This property is a quality place to stay that is convenient with decent parking. No elevator.

No elevator for 2 story motel!!

I think is a good option for people visiting the area. The room is well maintained. There is always parking available, and the area is very quiet. I didn't like the key card to enter room as sometimes didn't work and we had to go back to the reception area to get it fixed a few times. Also, I needed to add a night to my stay, and they said I had to do a reservation using Expedia. I believe they should be able to add a night from their computer, especially when they said they have availability but instead I had to do another reservation.

Sam the manager was great. I arrived early but was checked in immediately. He even moved his car to give me a shady spot to park! Facility was immaculately clean. Easy to get to from the interstate with plenty of eating and shopping options nearby. One quibble: The pool was closed.

Hotel was fine. Room was clean. Owners-mgmt obviously lives on sight. Our view out our bedroom window consisted of a discarded corner garden/whirlpool tub repurposed for growing plants.. there was a spare tire under the steps to the second floor - and no elevator…. Was a unique place. Not bad but just not what you expect when booking a hotel. The pool was quiet but a little dirty. But hey, we came to sleep and shower, for those two things it was just fine and clean.

2 story motel feel: no elevator! No freezer. Very inconvenient to bring luggage upstairs with neck problems

Inconvenient access due to crowded area & Inconvenient access roads. Limited parking, especially handicap spots.

Carpet in the room felt sticky to walk on, tons of dust on the vents in the room

Upon arrival our room had an odor of wet dog and cigarettes. The beds were extremely hard and covered with a stained and filthy bedspread with 1 of our pillowcases having visible blood stains! No telling when the carpet was vacuumed last anywhere within the entire hotel. Watch out for the random desk chairs thrown about the lawn and old rusty signage by the entrance doors. Keep driving! It’s not worth it!

Quiet, pleasant area. Room was very clean and staff was very nice and helpful.

Bed and pillows are comfy. Food was waffles then the normal bagels, bread, cereal, etc. Shower had hair on the walls

Found a lot of dead ants throughout the room and also stains on the mattress that looked like blood stains

Our Orbitz reservation did not show up in their system. We had to pay again & request an Orbitz refund. The shower was dirty & we only stayed one night instead of two.

My husband can stay most anywhere. He was disgusted with this hotel. Two dehumidifiers were in the hall-CLUE-something's wrong! When we opened our room, we were clobbered by a dank, musty stench. It appears that they've tried to upgrade with paint, but failed at important things like customer comfort and health. Paint remained where it wasn't cleaned up. We didn't ask but got a handicap room. There was no cover on the toilet, the tub seat blocked the shower curtain so water poured out, & the rail was so distant from the tub that there was no place for a dry towel or clothes. The cheap, no control shower has ONE aim. Over the tub was a discolored leak spot from above. My husband said something at the front desk & was told it was AL, so damp & there'd been a lot of rain. THE MANAGER STOOD BY WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. THIS was MORE than AL humidity & rain! Dehumidifiers in the hall testify to that! There had been a serious leak and they lied trying to hide a potential Health Department issue! The rusty tissue holder shows the damp was long-standing, not recent or regional! We wasted our money, probably have fungi in our lungs, and there was no apology or acknowledgement, no offer of a discount or, better yet, a FULL refund, but only lies by the manager and his poor staff.

Clean rooms. Staff are very kind. Nice hotel for the price! This is our second stay here. Will be back when traveling thru the area again.

Owner was so hateful and rude. He tried to open the door to our room while we were changing and trying to leave. No privacy or decency for guests. There were old bed bug droppings on bed. Stay at your own risk. Hotel is not American owned or operated.

Friendly staff and the room was well kept and clean.

The lobby and room were clean and felt safe. The room was on the small side, but we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Stayed one night. Room was somewhat dated but overall clean so for the price it was worth it.

The room was newly renovated and very clean. It had all the amenities that we expected and everything worked as it should. it was a very pleasant stay.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and always greeted me. The room was clean and it has the hottest hot water of any hotel I ever stayed at. The only thing I can possible say is that the bathroom door opens up right on top of the toilet then hits the tub so a fat girl like myself was not a fan of the door being so close when I used the bathroom if the door was open. To close the door to take a shower you have to step beside the toilet and reach over. There was also some flooring that wasn’t level at the end of the bed and a couple of carpet nails that caught me by the bathroom. But overall it was a very nice hotel at a great location. I would definitely book again

The room is very clean and spacious. The front desk representative is very professional.

It was a good stay. The only problem was the light was broken when you first came into the room. But still managed our way aroind with ease

Excellent Hotel it would have been a 5 star for but the you lady at the desk either don’t like her job? Or need an attitude adjustment. All in not Bad.

It was ok…the furniture is faded…there was a bar of soap but I was hoping there was a shower cap. Not to be ungrateful but continental breakfast was a waffle machine which is great except for I don’t eat carbs and was hoping they at least had som hard boiled eggs. The biggest problem I had was that I am handicapped and was in a lot of pain…the manager refused to help me get my few things I needed… not even go get the hotel cart for me…the morning attendant was much more helpful and when he saw me struggling helped me to my van. It’s only one exit away from downtown FORT PAYNE and was quieter than being in the midst of the busy part so I slept well.

Lost my reservation and had to pay a second time. Fortunately Expedia was helpful to get a refund on the original reservation which had already been paid for. It is clear from the cleanliness of the facility that management doesn’t care about making their guests comfortable. We had stayed at this location several times before. We will not go back again.

The people were friendly and were trying but appeared new and not very knowledgeable. It took about 10 min. to check-in and we didn't get our room keys for about 30 min.. The coffee maker and the clock radio/alarm in the room didn't work, nor did the T.V. in the breakfast area. We will give them the benefit of doubt and stay again but if there is no improvement, we will look elsewhere.

Good and quiet area

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is good; close to main area of town but not as much traffic. Continental breakfast was good. Easy self parking. Room rates are reasonable. The only thing negative that I noticed was that the sound from other rooms could be heard fairly easily.

It was clean easy to get on and off interstate we were just passing through.

It was very comfortable in our room. Very clean and easy on and off the freeway. Would stay there again.

From California property is clean updated and nice. Area seems sketchy but nothing happened so I guess it’s okay. Near falls and kinda near the cave!

The coffee machine and the juice machine were both out of order for breakfast. Only thing to eat were some danish and you could make a waffle. Bathroom floorhad dirt on it. Noise outside our room.

Just wanted a warm room and bed for the night, which is exactly what i got. Very basic and very dated. Breakfast lacked tremendously. However coffee was good and clerk was friendly. Safe place and safe area.

The hotel is amazingly clean and comfortable. The people who work there are so nice. My only criticism is that the Continental breakfast is not fantastic. All cheap carbs and sugar. Nothing really healthy to eat and no protein.

Breakfast was terrible

There was no hot breakfast. Just hot coffee fruit, cereal and juice. The toilet seat needs to be changed out. IT SMELT SO GOOD COMING INTO THE FRONT LOBBY. THEN, AFTERWARDS ITS NOT. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS SO FRIENDLY AND GOT US WHAT WE NEEDED. HE WORKS NIGHT SHIFT. PLEASE KEEP HIM!
