Our stay at the Hampton was outstanding! The hotel was clean and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Staff were friendly and courteous. It was a great experience!

Great new hotel. Problem in the pool area. We were trying to get out of the pool at closing time when the lights went out. No way to friends them back on. No clock in the room to indicate time. Very very unsafe as we were literally on the steps and could not see.

Stayed three nights when we got a huge snow storm, couldn't have been happier. The pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was awesome. Great work out facility, comfortable beds and very clean over all.

While my hotel experience was pleasant, I must bring attention to the many cleanliness issues I found in my room. There were several stains on the carpet. There was orange mold around the rim of my bathroom sink due to the odd placement of the faucet in the corner of the sink. The shower curtain had a moldy smell. And the worst was when the bathtub had been recoated; as you could tell from the poor edge work on the floor, they left the anti-slip pads in the tub and painted over them, which made them curl, turning the edges into sharp like blades that made taking a shower an unpleasant experience.

240 bucks a night for one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The lobby is clean and that’s it. If you have a passport stay in Sault Ontario in a 5 star hotel for half the cost. Sadly there are no nice hotels in Sault Michigan. And the prices are highway robbery

The bathtub in the room was in terrible condition. The fiberglass was actually peeling off and in some places had been torn away. It needs to be replaced. The shower and tub were unuseable in this condition. Given the significant price that was paid, the room was of poor value for the money.

Staff at check in was efficient and kind. Everything else makes me regret every penny and gives me buyers remorse. The carpet in the room was wet by the window and dirty throughout the property, the bathtub had cracks in it and something rough stuck to the floor, someone’elses socks were on the floor behind the curtain, walls are paper thin. This was NOT and $200+ room, but I had no choice since I needed a last minute room. It makes me sick that I paid that. If I could give zero stars I would. A refund is about all that would make it better.

Bed was very hard, uncomfortable. Rooms facing the gas station next door/road are very very loud with vehicles/transports? Stopping and starting. The wall mounted unit for heat/air was fine when we first arrived then was extremely noisy as time went on. Breakfast was excellent, breakfast area staff were very kind and welcoming.

Good budget friendly hotel. Driveway is full of slush and was NOT plowed well at all limiting parking at 8 pm when there was NO snow all day. Tub was in poor condition in the room. Fridge was turned off.

There was virtually no sound deadening in the hallways or between our room and the next. We could feel the individual plywood sheets under the carpet in our room, and the all squeaked and popped. The toilet wouldn’t fill without removing the tank lid and jiggling the works. I expect a LOT more from Hampton Inns.

When we arrived at 8pm that night(Sunday) the desk person told us they were not sure if we had a room.( It was already pre-paid on my credit card) As it turned out 30 rooms were not cleaned that day due to lack of staff! according to desk staff. After about 15minutes we did get the room we paid for. Everything was fine except the noise at night and in the morning.

This hotel was a bit pricier than I usually pay, but after arriving I see why. It was really top notch without being over the top fancy. The breakfast had EVERYTHING! The food was real food, necessities in public bathrooms, nice pool and comfy beds.

Newly remodeled. The interior felt brand new. As I walked around the back and side of the building, I could see it was in need of some maintenance. There was a nice sized yard in back where you could let the kids or your dog run around and play. There was a poop bag dispenser. We did not have our dog with us. Convenient location. Breakfast was as expected. Nothing much offered if you eat vegan. Would definitely stay here again.
