It is a nice idea to have a hotel in historic building and many aspects of the common areas were nice. The room decor was just ok and there was dust in some areas. The main problem with our stay was that the hotel offered a shuttle to the Brewers game which we were attending. The shuttle took us to the game, but never came back to pick us up. After waiting an hour, with other hotel guests, we called and were told the shuttle would not be coming for pick up and we were offered no alternative way to get back. We spoke to the desk clerk the next morning and he told us he would tell the manager. We never heard anything further. It is no way to run a hotel to leave people waiting in a strange town with no way to get back. Reliability and caring about comfort and welfare is important to customers. This was not shown by this hotel. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. That being said, the staff was kind and courteous in our other dealings with them.

It’s very deceptive when indicating parking available. Expensive Parking available is parking structures expensive valet. Or questionable street parking. Room was nice but furnace vent blows right at the bed making the sleeping area very hot in the bathroom area cold.

Outstanding experience overall, but the only black mark was the failure of a return shuttle from the ballpark after the Brewers game. This became a major inconvenience.

Great restaurant, rooms were pretty clean, staff was friendly, and easy check in and out. I just wish there was another option for parking other than valet or an expensive parking garage a block away but I don’t think there’s much they can do about that.

They provided a small glass of beer on check in. It's in the old Pabst Brewery District . Brew kettles in the center of hotel. Brewery tour across the street. Near the Deer District. Attached OnTap bar/restaurant is attached. Ramp a short block away was much cheaper than valet. A couple of craft breweries and a coffee shop are a short walk away.

Hotel was great. Best cheese curd I have ever had. How cute is this hotel? Parking is horrible and valet too expensive. Cost 42.00 for over night. My husband tipped on arrival, and when we left. A total of $62.00, Vallet does not help unload your car. Expensive, and a huge pain. I don’t know if this is worth another stay, due to inconvenience. We are an elderly couple and a little help would of been nice.

Just checked in and walked into a dirty room. Debris of some sort all over the bed. Sticky handles in the kitchen. Visible smears/food/grease on cabinrt doors. Dried pee/puke on toilet seat. Dirty shower. Overall just a really uncomfortable stay. Called to the desk to mention room was dirty. Had to call again before someone finally showed up. Asked for a clean room. Was given a new sheet for bed. Thats all. Wont be staying again. If room had a deep deep clean....would be cute.

We went to Milwaukee for a fun long weekend away. Brewhouse Inn did not disappoint. It was so quiet, I never heard anyone in the hall or from the rooms around me. Such a clean room with a view of the front. Good breakfast in the lobby and pub. Everyone was so welcoming and nice and helpful since it was our first visit to Milwaukee. We already have plans to visit again.

Room layout was good and staff were very nice. I would rate this higher but the room was not clean. The bathroom was missed, especially the toilet, and the towels had stains. Bed was average. I highly recommend checking your room thoroughly before you unpack.

Very clean hotel in the rooms and out in the common areas. Staff was all very welcoming and informative. Very unique building and the room was spacious, clean, and the kitchenette was an extra bonus as the price was comparable to rooms without a kitchenette at other properties. Definitely worth the money!

The Brewhouse is a really cool, unique space that is charmingly Milwaukee. We got a room with two fully separate spaces, high vaulted ceilings, a full kitchen, and a giant window. It felt like we were in a modern castle.

We planned a spontaneous night away with the kids and there was one room left (rm 205). Upon entering the hotel we liked the aesthetic, but there was only one staff member working the check in computers and there were a few people in line. There was a problem with the key card activator that stalled our check in process. When we entered our room we were pleasantly surprised how spacious it was. We had a king room with a double pull-out couch. The room had a smell to it that we figured was yeast or something beer related given it was a brewhouse. Our room was right above the band playing outside on the patio for On Tap and it was LOUD. The music ended by 10pm so not complaining about that, just the fact it was so loud in general. We understood just why this was the last room left and cheap to book. The bed was horrible. Its a flimsy spring mattress, nothing fancy at all and you can feel the springs all night. The pillows were also horrible. Unfortunately we both were up tossing and turning all night. We definitely will be considering a different hotel next time given our first impression of this one.

Everything was okay but 2 big areas of opportunity: 1. The room was so dark. Get better brighter golden light. 2. Spend the money on proper size tvs for seating/bed areas. I used my laptop as the TVs were so small.

Room and service was excellent. The rooms are dark, so not the ideal business trip spot to work in your room. Everything else was great. Clean room, clean sheets, friendly staff. EM checked me in and was awesome. Parking is not so friendly…$40 to valet or park yourself on the busy street on Super Bowl Sunday and with Bucks playing.

Guests are offered a draft PBR upon check in—my kind of hotel! The staff was friendly and very helpful in answering our questions about parking and Summerfest. This is a unique place and convenient place to stay. I do think the rooms could use some updating. Our room was quite dark and starting to show a bit of its age. Had a bit of a 90s feel to it. Overall, recommended. We would stay here again if the price is right.

Second stay at this property, but this time was in a room over the restaurant/bar. Extremely loud which wasn’t as much as issue on a weekday but on Friday night the noise until 2am prevented a decent night’s sleep. I texted and emailed the manager after getting contact information from the front desk, but never received a reply. Disappointed in the hotels management. Won’t stay at this property again.

Beautiful place but a few details were off putting. After check in I was asked by hotels.com if I got my VIP upgrade and 20 percent off dining coupon. I did not. A text from Brewhouse announced complimentary fruit, pastry and coffee each morning. Fruit was never served during our stay. A trainee front desk person was unable to help find a shuttle or public transit to Summerfest on Saturday afternoon. When I pointed this out to a more senior employee he was very defensive and said he would have been able to help us better. I turned down his offer of free breakfast after the fact as I did not want to eat there anymore. A sign for the beer garden advertised there was cornhole available to play, it was nowhere to be found. A screen on the lobby advertised trivia in the bar. We walked into the bar, no trivia game going on during the advertised time. It is a beautiful place but I think it struggling to provide it's claimed amenities.

