Good location and excellent service. The room was dated but comfortable. What annoyed me is check in 4 pm and check out is 11am. Why not from 3 to 12. The covid is gone The pool has limited sitting space , but half of it is taken by $250 rental cabanas while hotel charges resort fee. There is no coffee machine in the room. The hotel is trying to squeeze you on every corner.

Nice hotel and rooms. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue with room being cleaned. The service didn’t show up until 4:50 pm and we had just returned so we decided to pass. The hotel has a great pool and roof top bar. However the bar service was poor. Slow and inexperienced.

The stay was amazing. The hotel had great amenities: rooftop pool, bars etc! The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were able to check in early. Rico had the best personality during the complimentary wine/beer service. Patrick did amazing during the roll out of the new cocktail class! Lastly, the location was great. I was able to walk to the concert at Chase Field and the after party at The Stadium. Will be staying here again.

The Palomar Hotel shares the building with rental apartments, so you enter on the right doors. There is a very short drive on E Jefferson, close to the corner so don't miss it, else you will circle as the streets are 1 way. Parking is valet at $45 a night and you only pay once a day. Self parking next door is $30, each time you leave! So only use that option if you are not using your car. The lobby is nice and check in was quick. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful, from front desk, to valet, to house keeping, etc... We had a 2 queen room that was a nice size. Bathroom, tub/shower, chest of drawers with fridge, TV, large desk and a sofa under the window. The view looked west down at the plaza. The bed was OK, I had better. Friday and Saturday night the music from the plaza was quite noticeable from the band and later a DJ or canned music. This didn't quiet down til midnight. We were on the 5th floor. We did not visit the on-site restaurant. There are too many choices in an immediate walking distance. It is in a nice area, we went to a SUNS B-Ball game at the PHX Center across the street. There is a Fry's supermarket just a few steps down the block with a Starbucks. Did I mention restaurants and bars all around this area? You could stay a week and not try all the ones in walking distance. We felt safe walking around, as there are a ton of people in the area and PD presence. The street running tram/trolley runs right in front.

The room was clean but the vinyl upholstery was flaking off the chair fabric. All of the staff interactions were great. The morning coffee bar was a winner. The "living room" was a great place to meet. I think this was a bit overpriced, but it was very convenient to the Convention Center.

Positives first, check in was quick and they got us in early. We needed a sewing kit and were sent one right away! Negatives: room had a musty smell, beds were okay. We were woken up by a very strange noice. Come to find out the plumber was working on the room next door, our sink drain baked up with black water. We used the sink, the plumber came knocking and was upset we used the sink. We felt bad because we had no idea what was going on. We didn’t get a heads up at all! We started packing up to go! When we finally left the entire hallway smelt like sewage. It was AWFUL! As we moved through the hotel it got worse, I have no idea what went wrong with their plumbing but we weren’t glad to be checked out!!

This hotel carpet is very dirty, dust in the carpet, in every corner in the room and smells very bad up to the point I stayed a wake until the morning. It's need to upgrade the hotel and change the carpet and even the bathroom needs a lots of work because plumbing and equipment needs to work right Can't sleep from smells, very bad experience

Very convenient location, close to events center and sporting arenas. Plenty of conveniences and dining options in the immediate area. Staff were extremely friendly. Rooms were nice and clean.

The hotel has a stylish lobby with a really cool marble fireplace on the second floor, a nice spot to hang out, and that exits onto a pedestrian walking area. Conveniently, a Frye’s grocery is across the street. There are numerous restaurants just steps away. Chico Malo was wonderful upscale Mexican food, beautiful and delicious. The fourth floor has a lovely pool and a cool rooftop bar. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. It worked out well for attending a convention, only 3 blocks to get there. There is morning coffee on the 2nd floor and throughout the day there was ice water infused with strawberries. My only negative I can think of is that our room’s furnishings, while stylish, were getting worn, the upholstery was peeling off the chairs, but maybe that was just this room. I would stay again.

I’ve stayed here twice, decided by location only. The shower is one of those half glass units, where you’re freezing while showering and water gets all over the floor. Such a dumb design. Also, no coffee in room unless you call them and have a Keurig sent up. That’s dumb too. Probably won’t stay here again for those reasons. Location is awesome though.

The hotel has an excellent location in downtown. The lobby and dining areas are beautiful. It’s the rooms themselves that bring my rating down. They are clean and beds ok. The pillows are feather so they go flat, and the decor of room is old.

The property was a very short walk away from the basketball and baseball venues, as well as the various convention centers. Having the Fry's grocery and pharmacy right across the road is a fantastic added benefit. It gets a little loud with the LRT and music from EDEN/Pool area in the early evening before the time when both go to "quiet mode".

We stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom suite. The floor plan of the suite was almost perfect. There is a long hallway when you enter, which is wasted space but it really helps insulate the room from hallway noise. The living room set up is suitable with a desk, chair, a small sectional, round coffee table, fridge and tv and stand. There is also a nice sized closet with safe and ironing board. The couch is kind of hard and could use some throw pillows (we used our bed pillows). The fridge is a mini bar and snacks fridge. We would have preferred a fridge for our own use entirely. We were able to store a few items in it in any event. (It is not one of those locked mini bars where you get charged a fee just for breaking the seal). The prices weren’t too outrageous. It would have been nice to have an arm chair in the living room as well as the couch but maybe that would be tight. The bedroom is quite large and has a very nice multi purpose dresser that serves also as a tv stand. This has 9 drawers. In addition there was a second closet, including robes and an iron and ironing board. There is a nice chair, lamp, two night tables and a king bed. Our bedroom was in a corner and had two great picture windows. The curtains were very good at blocking the light. The bathroom is long and narrow but includes a rather large wet room (about 10 by 7 feet?)— with a shower and a large soaker tub. From the second we walked in we were greeted in the most courteous way possible. The entire staff were super friendly. My favorite part was how they greeted my 3 girls 🐶🐶🐶. They sent up a doggy bed and bowls up for my girls. The room was beautiful and clean. No complaints whatsoever. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

They kept calling me all morning and knocking on my door they had my room mixed up . Valet guy was super rude and unprofessional he was mad because he didn’t know if my truck would fit in the garage. Kept talking to me in slang words

The hotel itself was great, and so were most of the staff. But we had such an awful experience with Rico checking out that it really soured the end of the weekend for us. He joked that our bags had been picked up by someone else and so were lost, then watched us panic for a good 2 minutes before revealing he was “joking.” Then he was inappropriate with my friend, touching her multiple times on the shoulder, commenting on her eyes and taking her out, then followed us outside as we were leaving to do so again. Travel is stressful enough; what kind of person finds it amusing to cause others distress? The stress of thinking all our belongings were really lost took a year off my life.

Palomar was right in the heart of downtown Phoenix. It was in walkable distance to bars and restaurants. Great amenities like roof top bar and pool. The city view suite was amazing. I will definitely be staying here again.

The location of this hotel is amazing! I have stayed at MANY hotels in downtown and this location is the best. Easy walk to the stadium and convention center, and so many dining options and stores right next to the hotel makes it so convenient. We will be back.

Wonderful boutique hotel across the street from the basketball and concert venue, and from the baseball stadium. Wonderful dining option. Parking was a bit tricky, but downtown Phoenix ambassadors were there to help and it was a breeze after that.

I stayed with a friend to see a concert at Footprint Center. This is right across the street, and we could watch the line to enter the arena from our window. The location could not have been better. The room was nice, had comfortable beds and great blackout curtains. Also the room service was amazing- we had the charcuterie board, calamari and an artichoke pasta with margaritas. Everything was 10/10.
