We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were spacious, so clean and comfortable, with a good sized fridge, coffee and tea maker, and toiletries. We appreciated the pool and all the floaties, fun after a day at the beach. The location was convenient, and the rooms were quiet at night despite being so close to 28. Would definitely book again.

Basic room was clean and recently updated, the pool was clean and in good shape as well. The location is great for walking to restaurants in Falmouth and for accessing the shining sun bike path and riding to Wood's Hole.

Beautifully updated rooms. Great price. Modern bathroom. Would have liked a microwave in the room but they made one available elsewhere. Pool needed cleaning.

No one at front desk during check in. Number to call staff at desk when needed. Area outside Front door of office to check in dirty- windows and floor- needed to be swept and cleaned. Inside office ok. Office where ice located no one to man inside means you have to call to get ice. Microwave on porch outside - ok. At least easy access.

It is a motel. It’s a clean place. The walls are paper thin!!! The toiletries are tiny. The ice machine is in the main office and there is VERY limited access to ice!!!!!!!!! You can’t get ice!!!

Very nice! Would stay again. Ice machine a little inconvenient. Located in office which was closed later in evening. Microwave located on porch of main house so had to walk outside to end of motel to use. Would definitely stay here again though.

Super comfortable accomodations. The bed was great. The bathroom very clean and well stocked. I loved that there was a microwave and laundry available. The only drawback was that the A/C had trouble keeping up with the hot, humid days. None of our clothing or beach towels could dry. The staff was very pleasant and kept our room amazingly clean and tidy.

Price gouging for mediocrity. The mandatory stay is 2-nights, this is understandable as it's peak season at the Cape and relatively convenient to the Falmouth amenities. However, when paying a premium, expectation is for some of it to go towards upkeep of the motel. However, instead of putting the money towards upkeep and cleaning, it felt more like the money goes into the owner's pocket. Sheets were dirty with brown spots, pillow cases were dirty (ended up sleeping on a towel), rooms have musty smell, overall grimy atmosphere that didn't make you feel very comfortable.

Overall the property was nice. It’s in a convenient location, walkable to many shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The bed was comfortable and the room was mostly clean. It was a bit stuffy, I noticed a couple bugs, and the lamp shades were dirty. Other than that, it was a decent place to stay for a weekend at Cape Cod.

When we arrived to our assigned room well after check in time started, the door was wide open. Upon inspection of the room there were many bugs in the drawers of the dresser and both night stands. There was also mold/bug nests in both nightstands. We contacted the gentlemen who checked us in, he came to look at the room then agreed to give us a refund and we went elsewhere.

Old style motor inn in a busy part of town which can be both good and bad. On main road but quiet in room. Never really heard any outside noise nor anything from adjoining rooms. Safe area and convenient to morning coffee. Bathroom was immaculate with brand new shower, floor and wall tile, sink and toilet. Mattress was dated but very comfortable cover and duvet. Slept very well.

This was perfect for a one night stay with a young family. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. WiFi was weak and didn’t really work, but otherwise couldn’t fault this motel.

The room was nicely appointed, seemingly new floors, bedding, restroom. The mini-fridge was new and had a separate freezer compartment which was nice. Our biggest difficulty was a very uncomfortable mattress, it was firm to a fault. There were only two pillows available and they were small and one was unusable we discovered. The motel doesn't have an adjacent restaurant and we like to hit the supermarket for fresh healthy food. This is why we loved the fridge! However, there were no in-room microwaves, we were told to go to an outdoor shabby looking "porch" for a toaster and microwave (and share them with the 30 or so other rooms. Completely unacceptable, we felt.

Our brief stay at the Mariner was wonderful. The manager was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Several updates to the rooms including the updated, clean bathroom. Location was superb as it was walking distance to the church (next door) many shops and restaurants on Main Street and the beach. The bike path was also very close and easy to get to which we used to explore Woods Hole, Nobska Point Lighthouse and Old Silver Beach. Affordable place to stay in Falmouth and close to everything.

The room was clean but basic. The problem was on Sunday morning the bathroom had two inches of water on the floor and the toilet would not flush. We called the owners and because of a language barrier they told me to send an email. This is unacceptable. I would like a partial refund.

Check-in was a little rough as we arrived around 4:45 PM which I would consider prime check in time and nobody was at the front door and there were two other guests trying to get in. When I called the number on the door, the gentleman indicated he had an emergency and wouldn’t be back for 20 or 30 minutes, I asked if he was the only one that worked at the place and he said yes. He ended up actually hanging up on me in reading some other reviews. It sounds like this has happened to others as well. That being said he did show up within about 15 minutes check in was flawless after that and our room was newly renovated, huge, and super cute and very clean. So all in all we were happy with the overall stay minus the check in. The outside of the building Could use some updating, but we were extremely happy with our room

This is a basic clean older motel whose best feature is its location, walking distance to town. We were in Falmouth for my wife to run the Cape Cod half-marathon and we could walk to the start/finish area and leave the car at the motel.

This is a great property, very well located in Falmouth. We had a short stay to catch the Island Queen to Marthas Vineyard ( a few minutes walk away ). The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the shower was good. We didn't use the pool. A few minutes walk to shops and restaurants.

Mariner Motel is an old property but WELL taken care of. Extremely clean and convenient. You could certainly walk to the Island Queen ferry (8 minute walk). So convenient. Several breakfast options within walking distance. Loved the motel. One ice machine in the front office. We stayed two nights. The place was booked.

A simple room, nothing fancy but it was very clean and everything worked properly. Nice area and a close drive to the ferry, and beach. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants (hotel is right on Main Street).

The staff and facilities were fabulous. Everything was so clean and the continental breakfast was fresh and provided more than the normal continental breakfast. The staff went out of their way to be helpful including carrying our luggage up to the second floor. The front desk clerk provided lots of helpful advice for our stay also. Location was outstanding. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I’ve never stayed at a better and cleaner Motel in my life. There is a special charm and cleanliness to the rooms and it feels very comfortable and at home. Minus the no breakfast and only. Minus the seasonal pool, I cannot complain about anything for the reasonable price.
