This has become my fav hotel in PC, cleanliness, service, value, breakfast, pool, gym, nice sheets, location, friendly staff. my only wish is that they would actually measure the pool chemicals, every time I have used the pool the past 4 years it consistantly burns your eyes-otherwise it is a great pool

What i liked most about this hotel was the communal spaces, well designed, comfortable, fun. The pool had some shade with the tropical plants. Nice bar seating with good Aperol Spritzers. The gym was more useful than most hotel gyms. Television in room had very limited channels. Good overall value.

Be warned, the hotel hosts a rave at their pool area that plays throbbing bass dance music until 4am. My entire bed was shaking. It was so loud, and after a full day of travel, I did not sleep. There was no one at the front desk answering the phones. Unbelievable.

Fue una estadía OK. La habitación si necesita actualizarse, muchos muebles viejos. La cama estuvo ok. El desayuno debe mejorarse, muy pocas opciones. Lo que no nos gustó es que hubo una fiesta en el área de la piscina en Biergarten con música extremadamente alta hasta las 4 a.m..

Our overall experience at the hotel was very good. We arrived late at night, and the service from the start was excellent. The room was very clean. I arrived at the hotel early and had to wait to check in. The staff was rude and unhelpful to start. We waited for the restaurant to open and went in for breakfast while we waited for our room. While there we went to use the bathroom that was by the pool. We noticed the pool was very dirty and smelled like sewage. When we used the toilet it overflowed into our feet. The sewage water ran out of the bathroom into the hall and to the pool deck. No wonder the pool smelled and looked bad. We took pictures. We reported it and no one went to clean it while we were there. We went back to the reception desk and asked them to cancel the room and give us a refund due to the unsanitary conditions of the place but they said they could not because hotels. Com had not paid them yet and that we had to contact hotels. Com. I told them we were not staying there and we left and got another room at another hotel. I contacted hotels.com and they tried to get a refund but the hotel would not give it. We never actually checked in because it was too early when we arrived so we never saw the actual room. We chose that hotel because of the nice pool but it was so dirty and unsafe to use that we wouldn't have been able to enjoy that amenity. I think a refund is owed but what can i do except to give this review and make sure others know not to book there. I will also review on other sites with pictures. Trying to upload pics to this review but it's not working.

The hotel is in a great location. It's located about 15 minutes from old town depending on traffic. The hotel staff are pretty friendly as well. I encountered some issues, however, with my hotel room. I found roaches crawling in the bathroom. The hotel moved me into another room.

When I checked in the front desk staff was okay but the next morning when I complained about the roaches in the bathroom the guy at front desk decided to change his attitude completely as if I were to be abusing him of a crime. Took them a whole day to switch me to a different room after I had to remind them to switch me. He and the other young lady treated me indifferent after I explained about the roaches and that I could not stay in a room like that for them to please move me to another. Not sure why they chose to act that way towards me. They were the only ones I had bad experience with. Everyone else from the Cleaning Lady to the guys out front assisting with our bags and where to park were kind and attentive. Staff at restaurant were awesome too! The owner should do something about the edge of pool thought I placed my knee on it and slightly slid and ended up scrapping my knee and chin (instead of just being cement it have pieces of broken tile cemented to it). Added a photo of sink with the roaches I killed (room 810) and the scratch that is now healing from a week ago now.

Noisy at night. Definitely would not stay here on a Saturday as both times we have stayed there has been a notice of a private party on Saturday from 9pm-4 am. Dated, older carpet and decor. Breakfast is below average. But staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful.

Rooms could use some updating. Such as in-room coffee makers, mini fridge, etc. I needed to leave early before the restaurant opened for breakfast, so I was not able to get a cup of coffee before leaving. Not a huge deal, but it would've made the stay a little nicer. Overall, the room was comfortable and clean. Nice area with restaurants and shopping nearby.

The stay was good. I had the king size bed suit and it was rather small as well as the bathroom. The drain for the shower is not centered well so there is always a puddle of water left in the shower, the shower head is oddly positioned, shower door doesn’t fully close. The phone for the room also doesn’t work all you hear is static. Pool and outside lounge area is good only issue is I wish there were umbrellas for some of the tables that surround the pool area. Also not a fan how they serve alcohol but after a certain time. I’m on vacation, if I want a cocktail at 10am I should be able to have one lol. Staff is overall friendly but I had to continue to get up and ask for another round while by the pool when there should have been someone checking in frequently. Overall the hotel wasn’t terrible but it could be wayyyy better. Highlight of this trip was their weekly private events they do every Saturday with techno/house music

This hotel was magnificent to the eye! Everywhere there were these beautiful features that are not seen in everyday hotels. This hotel is an EXPERIENCE! The staff is nice too.... No refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. But the vibe was WORTH not having those things. I plan to return to Panama JUST to stay at this hotel!

