We arrived late for our stay. Directions were quite precise and our key and all details were easily accessible. Accommodation was quirky, comfortable and had amazing views. We also had access to a swimming pool , kayaks, bikes and paddle boards. There was a coffee machine but would have preferred a kettle. That is our only negative.

The place was clean and the people were amazing but definitely exactly what you would expect for the price. The pool was small but clean and a perfect temperature. The only negative was the very tight parking.

We really liked the room. It was spacious with large refrigerator, microwave, and even a toaster! We enjoyed the heated pool. They offer free kayak and bicycles. The location is great - right before the 7 mile bridge. We loved the onsite restaurant. Porky’s was great for breakfast as well as dinner. We also loved the on site mini golf.

Kayaks, paddle boards free, also bikes so a ride on the old bridge to pigeon key was a great morning idea. Mid day drive to Sombrero Beach or better Bahia Honda. Hit the Happy Hour Mojitos next door at Porkys. Don't have to drive so have many. Spacious accommodations, our unit full kitchen. .

The property was cute and close to food and activities. The aparment was clean and mostly comfortable (the primary bed was less so, but I am a high-maintenance sleeper.) I loved that activites like kayaking and bikes were included in the rental. We only stayed one night but we would love to come back again!

location was excellent and the setting was nice, accomodation was ok but needs to look at the amount of lighting in the room , air conditioning had a bright light which kept us awake. Safety needs to be addressed, our holiday was spoilt when we were incorrectly launched on a kayak by an untrained member of staff ( mechanic ) which tipped over resulting in the loss of camera/phone etc value circa $1300. Staff were helpful in trying to recover it but we still lost it. This should never have happened in the first place. We should only have been launched by experienced member of staff who wasn't available at the time. Pool was uncomfortably warm and some days hadnt been cleaned, there was a party while we were there, we had to clear up ourselves the next day, food, plastic bottles debris etc was just left. Bit dissapointing really, didnt see anyone ine the pool area the whole 3 days we stayed, checking temperatures etc.

We absolutely loved the property and it’s amenities. Staff was great, room was spacious and clean (both visual and smelled clean), and the convenience to both Key Largo and Key West was perfect for our week. Would definitely both recommend and plan another stay here!

We stayed 2 nights at this propeerty. Overall it is a quiet place that is conveniently located at 1/2 way from Miami to Key West. There are excellent beaches within a short driving distance. Comfort-wise our stay was at or below average expectations. The room was not very comfrortable. There was no luggage stand to place our suitcases on. Bathroom had a tiny and very inconvenient sink with no space to put anything, not even a razor and a shaving cream. There was mold and dirt in the shower. There is a steep wooden staircase leading to the second floor that was not illuminated in the dark. I have nearly injured my foot by missing a step. The internet did not work throughout our stay. Our overall conclusion is that the place is not worth the money they charge. Won't stay there again. We haven't used marina or any guest services or rentals, so can't judge on those.

This location was great! The check-in process was easy, the check out process was also easy but just not personable, I wasn't even asked how my stay was. If you book a room here, I would advise to verify whether it is one that has been recently updated because the one I was in, Grouper, had not been updated but the next to me was being worked on and the workers decided they would start banging as early as 730 AM and I made a comment to them as to how early it was, to be greeted by a trash can and paint trays and brushes in the path leading to my room door. The shower had mold as so did the shower head which I cleaned up myself. My mattress was on a platform that kept sliding off the frame. I made the best of our stay there because I was on vacation but if I do book here again, I will definitely make sure it is one of the more updated rooms. The restaurant next door was great, food and entertainment. Overall, good place for the price and location.

Everything was pretty great for the price, honestly. Location was great. The room was clean. The only massive issue was there was a paper thin ratty-looking connecting door between my room and the neighboring room. I could hear every word spoken as if we were in the same room. They had two small children who were screaming and crying much of the time. It was quite unpleasant and enough to ruin an otherwise great stay.

