We had spent almost two weeks in low budget accomodations and booked this for our last night because we wanted a little luxury. I'm so glad we did because it delivered. With a game area for my kids, free laundry facility, pool, bar, and amazing breakfast. We were very pleased and it had a convenient location to the airport to boot. If we ever travel to Costa Rica again, we will stay here for sure.

I did not like the way the pillows smelled. Like they were not clean. We ask them to replace them but they smelled bad too. The outline of the room is a little odd. When you go the bathroom, you need to turn on the lights for the whole room. Service staff is very nice. Breakfast is average. Besides the pillows, everything is clean and well maintained. Location is good, many shopping and dining options around.

Room smelled like urine and the sheets appeared stained but the reception guy insisted they were just old. So I requested to me moved to another room, nicely changed our room but he didnt tell me the second room was for handicap folks with a plastic shower curtain. Been there maybe 12+ times

I liked everything about the manager at the front desk. The front desk was awesome helped us with everything we needed, but when I went to sit in the lounge bar area, I seem to be the last person they wanted to serve. They were serving the people that were sitting at the bar so I was a little disappointed about that bar service area.

I Travel for business, and this hotel for me is in the right location in reference to the companies I visit, also the restaurant serves great food. The best asset is the associates starting from when greeted at check in, housekeeping down to the bartenders and waitresses.

When I arrived to the hotel they said having no reservation. They mentioned that Expedia had issues to report their reservations. Was necessary to wait 2 hours and finally the hotel crew did a new reservation

The staff is very friendly, courteous and provide excellent service. Te checkin had over 30 minute wait there was only one in the front desk when we arrived. Could have an express checkin when everything has been paid and we stayed there three days before.

It's was amazing as always! This is my second trip to San Jose and Aloft within the last month! I'm so blessed to have Eric, Brian, the restaurant staff, Oscar, Jordan, and so many more employee's treat my service canine Sadie and I with real love, and appreciation! The comfort of the rooms, Social areas, bar, restaurant, customer service, and the cleaning ladies are all 5 star employee's! Aloft is like a second family to me!

This hotel claims to be an airport hotel. Takes 30 minutes to get from the hotel to the airport. I never even went to the hotel when my cab driver told how far it was. The hotel misrepresents itself and should refund my money.

This hotel was a good place to overnight near to the airport at the end of our Costa Rica trip. With no traffic early in the morning, the drive took 15 minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was good and the pool was clean and nice. The room was clean and spacious and beds were comfortable! It’s located in a high traffic, busy area but parking was secure and it wasn’t a bother from inside the hotel. You can cross the street via a walking bridge to access a nearby open air mall and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Would stay again but do watch out for traffic depending on when your flight is if that is a concern for you.

The F&B manager needs to be fired. This was the worst service and food I've had in years. I ordered a hamburger and when it finally arrived I couldn't believe it. There was about a 1/2 strip of carmelized onions. The ham was chopped and formed and the cheese was a processed something. To top it off the bun was burned. It came with a grand total of 8 potato wedges. To ad insult to injury it was way overpriced as were the beers. They don't have a shuttle to the airport but can make arrangements. The price is almost exactly twice what I paid a red cab to get me there. If you're paying for a higher quality hotel I expect to get something other than substandard service. Never again, I'd look elsewhere.