The property looks great as far as decorations go, unfortunately it requires updating, the A/C looked old and made noise, the A/C remote didnt work, Tvs are old, etc. The beds are comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean which was great. The staff needs more training, for breakfast, the hostess treated us terribly, there were 15 minutes left for breakfast and she basically told us to eat the leftover bread. Another employee (thankfully) saw the treatment and offered to make eggs and get more juice for us. Other guests arrived after us and were helped by this one employee, but the hostess was really terrible. During check out, there was a guest complaining about the noise of the night before because they have music events, but the person in charge just dismissed him with a sorry about the noise.

Taken from my Google maps reviews account: a great place for rest and entertainment. Update: the previous phrase was six year ago, with that I can affirm that I am a frequent client and this is a update from my father and a friend at the room 611 from nomberver 20 to 25, I think it was the Last day I use this hotel. The guard on November 24 night at around 10 pm ordered us to leave the lobby, first because we couldn't take a coffee at the lobby even with the restaurant been closed. So I have to take my visit to the sidewalk to drink a coffee. And after that, with out presenting the manual of the same hotel, said I was not allowed to take visits at the lobby after 11 pm. I understand if they present the manual but it was just verbal even after requesting the manual or written file. I hope they update they staff or change it because they will lose many clients.

The guard on November 24 night at around 10 pm ordered us to leave the lobby, first because we couldn't take a coffee at the lobby even with the restaurant been closed. So I have to take my visit to the sidewalk to drink a coffee. And after that, with out presenting the manual of the same hotel, said I was not allowed to take visits at the lobby after 11 pm. I understand if they present the manual but it was just verbal even after requesting the manual or written file. I hope they update they staff or change it because they will lose many clients.

The Front Desk staff is the worst. A person with Specs in the front desk with the name of Carlos ( young person with specs) have a different attitude and thinks that the hotel is the property of his father. Never ever ready to help. Only guve excuses. The worst person ever experienced at any hotel front desk.

This is was our second stay here and the hotel is very lovely. Most of the staff are very kind and accomodating, except when we arrived yesterday around 1pm the man on the front desk was very grumpy and not helpful. He would not accommodate an early check in unless we paid and we explained we had a long journey and needed to rest and asked could we sit by the pool and he also would not allow even that, saying it is for guests only. We were going to be checking in so we were guests. It was unbelievably rude and upsetting.

Hotel is amazing. Location amazing. Most importantly, staff are amazing: Miguel, Rolando, Carlo, candy, Rominia, (another young lady and gentleman working restaurant whose names I can’t remember), the housekeepers, all were excellent and I want to go back to see them all.

They added a process of being forced to get a voucher before you can get breakfast, EVEN if your room includes breakfast. The LAST thing I want to do in the morning before breakfast is wait in line for a voucher. I have been going to that hotel for the last 15 years and they never did this before - they need to change this back. They are getting 4 stars because their new policy ruined my morning.

This hotel was very eclectic with its own unique style. I loved the art work displayed in the lobby and throughout the property. The front desk staff (Eric and Eli) made my check- in process run smoothly. Eric allowed me to check in early, to which I was very appreciative. My room was spacious (corner room). I believe the room number was number 620. I unfortunately could hear all of the noise of car horns honking, dogs barking, and music blaring from the neighboring bars (staff did warn me about the bar music when I checked in). I suggest to pack earplugs. I felt like I was in NYC sleeping with the hotel windows opened. The room was cleaned daily, which was a plus. The room did not have a mini refrigerator nor microwave. The jacuzzi jets worked, however the jacuzzi failed to get hot/warm. Breakfast was tasty. I must give acknowledgement to the security guard named Rolando, he was AMAZING!! Rolando went above and beyond to make sure I was safe during my stay there. I was starving one night and he walked me over to Leonardo pizza spot around the corner for my safety. I felt very safe there, especially as a solo traveler. The hotel location is good. They do not charge a fee for incidentals (no hold on your credit card), which I thought was great, more spending money for your trip! I would definitely return here the next time I revisit Panamá!

Although the hotel is VERY nice, very clean, unique and beautiful, breakfast is TERRIBLE. They serve egg, meat and 1 more option that varies. Taste of food is 5/10. It is a shame that food service and staff in restaurant is that bad, considering that reception staff is VERY nice and kind, and hotel is BEAUTIFUL.

The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff is courteous, and professional. The property is well-kept and clean. The only thing that need improvement is the breakfast menu, it is nearly the same daily. Also tea and coffee is available outside of breakfast hours. The location is perfect for shopping for food and other items.

I prefer to having more options for breakfast besides scrambled eggs. Also, I didn’t appreciate being asked by one of the hostesses to tip the cook for something that was already on the menu. I’m fine with tipping for good or better service, but not for ordering a simple cheeseburger. If it were late, close to end of service, then I’d be more understanding. But I placed my order early in the dinner shift.