Great option to be involved with water sports. Prices are fair compared to the competitors. Paddle board and kayaks are included and additional charges for snorkeling and jet ski tours. There are several restaurants with full service bar walk distance. We enjoyed not being dependable on the car. Bed is comfortable. Shower gets warm but not hot. The WiFi is very weak (It won’t work for the smart TV in the room). We booked an extra night we liked so much and highly recommend to do the snorkeling tour with Patrick.

You definitely get what you pay for. The room is very spacious, but very outdated (wobbly table and chairs). Bed was very comfortable. Floors clean. Bare minimum in kitchen. Tiny bathroom. Broken shower head (was told it would be fixed, but it was not, but we didn't ask for it to be fixed, we managed). It did the job for what we needed for two nights. Can't remember which one we stayed in, but try to get the cottage that faces the marina and not the one close to the street.

We only stayed one night, and it was a lovely place. I want to add that the staff is the friendliest I have encountered in a long time at a stay. At checkout I asked where I can find a wall hanging similar to what was in my room and the manager, I think her name was Bonnie, went above and beyond to help me secure and purchase one. Kaitlyn and Anna were also very helpful. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

BE AWARE -EARLY CHECK-OUT TIME. Overall, we did enjoy our short stay. I wish I had more time to check out the amenities, but we arrived too late. The marina was nice, and the rooms were clean and provided the essentials. My family loved that there was a Starbucks in the driveway. My only complaint was that the mirror in our room was placed way too high for any of us to use it, and there is no full-length mirror, so I had to use the TV reflection to fix my hair. (We are all 5'3) So even in the toes, it was a struggle to see any part of our faces. Other than that, we would stay here again, but beware, check-out time is 10 am.

We didn't even stay. The late check in instructions are horrible. Building 4 is BROWN, not light blue as stated. So 30 mins later we finally entered our room and were hit in the face with an overwhelming smell of cleaning products. More than anyone should even be breathing in. Sounds were coming from a tv, but not ours. The room next to ours had their tv so loud, it sounded like it was in our room. Most likely because it was sitting up against some makeshift bamboo door (covered by a curtain) that I guess connected the 2 rooms. It was so thin I could've put my foot through it. So that threw feeling safe out the window. The living room AC sounded like a spaceship was taking off...and it never quieted down. There was no way anyone could relax or sleep with that noise. There were food crumbs all over the couch. We made several attempts to call the "after hours help line", but nobody ever answered and to this day nobody has called us back. We were in the room 30 mins. Just enough time to book another rental down the street. Save your time and money...

What a great place to stay in Marathon. Not staying longer is our only regrets. It's a little paradise. Next to the 7 miles bridge, you can borrow bicycle free of charge to do it. Will be back in the futur :)

First time in the keys, captain pips was centrally located. We would consider this property a key west experience not a new and glamorous resort. We enjoyed looking at the ocean from the patio and the authentic feel. There are some amenities on property like kayaks bikes paddle boards, it would be more beneficial for residents if these facilities were available after 4 pm. Kitchen was equipped with enough to cook small meals and reheat items. Inclusion of a cooler was a plus! Pool was open 24 hours. Publix is close enough to stock the apt.

The room was clean but small. No comfortable seating except for two bar stools and the bed. It is expensive for what you get. Pros: TV, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, clean, excellent AC, free bike/kayak/paddleboard rental. Cons: noisy (shared door with neighboring apartment), small, associated grill and minigolf relatively expensive, small pool.

Central base for the keys. Restaurants and bars nearby where you can watch manatees as you eat. We went kayaking free of charge with dolphins in the Gulf. Excellent large room with comfy bed. Nice balcony - we had a Swordfish utility upstairs which was nice. Staff excellent. Has a small beach and marina with a good pool. Great base for the keys and trip to Key West - we loved our time here

It was a great place to stay! By the water, restaurant right beside us, Starbucks also there for coffee lovers, a gas station across the street. It’s was a great stay, clean room, a lot of towels, great shower. Also, the room came with cups, plates and utensils in case you need any. Refrigerator and freezer pretty big to fit enough!
