Lovely room. Bathroom and specifically shower was super tiny. It was clean and well located. Luggage storage was available if you get there before check in time and there were staff onsite which was great. They have two apartments they work out of both very close to each other. Disappointed in how the parking situation was advertised. When we searched for locations with parking included this was listed. Parking was not included or available onsite as well as off site like some other places we stayed at. Available in this case meant that you could take your chances finding free parking on the streets somewhere or pay for parking in a relatively nearby lot at $20 Euros a day *no in and out privileges but pay for time. Staff were friendly. Building had an elevator that could handle 2-3 adults and 3 suitcases. wifi was good enough to text only (not even to share photos or use internet) from our room.

We had a 2-floor room, the bed was up a very steep, winding staircase. While ok for us, this would not work for some travelers. There are restaurants/bars right outside our room on Roberto da Bari, and it was very loud at night. Overall, a satisfactory stay, but didn't compare to other rooms we stayed in throughout Italy. There is no breakfast nor any coffee offered with the room.

A nice room with a classical look. The location was ideal for shopping and 10 minute walk into the historic centre. Breakfast not included but there is a cafe just next door where we had a lovely cappuccino and cornetto for only 6 euros total.

The hotel stay was good. However, it was so surprising to find out that the apartment-style room I had did not have an electric kettle which was most inconvenient. On top of this problem, there was no microwave. Also no coffee or tea bags/pouches, sugar, creamer or milk is provided. So you need to bring your own electric kettle, microwave, and tea/coffee!!!!!! I requested an electric kettle or microwave, but for my 4 night stay it was never provided.

Unser Aufenthalt im Zodiacus war sehr angenehm und wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Bloss zwei Dinge möchten wir anführen: Auf dem Balkon lag ein voller Aschenbecher. Was uns aber weit mehr gestört hat, ist, dass die Badtücher täglich gewechselt wurden. Hat Zodiacus kein Umweltbewusstsein? Oder wechselt etwa jemand bei sich zu Hause täglich die Badtücher?

I loved this hotel! Perfect for an Italian city. Beautiful room, with balcony. Nice wood floors but they are a little beat up by careless guests. The only negative would be that the bed is upstairs so it gets warmer up there than on the main floor (heat rises). But that’s not something they can control. Valentina is just precious, a real gem. So friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Excellent location—so close to old town and so many bars, osterias and shops. Can’t say enough about the friendly and very helpful staff. Our room was in the 2nd property which had a lift (thankfully!). Rooms were a little dated and showed some wear and tear but were clean and had good AC, plenty of water pressure in shower, and really cold mini-fridge. Zodiacus was perfect for us, I recommend.

This property is really good in terms of location and the comfort level. Located just next to the main central street connecting the Bari strain/bus station and the old city, it is 7 min walk to each direction. My complaints to this hotel is 1) the WiFi is super slow if ever gets connected and literally during my three nights stay, my iPad probably only managed to connect for a few minutes. My phone also tells it extremely poor WiFi connectivity and 2) the door key is very medieval and needs special twisting trick to open. It is very guest unfriendly!

Zodiacus is a lovey hotel situated very close to the old part of Bari, while still in easy walking distance to the train station. There is fantastic shopping a few blocks away, and endless bistros nearby for culinary exploration. The hotel is clean and neat, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. The management (thank you, Vito!) is friendly, polite and informative, and very quick to respond to queries. I would suggest, however, that the internet service might be improved... We both kept losing online connection with our phones, which was a bit stressful when trying to plan our next travel steps. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it highly. Staying here was a lovely finish to our wonderful time in Italy.

Parken in Bari ist eine Katastrophe. Das Hotel konnte aber nichts dafür. Es zu finden war es schwierig, denn es gibt keine Ausschilderung vom Hotel. Wir kamen am Samstag abends an und es war kein Zuckerlecken einzuchecken. Mit einem gemieteten Auto im Zentrum des Nachtlebens von Bari, Koffer abzugeben und über 1 Stunde nach einer Parklücke bis 1 km entfernt zu suchen.

To be fair, I prefer to book in the city centers so I can walk everywhere. This was a perfect location for that. It was just hard to find as traffic pressures and no signage make you doubt you are in the right place. Then our room was a block away in another building. It was very clean and comfortable. So that's a different experience as no staff in my building. Yet, when we engaged with the staff, they were immediately responsive. I got over the parking challenges quickly... and was able to enjoy Bari because of this convenient location.