The staff was terrific—very helpful and welcoming. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better experience. The property's renovation from the Pabst Brewing Company to the Brewhouse Inn is exceptional. The before-and-after photos are mind-blowing. It is a very nice place to stay during your visit to Milwaukee.

Hotel was a unique historic building and looked nice until the service or lack of. Check in took awhile because they only have one person working the desk and answering the phone. I was placed in a handicap room without asking probably since I walk badly with a cane. That was fine. Our second night we planned on taking their shuttle to the Bucks game. Their website shows the shuttle, the bartender told us the shuttle always leaves about an hour before the game starts and the front desk worker told us the same thing. Game was at 7:00. We started waiting at 6 with a couple other couples, they gave up waiting at 6:30 and decided to walk. We were taken to the game in the shuttle at 6:40. Got to our seats at tip off. Was told we would be picked up where we were dropped off. After the game,,,,,,,no shuttle. Called the hotel and was told they had no one to drive the shuttle but it's only a six block walk back. IM AN OLDER HANDICAPPED MAN WITH VERY BAD KNEES. Tried to order an Uber but there was a thirty minute wait for a car. Complained to the desk when we got back and was told nothing they could do. Complained about it in the morning and was told by the lady working that it wasn't their problem. NO HANDICAPPED PERSON SHOULD EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Pathetic customer service and wasn't even offered a token reduction of the bill.

The staff treated my friend very poorly. She was on the registration, I had to enter her info into it since it was going to be a trip for her. The staff treated her like she was doing something wrong. I don’t care how pretty a building is or how comfortable the damn beds are when the staff treats their patrons like criminals. Will never encourage anyone to stay here.

Second stay at this property, but this time was in a room over the restaurant/bar. Extremely loud which wasn’t as much as issue on a weekday but on Friday night the noise until 2am prevented a decent night’s sleep. I texted and emailed the manager after getting contact information from the front desk, but never received a reply. Disappointed in the hotels management. Won’t stay at this property again.

Passing through Milwaukee on our summer trip to the U.P. The Brewhouse is a treasure! Great utilization of a historic brewery and grounds. From Harold the Valet to our Gentleman who checked us in, the staff were impeccable. The room was large, comfortable, clean and quiet. Walking distance to many breweries and restaurants. Harold the Valet assisted us with parking our vehicle. He was friendly, kind and informative. Harold is a great first face of the Brewhouse, a true asset. We will definitely be returning.

If not for the staff service it would have been a 4 star overall. I did not like the attitude of the first female that I tried to check in with a little early, wasn’t friendly at all. We didn’t officially get into our room until a little after midnight (we did check in at 4). After getting in the room everything was impeccably clean with the exception of spiderwebs in the corner by the window. At checkout my mother and mother-in-law had an awful encounter with trying to get help from a (Caucasian) housekeeper/houseman asking for directions to the elevator. That is definitely unacceptable.

Very cool hotel with tons of charm. My husband and I stayed for one night while in town for a concert and were very impressed. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly and they were sure to offer the free shuttle service to and from the concert which was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again

We were in Milwaukee for and event at Fiserv Forum and chose Brewhouse Inn because of the location to the event. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. We used the valet parking because of the ease of using it. The walk to the event was pleasant. Highly recomend staying here and would definetly stay here again.

My stay at the hotel was a very good experience. The check-in was very easy and the room was clean and also offered a kitchenette, which was very convenient across the street was a small convenience store, which was very nice to have in order to be able to use the kitchenette. The hotel was a bit far from Central downtown Milwaukee, but was close to a lot of different options just couple blocks away, including entertainment, dining, and some walkable areas. The history of the hotel and its previous use as a brewery is very notable throughout the hotel and very fun to be able to take pictures and to explore. My only complaint was that it was a bit loud during the weekend that we were staying.

The reason I only gave 3/5 stars was because everything says there is a continental breakfast on Sunday, but turns out, their definition of continental breakfast is a plastic bin with some store bought pastries and coffee. Additionally, the hotel charges for toothpaste! Thats kind of crazy.

I loved how they persevered as much of the old brewer that was there first. The upgraded room was beautiful and fun to stay in. I am very disappointed in the restaurant as the service wait was long (nearly an hour) for the Friday night despite the lack of partons. The next morning even though we sat two booths down from were the wait staff was working and the only people in the restaurant we still didn't get service, after about 10 minutes we got up and left.

We were told that you can get a “complimentary” PBR upon check-in. There was a keg sitting behind the counter as dry as the Sahara, and no one took accountability to change the keg over the course of 24 hours that we were there, mind you, we seen at least 3 different people working the counter. Secondly, we were told upon check-in that a complimentary continental breakfast would be available in the morning. The “continental breakfast” was discovered to be a 2x2x2 ft cabinet of danishes that were removed from a Costco wrapper and put in the case.

The staff were very nice; the hotel and room were clean and well cared for. And you will never see the inside of a hotel like this anywhere! The original Pabst brewery with all of the original copper kettles. They are enormous and it is soooo cool! On the other hand, the coffee in the morning was not very good, and while they did have "pastries", they were small and cold....

Room was not extremely clean. Dust very visible near the baseboards. No hand soap/gel available at the bathroom sink. Long wait at check in. Under staffed. Valet guy was very helpful. Explained parking options including street parking. Bar and food were good. A neat facility . Breakfast at our room delivered like door dash. Plastic bag and cartons. Good but pricey.
