served the purpose intended. booked just to sleep the night and travel the next day. I had a day pass for an all inclusive close by. It has a nice beach on the property with clear water and is very central. If your looking fancy it may not be for you but it has ac an hot water

Property is a nice property but everything is old dated and dirty. The is bed is old and in a poor condition, the linen on the beds is between stained or have hole in them, bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, AC is falling down, the television is so small and don’t work and the chef is so rude so we change our mind from eating there. On the positive note they have a beach and it was clean and nice. Wouldn’t stay again

the rooms faced the sun and the decks were to hot to sit on. Deck chairs were uncomfortable. staff were very good and helpful. Andy the security man was always ther to help wit anything.

Property was nice and close to the beach. The beach was beautiful but not enough lounge chairs. Room were basic beds were hard no fridge or coffee maker or microwave in our room and only seen a few cockroach's . The grounds were very well taken care of and pretty. Music could be loud at night but bearable. Staff and locals that hung around the hotel were nice.

This is a small resort but central clean and on the beach. The beach area is a public space so there is the inconvenience of husslers approaching you but that really wasn't a big issue. There is a nice coffee shop. I didn't eat there but it is convenient for bars and resteraunts nearby. Bit difficult to find the entrance gate, but the gate keeper and reception were 24 hours for me despite the website saying 10pm. I would say value for money.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön. Am Seven Miles Beach einer der schönsten Lagen.Das Hotel wäre grundsätzlich auch nicht schlecht, aber es fehlt an vielen Details in den Zimmern. Schlechtes Licht, kein Stuhl... Die Sauberkeit der Bettwäsche war sehr schlecht. Das Zimmermädchen macht seine Arbeit gut. Ist aber die einzige, die in diesem Betrieb arbeitet!!!

Staff were very nice. Property was kept tidy and was mostly clean, except the bar/dining area bathrooms. It is in a good location. Room was really poor, except for the air conditioner. Regarding amenities in the room: when I got to my room no towels, had to go ask for some, took a day to get a wash cloth. Had to ask for a bed spread the second day too. There was no safe, coffee maker, fridge, or phone. Didn't care about the phone. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker. Requested a fridge and safe and got a few confusing responses on those questions. Ended up not pressing the issue. There was a TV, but I never turned it on. One bed was very uncomfortable. Furniture was scratched, marred, and stained; sand in the drawers. Bathroom was the worst I have ever seen: mirror was pitted, mold on the ceiling, very low water pressure for the shower, no curtain on shower window, just steel bars, plus a large gap at the window frame stuffed with toilet paper, which I added to. Bathroom sink drained slow and plastic tops on cold and hot water knobs kept falling off.

O hotel é simples, mas com o melhor trecho da praia. Chegamos a noite, não havia ninguém na recepção, não nos pediram documento e entregaram a chave do quarto. O quarto estava sujo. No decorrer da estadia o quarto foi limpo sem a nossa solicitação (diariamente) e ficamos satisfeitas com a limpeza (só a primeira noite nos causou uma má impressão). Os funcionários são simpáticos e atenciosos, nos sentimos seguras. O hotel é pé na areia, está localizado no melhor trecho da praia (e eu percorri todas as praias, passando por vários resorts renomados e chiques). Com certeza eu recomento o hotel e ficaria hospedada novamente.

Small, quaint, safe, clean. Very basic, but perfect for our needs. Owners/management/staff are incredibly friendly, approachable, and accommodating. Security staff is 24/7, on property, making me feel safe and secure at all times.

There was mold in the bathroom, the tub was disgusting. It was so dirty that I chose not to shower. there was 2 small windows that didn’t have curtains and instead of curtains they hang pieces of see through fabric. The toilet bowl was running the whole time after I flushed it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The property is absolutely nothing like advertised, it is totally run down and the staff is clueless about hospitality. The beds in the room were unmade, the bathroom was dingy and it smelled really bad. Two nights were booked and we only stayed there one night, had we gotten to property earlier we would not have stayed any at all! They also had no clue about our booking through Expedia. This place should not even be listed, poor facilities and horrible customer service. I would NEVER recommend it!!!!! Do not book it!

Unfortunately, a very bad experience for our family. So much so that we moved to an alternate resort the following morning. The overall facility was substandard and in disrepair - certainly not as portrayed on the Expedia listing. But the biggest issues related to customer service and comfort. A very large sound system was playing loud bass-heavy music until at least 2-3am. Combined with the uncomfortable beds, this made sleep next to impossible. Worse yet, when approached with this complaint, the staff person was dismissive at best and rude at worst. Very poor customer service overall. Will not be returning and feel we are owed a refund for the second night as we had to abandon this facility early.

