Beautiful history property that has been wonderfully maintained. Front desk staff were welcoming and pleasant. The valet staff was not helpful at check-in and didn't even open the door for us as we tried to pull our luggage through the entrance doors with pouring rain. The valet at check-out was absolutely wonderful and even loaded our luggage into my car. The room was spacious and very quiet even though we were located immediately off the elevators. I would definitely stay there again!

the hotel was great. Valeting the car was poor. It's a third-party service without enough help in prime time. Given the valet fee and where the cost for where the car was parked, there was a big enough gap to have more than one person. Loved the hotel but the valet might discourage me from staying there again.

Check in staff was great. Room was very nice, cleanliness was questionable. Razor in the shower, hair on the floor of bathroom. I know staff can be overworked as not many people want to work anymore, but when things are visible, it makes me wonder about sheets and carpet cleanliness.

First time visiting Milwaukee, we had come up for the Harley Davidson festival. Upon check in I had dealt with a younger male who was polite but lacked customer service skills. Housekeeping staff I dealt with were super friendly, front desk manager always smiling and making you feel welcomed ,attentive and accommodating she’s a keeper . Night audit lady was also very friendly and kind. VIP was Vince from valet I know it’s a contracted company but he always welcomed you and was very professional with his role . Lastly , the rooms are slightly outdated. I know the week I stayed was a premium due to the festival . But I had to switch rooms not once but twice . First being black mold growing along the tub surround and the second room was just because the fridge was broken. It was frustrating and inconvenient after unpacking several times. The nice night audit accompanied us with a free breakfast vocuher for the inconvenience which was very kind. Rooms are clean which is great. But showers need upgrade in my honest opinion . Overal experience was good , I would not stay there again for the price that I paid . It would have been nice to have been upgraded or some sort of discount for the inconvenience of moving rooms multiple times, but did recieve breakfast which was 55$USD VALUE . Key in I had spent $1533.00CAD for 3 nights and 2 queen bed room .

The showers were pretty gross- lots of spots with mold that were easy to see. We had a bad experience in the morning- when I checked in I was told the free breakfast would be available 6am-10am. Since the hotel is connected to a restaurant it wasn’t clear that the buffet was not free until I happened to see it was $16.95 on a menu when I was looking for a drink. It was only then, and after we had gotten our food, that we saw it on a sign. I thought maybe the cost was for non hotel guests but wanted to be sure. I asked one of the servers and she told me it was only free if we had vouchers. When I went to the front desk to ask about that the person at the front desk said we did not have any vouchers. When I said that it was confusing because the person the previous day clearly said it was free, she told me “the nicer the hotel you stay in the less free things you get”. It was said in a pretty condescending tone. My partner and I have stayed in Hiltons before and definitely had complimentary breakfasts, and I wouldn’t even consider this location one of the nicer ones. The quality of the food was not worth it to either of us to pay $17 for- watery cold eggs, soggy bacon, undercooked pastries, etc. When my partner went to see if there was any compromise, the staff was very rude to him. They ended up giving us vouchers, but were very cold the rest of the time we were there. I’ve never had an experience like this at a hotel.

Our room was dirty, the countertop the tv was on had old dried pizza sauce or some other type of food. One of the bedding covers had something red on it, not sure if it was lipstick, food or something else. The toilets were not cleaned well. We understood this property was downtown; however, we did not expect homeless sleeping in between the two entrance doors. Very disappointing stay.

The service was great. The only two issues we had, one greater than the other was that a cigarette, a wrapper and a piece of lettuce were all found under/around the foot of the bed. Also, there were two stains on one comforter. The shower handle was also loose, with a small gap between the wall (forgivable, if the room was well-cleaned). Whether housekeeping did a 'quick' job or what, I'm not sure, but it was a little unsettling that some obvious items were missed during cleaning. Other than that, the place was lovely, shower pressure was good and space was nice.

Let's start with the pros: - Fairly priced - Responsive and helpful front desk - Generously sized rooms with modern amenities Now the cons: - Housekeeping needs an overhaul. I had to change rooms three times due to various cleanliness issues. Room 1 had hair on top of the comforter and hair on the bathroom floor. Room 2 had hair on the bathroom floor and finger print smudges in the long length window. Room 3 (which I settled with because of a time constraint) had hair on the bathroom floor, on the toilet, on the shower door and shower walls. And to add insult to injury, when I took a shower and pulled down a towel - yup you can guess it, there was a long strand of hair that came down with it. Of note: I have black dreadlocks, so the long blond hair is impossible to be my own. Housekeeping is asleep at the wheel here. The front desk did me a solid and changed me rooms and ultimately comped me a night. However I will not stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful, historic property! Ours was only an overnight stay but it was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. I love how big and spacious the room and bathroom is. The high ceilings made it feel like I was in a castle. Valet parking is very convenient. There are only 2 elevators but we never had to wait for one. Quiet hotel, I don't think we ever saw anyone in the hallways.

The lady at the desk was super helpful and when a situation arose where there was only 1 bed (i dont know the lady i was with well enough to share a bed) she propmtly changed my room to a double with no questions asked. She even made a funny joke about the situation. Great service. I would gladly stay here again.

The quality of the food was not worth it to either of us to pay $17 for- watery cold eggs, soggy bacon, undercooked pastries, etc. When my partner went to see if there was any compromise, the staff was very rude to him. They ended up giving us vouchers, but were very cold the rest of the time we were there. I’ve never had an experience like this at a hotel.

The fire alarm went off at 12am. No one came to get us from outside when we stood outside for 20 mins. When we reported it the next morning the gentlemen basically dismissed us and didnt care.

We’ve stayed at many hotels downtown Milwaukee, and this one has had the absolute best customer service! The manager went out of her way to make our stay special, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful spaces, clean rooms, we can’t recommend this hotel enough!!

The front desk manager was so sweet! My train from Chicago had gotten to Milwaukee way before check in time, and she was able to accommodate us and get us into a room way before 3pm! Loved the hotel staff and amenities, everyone is so nice & helpful. The hotel is beautiful btw. Will definitely come back and visit!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, great location and very comfortable beds. My only complaint is the noise outside. We were on the second floor, at the back of the building with a horrible view. Not sure where the music was coming from but it kept us up at night. We had to have our fan running constantly to try to block the music. I will request a higher room and in the front of the building.

Charming hotel in a good location, easy walking distance to different neighborhoods and attractions (Public Market, art museum, lakefront, Theater District). The staff was all pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and quiet. The steep parking rate is annoying, but that's the only fault I can find. I will definitely stay there again!

This is our second time staying here. The staff is so nice and helpful. The building itself is beautiful and historic and the beds are comfortable. Love how close it is to walk to restaurants, shopping, the river, theatre, etc. The breakfast (which you have to pay for, in their restaurant) was nothing exciting and over priced, so I would recommend dining elsewhere. Otherwise, we loved everything else and will definitely stay again.
