Needed a place to crash before our flight and was interested in staying in a more lively area of Athens. We chose O&B for location, star rating and price. First, this is not a 4 star hotel. The amenities, aesthetics and service are just not there. It is however a decent 3 star hotel. Room was clean and had a great view from the balcony. The staff was pleasant and arranged for our cab to the airport. Our room was ready early which was a nice surprise. Although the area was great for nightlife, the street the hotel was on was unpleasant to say the least. I was a little shocked and I am a native New Yorker that is old enough to remember early 1990s NYC. The breakfast was meh. Again, not even close to 4-star standards. Room service was extremely limited.

Chose the place in part because it had a restaurant on premises and it was closed, I should have been informed at the time of booking. Those details are important. The hotel is outdated, didn’t like the area. Not very service oriented.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located close to attractions & transportation. The on site restaurant is great! The view of the Acropolis from our balcony was the perfect way to end a long day of sight seeing. Wonderful rooms and ice cold air conditioner. Would love to stay here again!

The staff at the hotel were very accommodating. The wi-fi on the other hand was horribe. I day trade and had to keep going to fairytale restaurant few feet away to use their wifi. Rooms were clean and hotel gets locked after hours for security purposes with front desk staff there at all times to let you in. Breakfast was really good with coffee and cappuccino made to order. Great unexpected addition as I am a heavy coffee drinker! Thank you girls for all the delicious coffee and cocktails;)

Small, friendly hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the main attractions and shopping. Staff efficient. Breakfast buffet nice. Room overlooked the main road but double glazing meant no traffic noise to worry about. Air con worked well. Looked after our luggage on our last day until we left for the airport. Be aware, although there is a small bar area (which we didn't use), there isn't really a communal lounge area. However, I would recommend for a city break for a few days.

We loved the location of O&B to all the historical sites in Athens. The air conditioning was broken when we checked in and was never fixed during our entire stay. We checked in multiple times with the staff who claimed they were working on the problem; however, it never was fixed. We were very disappointed in how the situation was handled. Other than that one problem the hotel was nice and clean.

Great hotel with an amazing view of the Acropolis/Parthenon. The rooms are a little dated but fairly clean and convenient. Breakfast was great with friendly and helpful staff. The area is a little sketchy with run down buildings directly across. Best part about the hotel is the amazing view of the Parthenon directly from your bed. Overall good property with good amenities.

TV ohne Programme. Kühlschrank nur warm statt kalt, nutzlos. Klimaanlage schwierig zu bedienen. Nachlässiger Zimmerservice. Kaffee wurde nach einmal Verwendung nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Waschbecken im Bad ein Witz! Checkout absolut unfreundlich. Lage top. Riesiger Balkon und Zimmerfenster mit fantastischer Blick auf Akropolis. Personal teilweise sehr nett. Frühstück gut.

Our room (#24) had a perfect, full on view of the Acropolis and a terrace. Book this room! For a one week stay, the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had variety of options and staff was eager to please. Downside? Bathroom. Small, literally no counter space, and desperately in need of a refresh. Also little storage space in room (no dresser or luggage rack and small wardrobe.) but the view!!!

The location is great. Breakfast was good from a self-service perspective but the staff were inattentive unless you were with a family. The front desk staff were quite helpful however. The room with the view of the acropolis wasn’t quite what I expected, as the view was off to a side and not directly as shown in the hotel photos. Also, it was very noisy - the water pipes from other rooms and people outside sounded like they were in your room as no soundproofing and thin doors and walls.

The hotel was in a great location to see some of the main sites in Athens. It was also 7 minutes from the metro and we were able to get to the airport and back with out having to pay a taxi. It was easy to do with luggage. There were many restaurants and shops nearby plus the Acropolis and surrounding historic sites and museums. The staff were so friendly and we were also able to keep our luggage there after check out which was so convenient for us. The breakfast was also very good and so nice to be included with the stay. Our beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

Nothing but praise for this hotel. Location is just away from the main street so it's quiet, but it's still in the middle of the city and all the attractions. The room was exactly like the pictures and quite comfortable. Most importantly, the property manager was extremely attentive, accommodating, and prompt in addressing any issues I had during my stay. He and the staff alone represented some of the best customer service I've ever had, and this is one of the many reasons I would stay at this hotel again.

