The in was historic and was a very pretty adobe building. However, there are about 20 steps which you have to drag your luggage up to get to the inn, then we were on the 2nd floor, which meant carrying luggage up another flight of stairs - not a fun experience. Breakfast was made to order.

This is a lovely, quiet property not far from the center of town. My wife has mobility challenges, so the innkeeper directed us to an accessible spot in the rear. The owner is a savvy woman who has traveled extensively and knows about what makes a tourism driven town run. We spent most of our time taking in museums and the natural beauty of the area. Each evening though, after dinner, we retreated to the inn to sit in the common area for a cup of tea and to peruse her collection of coffee table art books. Highly recommend.

The Inn on La Loma is beautiful! The grounds and landscaping are full of flowers, the breakfast sunroom is bright with many potted plants, and our room was cheery and sooo comfortable! Peggy (the owner) helped me choose the room, and she chose well. We were walking distance from stores in the Plaza as well.

Residence is fantastic, along with the grounds makes for a magical moment. Staff very thoughtful and attentive. Property close to Taos main Square. Gourmet breakfast an additional plus. Really nothing to dislike.

This historic Inn is a great find. Beautifully curated by its charming hostess. Our room was warm and welcoming with radiant floors and a steam shower. Every detail and need was thoughtfully provided. The gourmet, made to order breakfast was a wonderful treat. The Inn is located a few blocks from the Taos Square in a quiet residential neighborhood with free parking on site. Highly recommend this place to stay for your Taos vacation.

We really enjoyed staying here - it was convenient, clean and cute. Each room is different. The owners were super nice and worked hard to make sure every guest had a nice stay. A bonus is their springer spaniel, Winston, who helps show you around the property. Would gladly stay again.

This is an historic property and is unique and lovely in that respect. However, a few modernizations could help; a new shower head for example. The shower tile grout was very dirty. The person that checked us in seemed like he didn't really want to be there. No ice machine. Breakfast was great!

Very nice historical place to stay. Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds with Adobe fireplace, nice amenities in room, fabulous made to order hearty breakfast. Peggy warmly welcome us and was a fabulous host. If I'm ever in that area of New Mexico I will definitely stay again. Thank you Peggy!

Beautiful historic Inn! Peggy is a superb hostess and makes a fantastic breakfast! Everything was clean and neat. We stayed in the Sunburst room and loved the fireplace. Winston the Inn dog was super sweet. We stayed in the winter and definitely want to come back in the summer to enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Nice clean older property. Bed and furniture good. Need some finishing work as some windows wouldn’t open and trim, etc needs attention. Basically pretty nice but for me wasn’t really worth $400 per night.

The site is excellent but w had problem with our shower on the morning: there was no hot water at all. We complained at reception but nothing besides a possible explanation for what happened. I believe we deserved a part return of our stay as a compensation for that. What you expect when staying at a four star hotel? At least a nice shower…

Immediately before staying for 3 nights at La Loma, I had stayed at Monte Sagrado, and the price/quality ratio was vastly superior at La Loma. Aside from all the personal touches (including, for example, a personally tailored breakfast menu every morning), the inn had many surprises of charm that one rarely sees anymore, anywhere. For example, my room had a traditional pueblo-style fireplace (kiva) with firewood and matches that got replenished every morning. I travel a ton throughout the world (for both work and pleasure) and don’t recall ever seeing an actual working fireplace (with real wood) anywhere, so that was fun and different. Further, the architecture and appointments of the inn were phenomenal, and the innkeeper Peggy Davis, is genial, smart, and knowledgeable. All in all a great experience. La Loma will definitely be my go-to whenever I go back to Taos.

I loved the environment and the aesthetics. But would have wished my bathroom did not have steps. To enter and the living room locked until 7:00am. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Website says queen bed but it is actually a full size bed and the mattress is too soft which makes my back and knees uncomfortable. Tv is small and had to see up closer and no volume increase (only up to volume 3) Paper says fireplace in use starting Oct. Disappoint that fireplace not available in use. Bathtub is kind of in a awarkard position. Faucet in sink is loose. Full breakfast was a bit disappointing.. tiny cinnamon roll in one bite, no banana bread as requested on paper, forgot to put down for egg casserole as thats what we want and the cook said we cant have it but I mentioned that we would like to have it as I forgot to check that part. She didnt give us the rest of the food as i had to remind her where is the bagel/cream cheese as requested. Not very good service. Coffee was lukewarm, milk was given in about half a cup size. Oh well.. location is beautiful out there, didnt have a chance to walk the grounds as it was chilly that late evening.

Quaint, historic, beautiful, unique, calming, friendly and awesome. These words don't fully describe the property but will give you an idea. HIGHLY recommend. Breakfast was tailored to each person and was excellent. You won't be disappointed!

We had an absolutely lovely stay. Check in was a breeze and the room (complete with kiva fireplace!) was perfect! The breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The corn soufflé was delicious and we even got a copy of the recipe. Highly recommended!
