger until I bought one. Nadia asked me 4 times in lobby where it was... I left it with an employee, showed her my portable charger I bought but she didn't stop. I will never return or recommend. Literally a 5 euro item I paid 700 euros for 1 night stay. Rude and unprofessional She did this in the lobb of the hotel!!

The staff was extremely helpful and made many arrangements on our behalf before our arrival. The location was absolutely perfect in the heart of Firenze but a street or two from all of the hustle and bustle so a really nice respite from the crowds. Amazing little piazza with many restaurants and felt so walkable and safe. The room was sizeable and gave us much space to relax and decompress. We enjoyed the Breakfast and apertivo service each day. We will stay here again!

The rooms were large, well maintained and extremely comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. Hotel bem centralizado, atendentes e gerentes muito simpáticos mas não voltaria. Na primeira noite que chegamos, tínhamos acabado de ser roubadas. Roubaram nossa mala de mão no trem com passaportes e todos os nossos pertences, o recepcionista não queria nos deixar hospedar no hotel. Não teve a mínima sensibilidade e bom senso, as delegacias de polícia estavam fechadas, não havia o que fazer e éramos duas mulheres sozinhas. Eu e minha filha de 18 anos. Após eu me exaltar com a negação em nos hospedar mesmo estando toda a hospedagem paga e tendo cartão de crédito como garantia, o recepcionista aceitou a foto do meu passaporte que eu tinha no celular. Nos colocou num quarto horrível que nada condizia com as fotos dos sites. No dia seguinte eu solicitei a mudança de quarto e eles prontamente me concederam. No novo quarto sim, as condições eram ótimas. O gerente foi ótimo e tentou reparar da melhor maneira possível a insensatez do funcionário da noite anterior. De qualquer forma o hotel tem uma avaliação nos sites de hotel que, na minha opinião, não condizem com a realidade. Já fiquei em hotéis muito melhores em Firenze. O San Firenze, na minha opinião tem apenas uma excelente localização, nada mais.

Booked for a short stay in Florence and had a phenomenal experience here! The front desk staff is always incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming - every single person we encountered! From the moment you check in to the moment you check out - it was a pleasure. The room was beautiful and comfortable our whole stay. The bed and pillows felt great and fresh each day. They always gave us fresh towels the next day and even new toiletries. The decor elegant and classical. They even had a little vanity mirror in the bathroom that had a ring light - so easy to do your makeup, ladies! The hotel is in the most perfect location - it is central to all of the things you would want to see in terms of historical locations and close to so many shops and restaurants. Even the train station to Rome was just about a 15 minute walk! They are always ready to assist with any questions or with recommendations. We also loved the breakfast every morning with pastries and coffee. A lot of good options to eat and perfect to start the day! They have a lovely area for dining and you can pick what you’d like. There’s also a convenience store (Tabacchi) right across the corner! Thank you so much San Firenze Suite & Spa! My husband and I know that when we come back to Florence we will be staying here again! We recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming and relaxing end to each busy day in Florence!

Outstanding hotel in the heart of Florence. Our recently decorated Junior Suite was excellent. The duplex was very clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were amazingly helpful and always on hand. Can’t recommend enough. Florence is a beautiful town, and the San Firenze Suites is the perfect place to enjoy it.

We were 3 and our 18yr old had the sofa bed in the living room. The view from the two rooms was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the decor lovely. Breakfast was included as a continental - but was over and above what we expected - good selection of hot and cold foods, amazing coffee. All staff were highly professional and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting Florence.
