Upon checking in I was not told the pool was out of service. We booked the hotel for the free breakfast and the pool. Was told the pool would be open Saturday morning, it did not open until four pm the next day. If we would have known we would have stayed elsewhere, as we were there for our daughters birthday.

Almost everything was great at this property. The only, somewhat negative comment I have is, too much chlorine in the pool and hot tub. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and we experienced this issue the first time as well. The fumes caused our eyes to burn slightly, and my grandchildren experienced some coughing.

Nothing is more frustrating than choosing a hotel carefully based on amenities and then finding out they are not available when you arrive. Picked this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub, but they were not working during our stay. Furthermore, there was zero cell service in our room. WiFi was ok, but couldn't make any calls. Stains all over the hallway carpet. Front desk staff very nice and welcoming but definitely would not stay again.

The beds were clean and comfortable. The room was in a bit unkept rough shape though. The wallpaper was peeling off along the seams, the back of the bathroom door was bubbled from moisture and so on. The breakfast area was ok, it only had 1 waffle maker so there was a long line up to get a waffle. A pleasant stay, just very pricey for the quality the night we stayed IMO. It was frustrating as we booked for 5 people that our room did not have a pull out couch or 5th sleeping spot, but the hotel was quick to bring a cot for us. It would be a problem if no cots were available tho, as why pay for 5 people if the most basic item- a bed is not included/ guaranteed for each person.

I would give the hotel 5 stars if it weren't for the doors that slam by design. Please fix this! I was kept awake, and woken up due to this. Even if I wasn't kept awake, it would still be unnecessary noise. I had to laugh at the sign that said 'quiet hours 10pm..' when your hotel's design is a major violator.

Helpful, kind workers and a clean room/hotel! Loved the text option where they contact you and you can ask questions during your stay with a prompt response. The only issues I saw was that the door on the side of the building get in can be sticky and you have to pull hard to get back in and the parking lot has lots of very bad potholes. Other than that we had a very nice stay.

We arrived at midnight and it took 30 minutes for the night employee to come to the counter even after we called the front desk repeatedly. It was so odd and unsafe that we almost called the local police incase there was something that had happened to the staff member. We were then shocked with the unapologetic rude female that checked us in, this was the worst customer service we have ever seen. We made a formal complaint and we are not fussy travellers.

It was fine. The property was clean, and met expectations from that perspective. Location was good for what I needed it to be, and the staff was friendly. My only complaint was as that I asked for airport transportation assistance 2x and nobody gave me an answer either way. I was worried beacuse uber and Lyft can be scarce in Bangor. I ended up figuring it out myself by pre booking a Lyft-(and I had a back up plan in case). The hotel could had done a better job with a shuttle answer or giving me direction on what to do.

Experienced a broken toilet at 1015 pm called down to front desk and was told the gentleman would be right up. After 45 minutes called back a second time and was told by same gentleman “oh ok just a minute” and the line went dead. Called a third time to the same person who said “ I am the only person here and I can’t come up and fix a broken toilet.” It would have been nice to know that initially because I was then told that my only option was to move rooms at 11pm. The gentleman told me he could not bring me a key and instead I had to pack all my bags and come down to front desk to get a new key. When I went to the front desk I was given a key by a female who gave me a key for the room right next door to my original room. Therefore, the fact that there was at least one male and one female on property that could have delivered me a key to avoid me walking to the lobby in my pajamas to just go right back upstairs was very disappointing. There was clear lack of customer service and lack of clear communication and transparency. It’s a shame because I have stayed at this property before and now will go right across the street and stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Definitely have lost a customer

We have a great stay. The only negatives we had were that the hot tub was closed in the middle of the day on Saturday for maintenance, which we assumed were cleaning because jets were still running. I called about pool hours once and the person at the reception’s desk was not very nice and hung up with phone before I was done speaking. The day of check out we swam from 9:00-9:30 and when we came back, house keeping was standing in our room trying to clean even though we had not checked out and it was 9:30. I told them we had not checked out yet and that we needed to change and we’d be out of there. We changed and packed up and they were still outside our door and said “you’re checking out right?”? we felt like that was rude considering it was 9:40 at this point and felt very rushed.

Staff were pleasant and helpful at our 10pm arrival. Room was spacious and clean. A cot was delivered within minutes of request. Breakfast had a decent assortment of choices and coffee was fresh. Well done Hampton Inn as usual.

Breakfast was less than impressive. Eggs and potatoes had peppers in them. Plain eggs and plain potatoes would cover a bigger customer base. How many kids like peppers in their eggs really?

My stay was pleasant and without incident. The facility was quiet, clean and there was plenty of parking. The front desk agent was kind and efficient; check in and out was a breeze. The room was very nice, clean and stocked with lots of towels. The complimentary breakfast was really good and the coffee was excellent. The hotel had a 15% off coupon for Kobe Ninja Steakhouse. This was the first time I had ever gone to a steak house and the food was so bad. We were not pleased with the food and the service could’ve been better. I would suggest going to one of the other restaurants in the area. Other than dinner, my stay was great and definitely would stay again and recommend them to friends and family.

Hampton Inn for the win again!!! This is an incredibly nice hotel! The beds are super comfy with white sheets, clean and bug free and the pillows are fluffy but firm enough to hold my head, thank goodness! The room they put us in is HUGE! The bathroom is huge and nice and it's so clean! This entire place is clean. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. They made chocolate chip cookies for the guests tonight. Edit - Check out this morning was easy, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. I do wish they had just plain scrambled eggs instead of omelets, but that's a very minor thing. They could have had fresher bananas, but that may have been beyond their control. I would also maybe keep the yogurt colder...mine was warm and warm yogurt is not very good lol but those things still are all very minor things for such a great, clean hotel with nice people.

The hotel was good. The only reason for me not giving the highest overall rating was that the choices for breakfast for me (vegetarian) were limited. On some days all the savory food had meat in it. We brought our pet dog with us, and we had no problem with that. The staff was courteous and helpful, whenever we interacted with them.
