Hotel Marco's

The view from the room was lovely, you’re right along the water and surrounded by restaurants so I suggest a white noise machine at night. The breakfast and coffee were a lovely touch and we appreciated being able to leave our bags. I wish the staff was able to provide authentic food recommendations, but they wanted us to eat at the hotel restaurant. The shower could be tight if you’re a medium/large person, but we didn’t find it to be a problem.

We stayed in a 2 bedded room with 20 cm passage way at ene of bed and 25cm between sink and shower. Balcony overlooked road and about width of door. All very cramped for cost.

I’ve been traveling to Como for years for business and Marcos is a good place to stay. It’s located near a ferry stop and is situated right on the lake with views of it. There are times of restaurants right there so it’s perfect for just popping down and eating. It’s only a two minute walk to the center of town.

The hotel was very nice, nice location, excellent restaurant. I enjoyed my stay there.

Although the hotel is a bit dated, the room with balcony overlooking the lake was spacious and spotlessly clean. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