We booked two rooms at the O&B Athens boutique hotel, Greece from 18-24 Jan and must say, we're most disappointed with the hotel and services. HOTEL: We booked a) Grand Suite (Acropolis view) and b) Basic Suite (Acropolis view): 1. The flooring is very old and badly stained. 2. The balcony door is chipped and pieces are falling out. 3. The Espresso coffee maker was lying unconnected and we had to figure the connection ourselves. 4. The Living room Venetian blind was not locking at the top and was left hanging downwards for over 3 days until I had to ask the receptionist to fix it (which he did in 5 mins). 5. The balcony was never cleaned and the chairs were left displaced always. 6. The buffet breakfast was the same every morning and while the restaurant service staff were eager to please, the same items daily, are a put off and can get quite boring. Freshly made items are not offered and one has to make do with items lying on the buffet since 0700h. SERVICES: There is an overall attitude of saying "No" to most things one asks for. We felt this emanates from the top. Except for a couple of servers in the restaurant and housekeeping, we found the front desk team especially very negative.

HOTEL: We booked a) Grand Suite (Acropolis view) and b) Basic Suite (Acropolis view): 1. The flooring is very old and badly stained. 2. The balcony door is chipped and pieces are falling out. 3. The Espresso coffee maker was lying unconnected and we had to figure the connection ourselves. 4. The Living room Venetian blind was not locking at the top and was left hanging downwards for over 3 days until I had to ask the receptionist to fix it (which he did in 5 mins). 5. The balcony was never cleaned and the chairs were left displaced always. 6. The buffet breakfast was the same every morning and while the restaurant service staff were eager to please, the same items daily, are a put off and can get quite boring. Freshly made items are not offered and one has to make do with items lying on the buffet since 0700h. SERVICES: There is an overall attitude of saying "No" to most things one asks for. We felt this emanates from the top. Except for a couple of servers in the restaurant and housekeeping, we found the front desk team especially very negative.

Friendly staff. Clean modern room. Has air conditioning and elevator. Wifi in area is weak no matter where you stay. Nice variety of local and western food for breakfast which is included. Hotel was in excellent location within walking distance to main sites and shopping. Staff was helpful and always available to answer questions or provide recommendations. Front desk staff was great especially Demetrius we enjoyed many conversations with him. The breakfast was good.

The hotel was in a great location to see some of the main sites in Athens. It was also 7 minutes from the metro and we were able to get to the airport and back with out having to pay a taxi. It was easy to do with luggage. There were many restaurants and shops nearby plus the Acropolis and surrounding historic sites and museums. The staff were so friendly and we were also able to keep our luggage there after check out which was so convenient for us. The breakfast was also very good and so nice to be included with the stay. Our beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

On a quiet street. Breakfast buffet has many offerings and we loved it!! The staff were all so friendly. So close to Monastiraki Square and rhe acropolis, as well as a bunch of.great restaurants and the market. Loved it here!

The hotel and staff were very nice with an amazing balcony view of the acropolis. It was walkable to everything we wanted to do. It was very loud at night on the weekend with people partying in the street until all hours. The building across the street is abandoned so there was a number of homeless people. The area at night is not very safe so we just made sure we were back before dark.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located close to attractions & transportation. The on site restaurant is great! The view of the Acropolis from our balcony was the perfect way to end a long day of sight seeing. Wonderful rooms and ice cold air conditioner. Would love to stay here again!

O&B is at the end of Ermou close to the Agora with many restaurants and bars nearby. Room was fine, good sexed bathroom. Effective air con even with a heatwave. Friendly and efficient staff. Only negative was a below average breakfast. Cold fried eggs every day, small fruit selection, no yogurt, nothing that looked appetising.

The room was very clean and good sized. The breakfast was so delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is located right in the downtown of Athens close to everything that you would want to see. The bed is very firm if you like that. We could see the acropolis from our very large balcony.

Wir haben uns aufgrund der hohen Gästebewertung für das O&B entschieden, die auf keinen Fall gerechtfertigt ist. Das Hotel ist schlicht fürchterlich! Das Zimmer war lieblos eingerichtet. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr schlicht. Das Restaurant zum Frühstück atmospärisch grauenhaft. Der Service unterirdisch und die Küche eine Katastrophe. Das Frühstück à la carte hat ewig gedauert und die Eierspeisen wurden eher kalt serviert, wie auch das Toast!

Super close to all major transportation, and site seeing options. Made it very convenient to quickly stop in and rest before our next activity. Also the breakfast was amazing!

Very friendly staff who welcomed us and helped us with all our questions. Didn’t expect the breakfast to have as much variety but had enough to choose from. Very close to Monasteraki square.. It was clean property. Hotels staff was nice and rhe breakfast was amazing. Only thing was that the room was a bit smaller than expected but I guess in the heart of the city, the properties are not too big.

Centrally located property but still quiet enough to sleep. Delicious healthy breakfast included. The staff was friendly and there were freshly made lattes every morning. Our room was spacious enough for two to sleep comfortably. Beds were great. Air was cold. Our room had a lovely balcony large enough for a table and chairs to enjoy coffee with a view of the Parthenon. Would definitely stay here again! Outstanding
