You feel like you’re in a resort out in the Hill Country but you’re in Austin at The Domain! Very cool retro vibe. Great happy hour and food! Everyone has been so nice! Live music on Saturday. Nice pool.

Cute rustic decor, huge property with potential seating options. Many of the outdoor features were roped off and/or under construction which was disappointing. Very friendly staff.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The amenities were great as well. They offer complimentary drink upon check in, they have a fully stocked fridge in the room and the prices weren’t terrible. The pool is nice, but it would be great if there was a couple more chairs or loungers in the pool area. Other than that, the service was great and I am over all happy with everything.

Overall it was great, but paying for non-valet parking was dumb. The service at the restaurant at breakfast was slow. They seemed to be understaffed. We’ll be back for sure though!

The staff is welcoming and helpful. I stay here every time I visit austin - it’s close to a lot of fun, they have live music some nights, and lots of outdoor space to hang.

Very unique boutique motel. Choose a room downstairs with the walkout to the pool & outdoor bar area. Rated 4 stars for these minor complaints; the rooms seemed super humid, outdoor bar closed too early at 9pm (started packing up at 8:30), no pool service (towels were gone at one point), and menu at the restaurant was pretty limited. Every interaction with staff was amazing.

The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board was the smell of the cleaning products when I got to the room. It was so strong that it stung my nose and throat. Other than that, the place was great.

Appreciated the complimentary beverage at check-in. The room had a strong mildew smell when we walked in and was not as nice as the pictures led us to believe. I suppose the quality is commensurate with the price.

We've been staying here for years whenever we come to Austin, however it's beginning to show its age. The a/c unit made horrific noises in the ceiling. There were large water roaches in the room. The mattress and pillows had no life in them. I don't need a firm bed, but some support would be nice. The worst is you now have to pay $25 a night for outdoor self parking which is not mentioned. they used to give hang tags in your car to show you were staying at the hotel since the area has a busy nightlife and parking is a premium but now everyone has to pay.

Just stayed 2 nights at the Valencia, chosen for its location. While the location did not disappoint, nearly everything else did. The bathrooms have shear windows that can clearly be seen into from the outside. The room has concrete floors and was dirty when we arrived. The bathroom had mud, dirt and grime clearly visible on the floor. We felt the need to wear shoes at all times. And while I may have dealt with concrete floors as an "Austin quirk," the insane extra charges on my second invoice was something I think everyone should know. The room has a fridge stocked with mini bar items, and a platter of excessively priced candy and chips. We touched nothing, I was careful not to even move the $4 reeces candy. I did notice some gaps in shelving, but assumed the room had been inventoried prior to our check in. However, it seems like the floors, it was another neglected task they tried to charge us for AFTER we left, on a second invoice. Over $100 of mini bar items! Insane. I called to get this removed from my bill and will never stay here again.

Front desk ladies and the bar people were outstanding! Some areas of the room needs to be clean (caulk) properly, forgot my toothpaste and charger and couldn’t find any! It would be clever if they had some for sell. Woke up to a huge cockroach and told the front desk and they kindly offered me a drink, same as they do when you arrive. I would deff come back but for it being such a high rated property it can be improved

Really cute hotel overall - the fun retro style and vibe attracted me to book this place. But it looks much more appealing on paper than in reality. The beds are small and uncomfortable, as are the linens, and the space just didn’t feel clean.

Everyone in the complex was amazing. From the lobby staff, to the guest services, room service and the restaurant staff every one of them was amazingly friendly. Hotel is amazing, my room was amazing. Pillows could use some work, bed can be updated s little but everything was comfy, AC is silent which is a first, and the hotel scent is hypnotic and great. Will definitely be back. Location is great, next time Im jumping into the pool.

Loved the large courtyard with trees,lawn, firepits, pool, and the intimate nature of the rooms all facing into the courtyard with big porches wrapping around & rocking chairs. Nice ambiance at the restaurant/bar with lots of outdoor seating around the property. Nice rooms with large bathrooms & shower. Comfy beds & pillows.

Interesting hotel. Good location for NW Austin. The Domain. Nice pool and grounds. Rooms are large and clean but kind of odd. I don't get the SMEG refrigerator in the room. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed and linens.

This was the best hotel on my trip. Great atmosphere and great area! I would definitely come here again! They succeeded not only with awesome service but in every detail, colors, furnishing and lighting as well as capturing the Texas vibe. I am just so impressed!

What a fun hotel. The room was very comfortable. Just be aware that the room is stocked with alcohol. I didn’t realize this. I was with a recovering alcoholic. It was kind of a rough situation having it right there. So just be aware if you’re with or are a recovering alcoholic or have teens with you that may or may not sneak things. They also offered us a beer at check in. Which was awesome! But not in the company I was with. That was on me for not realizing it. But it was a really fun place. And aside from the stocked refrigerator that was undoubtedly a stressor on my companion, the room was really great! We both really loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lonestar Court. They’ve thought of just about everything and offer many more amenity options than pricier hotels up the street. My only knock is that the water in the shower only got to lukewarm, not hot. Despite that, there were many more positives and we’d come back again!

On day 1 it was hot and we needed AC. It originally worked and within an hour quit working. When ai called and reported it I was advised that it would be fixed in about an hour. An hour later, they called and said the service person was not there and that it would be another hour. It never got fixed. The next day the temperatures dropped and we needed the heater and that also did not work. I ended up checking out early in the morning so I can get some warmth.

