Best of the best for sure. I will definitely be staying at this hotel for any future stays! Only downfall is that parking is awful and far , but this is a problem for most hotels in the area

muy ordenado y limpio, el personal siempre fue muy amable, la única desventaja es el estacionamiento ya que es un hotel que esta relativamente en el centro de la ciudad que esta excelente, pero el estacionamiento esta a 10 min en coche, estaría perfecto un servicio de valet parking porque para llegar tienes que buscar estacionamiento para después dirigirte con tus maletas al hotel. El yacuzzi y alberca muy bonito solo agregaría que ojalá estuviera mas caliente el agua.

My partner and I stayed in a suite looking out onto the tunnels, which was a pleasant view and it was not noisy. We both received massages which we definitely would recommend.

Nice little Hotel. Great location and employees are really nice and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the Jacuzzi wasn't really hot. To my understanding both the swimming pool and the hot tub at this Hotel can be heated but they weren't not sure if it wasn't working or room temperature is all they can do. Regardless giving it 5 stars.

Nice clean hotel in downtown Guanajuato. As every other hotel in downtown, there’s no parking on site so you have to take a taxi and pay to be taken to your car every time you need to use it (15 minutes one way).

The stay was wonderful and staff very polite. The room does not look like what is shown on images. The room smelt like sewer water and there was a cockroach in the shower the day we arrived. But other than that the stay was okay.

The hotel has a great location and is very interesting architecturally. The staff were not very friendly, there wasn’t hot water, they didn’t want to honor the breakfast included deal offered with discounted price thru Hotels and the room wreaked of cleaning chemicals. The breakfast was mostly delicious and it was lovely to have a pool although it was very dark and luke warm.

Loved the atmosphere…hated the air conditioner in the room which when operating had a constant drip onto wooden floors, soaking both floors and area rug…told front desk, no repair made during my stay…not so boutique as advertised.

Location is ideal for exploring central Guanajuato. I had a room that was just like the Expedia pictures, it looked onto the central atrium, and was very quiet. the staff were very helpful, especially when my onward ride was two hours late.

Top choice to stay in Guanajuato City, GTO! The Edelmira was clean, updated, centrally located and with a fabulous breakfast and meal mid and evening meal options. The center of everything “touristy” takes place just outside the doors of this hotel. The staff was responsive, checkin/out was effortless, Overall, I highly recommend the Edelmira for a stay in Guanajuato City.

Reception gave us four different rates for the same room. The man that helped us at the counter was rude and dishonest. He started with a really high rate and went down from there and even his lowest price didn’t beat Expedia’s pricing. I had to book through Expedia while I was there waiting with my whole family. After I booked through Expedia he was very rude and obviously upset about the outcome. As a VIP member, we get a free welcome beverage he didn’t give us our beverage and it wasn’t offered. Very disappointed that this incident ruined my perspective about the property and our stay. There are many other places that are very nice to stay at nearby. However we chose this property because the kids were tired. Otherwise, I would’ve kept looking because I do not like giving my business to these kind companies. Beware on the prices given in person as they are not accurate and they will try to get the most they could get.

The room in this hotel was fine. Well maintained, large and a great mattress However our room was next door to a nightclub which pumped out dance music until 03:00 each night (except Mondays) making sleep impossible. If you ignore this review and stay, get a room on left hand side of reception, all rooms on right (the lift side) abut the club The service also left something to be desired. Nothing was easy for reception staff who seemed to resent having to talk to guests from behind their plastic screen. Finally, public areas are really dull - the terrace is covered over, the restaurant looks like a school canteen and the ground floor bar seemed closed down. Guanajuato is a great place to visit, so do yourself a favour and look elsewhere, there are some characterful hotels elsewhere in town.

I liked that the property was so convenient and walking distance from where we had planned to go very clean hotel only thing I did not like the check in the staff at the front don't welcome you very serious and rude staff during the check in or when walking in the only friendly people there was the cleaning ladys there and the guy who helped us with our luggage to our room he was a very friendly guy with glasses light complected ... Other than that I loved the stay.
