My first impression of the hotel was the landscaping and rocking chairs on the porch at it's entrance. The lobby has a great seating area with a fireplace and a good amount of seating. The hotel is bigger than it first seemed from the entrance and plenty of parking. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful grounds. Ample & Safe Parking. Quiet location. Close to many stores. Comfortable Beds (but recommend you bring your own pillow). Nice to have windows that opened for cool, fresh air. Very Clean. Great Variety at Breakfast: eggs, sausage, ham, waffles, toast, english muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, coffee, creamers, fruit and condiments. Plenty of space in dining area. Easy check in-out. Only sad thing was I wanted to extend my stay and when I inquired the night before check out, i was quoited full price.. so I reserved another local hotel. But then the morning of checkout, my under the door receipt offered a promo code price that was ~$60 less than I was told the night before..! Had THAT price been given me, I would have stayed There..

We were traveling and only needed a place to stay. Didn’t need shopping, attractions, etc. Country Inn was a pretty hotel, easy to find, and parking close to our room. They had a nice breakfast and the room was clean. Nice sized bathroom. Actually asked the very nice desk clerk if they had other locations, but was disappointed that they did not. Would def stay with them on future travels.

The room was clean enough. We met the woman that was going to clean our room in the hall and she was very professional and told us to have safe travels. I will say that we have stayed there twice now and it is a little musty and the halls smell like Marijuana both times.

Staff was great, bed was comfortable. Only 1 ice machine at front made for a long walk. Stair area in back where we entered consistently smelled of marijuana for 3 days. Overall would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay. Clean room and good service. Our only complaint is the room had two double sized beds. A little tight for my wife and I to sleep on one bed. The breakfast was full of good choices. It could use some more variety of fresh fruit besides just a bananas. Highly recommend the location.

This hotel is very well maintained. The lobby looks very nice, everything is spotlessly clean. Furniture/decor maybe slightly dated but it's homey. Room was spacious. With 2 beds and a comfortable chair and a desk, add there was a fridge and microwave in the room as well. Room very clean. One bed was very firm, the other wasn't as bad and was much more comfortable. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful upon check in. Breakfast had many options from hot food like eggs and sausage and waffles to cold cereal and yogurt. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

I had a room 103 and the heat pump outside my window powered up every 30 seconds . It sounded like it was loosing pressure and every 30 seconds came on to top it up . That is what I listened too all night . So night one wasn’t not good ! Went to front desk explained what happened . Sounded like they had other complaints before about this area . They did offer to move us for night 2 . Felt like night 1 we should have been given a discounted rate for our loss of a nights sleep.

Breakfast (FREE) offered until 9:00AM. Was not able to get to Breakfast eating area until 8:50AM due in part to not arriving until shortly after mid-night. When I arrived at eating area there was nothing available but one egg and one slice of ham. Breakfast should be available as advertised, if it is not then this should be made clear, very disappointing. my wife and I had to leave and look elsewhere for Breakfast.

The gentlemen working at the front desk called me about 2 hours after checking in with him directly, and said there was a situation where someone was there and also trying to check in under my booking, as well as seeing a note that they could see on their end that was put under my booking 3 months prior to my check in date that I did not put myself or call about that said I would not be personally checking in, and gave this person’s name instead. He cleared this up with me before just giving them a key to my room, as there was clearly a mix up and I did not know said person at all, and had already checked in with him earlier. He handled this very well as I was nervous because I wasn’t physically at the hotel at the time of the call, and was very polite and professional about it and apologized for the mixup. I appreciated the fact that he didn’t just assume the note was correct and didn’t give someone else access to my room where my belongings were. I’m unsure of his name now, but kudos to him!

Great and clean smelling , great but I did ask for a shower chair and never got it , try to stand in a shower with one leg and wash see where you end up . I always have that Problem I guess it’s hard to carry that little chair to your room, I will have to try another hotel and see .

The buffet breakfast was amazing. A shout out to the staff for all the hard work involved in its preparation. The room was extremely clean and the staff were all extremely friendly and courteous. The location of the hotel was great for shopping and eating with many restaurants located nearby. I would definitely stay again. Felt like home away from home.

I enjoyed my stay at The Country Inn at the Mall. Wasn’t sure what it would be like but it exceeded my expectations. Very clean and the employees were nice. Location was a bit heavy on traffic but the Bangor City Forest was nearby to get peace and quiet. Hotel had a nice breakfast each day and lots of restaurants nearby (since close to the mall). Applebees nearby stayed open late. Easy access to downtown Bangor and also the U of Maine. Pricing was very reasonable. Will stay here again when in the area.

The staff and property were great. We requested a quiet room bc we had to drive the next day. Everything was great. Then at around 11:30pm some joker started racing around the Walmart parking lot. He would then come back every 15 minutes or so and that went on for hours. No fault of this establishment but unfortunate nonetheless.

We enjoyed the front porch enjoying all the beautiful flowering plants and birds. The hotel was in very good condition, great upkeep, friendly desk folks. Small area for breakfast and there were buses full of guests which made it a bit difficult to find seating and enjoy the food.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable but for some reason it was extremely humid in the room, while the hall outside was not. We had to open the windows to dry the room out each night. This hotel has a lot of bus tour passengers and the breakfast room was extremely crowded for 2/3 of our stay. They ran out of some food the last morning before we got to breakfast around 7:45 am.