This was a great place to stay. Only had two complaints. The walls are thin so it can be a little loud with road noise or if anyone is in the courtyard at night and the staff at the water trough isn’t very friendly. They should take notes from the front desk. The front desk staff rocked. Very helpful and very welcoming. We will def be back next time we go to Austin.

Amazing overall experience except the bald night shift receptionist is the worst staff I encountered all trip, just horrible. Asked him politely for some items and he refused even though we still had some time before quiet hours, I flew my mother in law from Mexico and we were only there for 2 nights so definitely limited our experience just because he “felt like it” other than him everything in my stay was perfect.

I have an Executive Board meeting that brings me to Austin on a reoccurring basis. Since my very first stay a few years ago, I’ve fallen completely in love with this incredibly authentic retro hotel! I’ve stayed at a number of hotels in Austin over the years, but Lonestar Court ranks superiorly high on my list! And that says a lot when I have enough points to stay at an alternative really nice hotel for free and choose to stay at Lone Star Court and pay out of pocket! The location couldn’t be any better, as it’s central to wonderful shopping, dining, and entertainment! Speaking of entertainment, I’ve been able to catch some very good live performances at their restaurant/bar The Water Trough. The fire pits and s’mores are a must do! But, probably one of my favorite things is sitting on the patio and rocking in my orange rocking chair! I highly recommend that you stay a while and if you get a chance, take a dip in the pool and check out the awesome food trucks just outside the gates of the hotel. While there, don’t forget to ask for Drew!

I booked two rooms with double beds. When I checked in we were told those rooms were not available and “it’s Expedia or a third parties fault.” He offered the king with a couch, then the manager quickly jumped in and offered the roll away bed. We agreed only because it was 9pm, we were not going to get anything else. We booked two rooms to celebrate my son’s graduation and so it was a bummer we had to sleep on couches and roll away beds. Just tacky and uncomfortable. The manger gave us breakfast coupons and when the beds were delivered they set them up and made the beds very nicely. The grounds are nice the rooms are very clean, it was almost great.

This place was awesome! Very clean and fun atmosphere. The rooms had a lot of character and had really comfortable beds. The bathrooms were great and had the best smelling soaps and shampoos. Manager, Leon, and all the staff were friendly, personable, and helpful. Any time we asked about the area, they were helpful with directions and recommendations. The location is perfect and you’re able to walk to so many shops, restaurants, coffee houses, and salons. I would stay here again!

Just stayed 2 nights at the Valencia, chosen for its location. While the location did not disappoint, nearly everything else did. The bathrooms have shear windows that can clearly be seen into from the outside. The room has concrete floors and was dirty when we arrived. The bathroom had mud, dirt and grime clearly visible on the floor. We felt the need to wear shoes at all times. And while I may have dealt with concrete floors as an "Austin quirk," the insane extra charges on my second invoice was something I think everyone should know. The room has a fridge stocked with mini bar items, and a platter of excessively priced candy and chips. We touched nothing, I was careful not to even move the $4 reeces candy. I did notice some gaps in shelving, but assumed the room had been inventoried prior to our check in. I called to get this removed from my bill and will never stay here again.

This is our go to place to stay in Austin, we have stayed here four times. The conditions and service are often hit or miss. One time we stayed at the room had a very distinct mold smell and a wet ceiling, brought it to their attention and they nothing and didn’t offer to move rooms…sometimes I have had really pleasant interactions with the staff and other times they can’t be bothered. But the overall laid back/homey feeling to the whole place keeps us coming back. Food and drinks at the hotel are expensive IMO. Parking situation is not great and it is sometimes difficult to get in and out of the location. It has is distinctly hipster Texas vibe. Watch pricing and always book refundable because their prices can change drastically at the drop of a hat.

I have never stayed with Lone Star Court before but it was a very unique experience due to the retro-modern design of the hotel. I loved it! The location in The Domain is also very convenient and close to everything.

Really nice. It was perfect walking distance to Q2 stadium for a concert we were attending. Friendly staff. Lots of shops nearby and an easy drive to downtown and south Austin. We don’t have kids, but it was family friendly a few families with kids staying. Great for all travelers. Clean, quiet, and we would def stay again.

This hotel is phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hung out at the Water Trough and had dinner. The ambience is amazing in there. Once we finished dinner, we sat in the courtyard by the fire pits playing Jenga. The room was fantastic and well stocked. No detail was missed. We will definitely be back and look forward to visiting other Valencia properties.

Very unique boutique motel. Choose a room downstairs with the walkout to the pool & outdoor bar area. Rated 4 stars for these minor complaints; the rooms seemed super humid, outdoor bar closed too early at 9pm (started packing up at 8:30), no pool service (towels were gone at one point), and menu at the restaurant was pretty limited. Every interaction with staff was amazing.

This was a great place to stay. Only had two complaints. The walls are thin so it can be a little loud with road noise or if anyone is in the courtyard at night and the staff at the water trough isn’t very friendly. The Lone Star Court was a wonderful find! From its “retro” vibe to the helpful staff, our one night visit was fun and comfortable. Great location in The Domain-not too close to all the noise and traffic-easy to find and great parking! We will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Austin!