I had other amazing stay at tamboo the majority of the staff is so amazing , go above and beyond and r so sweet . The location is perfect and the beach beautiful . My only complaint is one girl i have never seen before who checked me in not very friendly i had another interaction with her and she was again kinda rude as well I was disturbing her then another friend of mine who i have got to stay there with me the last few times last time for a month she went to inquire on rates for an upcoming stay another month and she told her she doesnt know and she should look online so probably lost a customer . Everything else I love.my.home away from home

I requested a specific room months before checking in. I told them it was my husband's birthday and wanted everything to be perfect. She assured me I had that room and of course when we get there they already gave my room to someone else. Girl upon check in was rude from the minute we walked in. She didn't greet us, she didn't apologize for giving away my room. They could have said sorry, offered a free dinner or breakfast...something. WiFi hardly works if that is important to u. The beach chairs are extremely uncomfortable solid wood. But other than that we had a nice stay. The vibes are nice there's security. It's beachfront. If you can deal with rude staff it's s good value. The shower was great and the beds were pretty comfortable. Nannette the maid was wonderful

the rooms faced the sun and the decks were to hot to sit on. Deck chairs were uncomfortable. staff were very good and helpful. Andy the security man was always ther to help wit anything.

Small, quaint, safe, clean. Very basic, but perfect for our needs. Owners/management/staff are incredibly friendly, approachable, and accommodating. Security staff is 24/7, on property, making me feel safe and secure at all times.

Great staff, Cam and Andy were always available to help with anything we asked. Location is perfect a few steps from the beach. Our room could use some updating/TLC otherwise our stay was wonderful.

Close to the beach, good price, clean, safe, friendly locally owned boutique hotel. If you are wanting a authentic, down to earth experience to Jamaican culture support this local family business. All the live music you could want is in walking distance and security is present if you need assistance. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. We are grateful for our stay, thank you ❤️

This is a small resort but central clean and on the beach. The beach area is a public space so there is the inconvenience of husslers approaching you but that really wasn't a big issue. There is a nice coffee shop. I didn't eat there but it is convenient for bars and resteraunts nearby. Bit difficult to find the entrance gate, but the gate keeper and reception were 24 hours for me despite the website saying 10pm. I would say value for money.

Not a luxury spot by any means but why go on vacation if you spend your time in the room anyway. The location is excellent. Staff was friendly and nice. Was not packed at all. Almost felt we had the whole resort to ourselves. I have stayed at the Riu Palace up the road for 10X the price and I would much prefer the Tamboo. Chill vibe. Might find small ants in the room and water pressure might not be the best, but get over it and enjoy the island.

Staff were very nice. Property was kept tidy and was mostly clean, except the bar/dining area bathrooms. It is in a good location. Room was really poor, except for the air conditioner. Regarding amenities in the room: when I got to my room no towels, had to go ask for some, took a day to get a wash cloth. Had to ask for a bed spread the second day too. There was no safe, coffee maker, fridge, or phone. Didn't care about the phone. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker. Requested a fridge and safe and got a few confusing responses on those questions. Ended up not pressing the issue. There was a TV, but I never turned it on. One bed was very uncomfortable. Furniture was scratched, marred, and stained; sand in the drawers. Bathroom was the worst I have ever seen: mirror was pitted, mold on the ceiling, very low water pressure for the shower, no curtain on shower window, just steel bars, plus a large gap at the window frame stuffed with toilet paper, which I added to. Bathroom sink drained slow and plastic tops on cold and hot water knobs kept falling off.

Property is a nice property but everything is old dated and dirty. The is bed is old and in a poor condition, the linen on the beds is between stained or have hole in them, bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, AC is falling down, the television is so small and don’t work and the chef is so rude so we change our mind from eating there. On the positive note they have a beach and it was clean and nice. Wouldn’t stay again

Great places to stay if you want a private beach, good ervice and inexpensive food..It is ver minimal and the entrance is not pleasing to the eye but you cannot beat the beachy Jamaican feel you get once you enter the beach area..Everyone is friendly..I will return..

The place was a great deal price wise. The rooms and staff were great. The one thing wrong we found was that the restaraunts menu was not supported by food availability. But. Steps away to either side of the resort the restaurants are well stocked and reasonably priced.

The room needs lots of upgrade. There is no side dresser lamp so you have to use the main ceiling light, the room does not have ceiling fan and the bathroom ceiling had large visible mold spots. The water in the shower was nice and hot and the bathroom size was large. After he third day of my stay I open the Refrigerator and there was old food, still stored in there from previous guest in which caused the room to have a stitch

We spent the time there for work purpose. The room floor was dirty as if it wasn't cleaned had a little sand and lint. The internet was not working the first night the TV cable was viewable. Customer service was poor, no professional welcome and we were left waiting for assistant while the receptionist was having her own time speaking with a friend. The matress was uncomfortable and it didn't have any protector. The sheet had stain on it and the rags were yellow.
