Rented the 1 bedroom suite with sofa bed separate seating area. Size was comfortable and kitchen and fridge size were also very comfortable. The only thing was a roach came out by the sofa. I reported it to them, they did send someone to fumigate right away, but I was not as happy as they did not offer a room change, discount, or empathy to waking up to the roaches. The night staff and cleaning teams were amazing though. Easy parking also.

Great, quiet location - less than 5 minutes from Sorority Row, convenient to downtown & across the street from la Tienda Mexican restaurant. The hotel provides a nice breakfast. The rooms and facilities are clean. Rooms are studios with fairly complete kitchens. There’s a small gym on premises, too

Clean, quiet and nice hotel. Parking and check in was easy. Lots of space in one room for 6 which made it more affordable. Conveniently located to dollar general, convenient stores and restaurants (walking distance) the pool was nice, clean and warm in march with self serve pool towels available. Nice small gym with washer and dryer access. Continental breakfast was a nice gesture but was not good. They had a small selection that wasnt as fresh as i would like at 8 am. Milk was very low fat(watery) some may prefer it that way. Just not a southerns idea of breakfast

Property is close to UF and is away from the high traffic area. Entrance to the hotel is on the side of the hotel and not in front - entrance is narrow and hard to find specially at nighttime. Hotel does have parking area behind the hotel.

One of the elevators were broken, the other one wasnt far behind it. NONE of the phones worked in the place, the ac in the room BARELY kept the room cool enough to sleep, and this place wasnt that old!!!!

Accommodating for 5 people. Sofa bed was comfortable. Wish there was a tub to soak and a hot tub. Walking distance to the stadium. Tv was in an awkward place. Overall very pleased

Waited 20 minutes to check in because the computer wasn’t working. After getting up to the room the kids wanted to go swimming so we went down to the pool. Pool was trashed. Beer cans all over the floor, all the pool furniture was thrown into the pool including a potted plant. Lady at the front desk said they would get to it the next day. The room it self was nice and beds were comfortable but definitely not queen sizes

The hotel was pretty nice, very roomy. The mini kitchen was great to have. There was a portable stovetop burner you could get at the front desk, but it wouldn't work, said it was getting too much voltage or something. The only other thing that wasn't great was that there were hairs in the shower. Overall, I would stay again, though.

We were checked into our room and they were not done cleaning the room from prior guest. The beds had been changed and a pile of dirty towels was left on the floor just outside of our room. The bathroom, however, we later realized had not been cleaned. Housekeeping entered the room a couple minutes after our arrival, apologized and ran out of the room. I tried to speak to her but she did not speak English. Using google translate she replied yes and then crossed the room off of her sheet. We were only in the room long enough to drop our stuff and run out. When we arrived back after 10 pm and took a shower, there was both pubic hair and other hair on the floor, shower and sink. Makes me wonder if the toilet was cleaned or not. Definitely grossed out. Left a message for hotel manager with front desk. Due to expedia payment, i was told no discount could be given but they would see what they could do. We will see tomorrow when the manager calls me.

It was just ok. Nothing special. Our room was more on the street side and it was a bit noisy. Also they have sensor lights throughout which was a bit inconvenient because they came on at night if someone had to use the restroom. And aslo shut off if you were in the shower. Free breakfast was definitely lacking. Again overall it was just ok. I would most likely select another hotel during our next stay in Gainesville.

They made us changes rooms which was an issue because my daughters was having surgery at Shands. Very inconvenient and did not offer a refund for the inconvenience. We had to leave hospital during the middle of her surgery to change rooms. Not happy at all!!!!

We checked in late but were locked out and there was no staff at the front desk to open the door to let us in. I asked where they were (two staff members) when they finally came back to open the door and they said they were “checking on something” and that was all. I reached out to the manager via phone and email after the stay and never heard back.

Emailed hotel to say we’d be arriving late. Arrived at midnight and after several attempts with the digital key, card keys, and staff master key, we couldn’t get into the room. Desk staff found out an earlier employee put someone in our room already because they booked 2 queens but were assigned a single queen. Desk staff tried multiple times to reach a manager and no one would respond. After almost 2 hours, she was able to get us into 2 separate single queen rooms instead of our double queen but one had a non-working tv. Our heads finally hit the pillows around 2:10 am. Despite all this I have to say Kay, the front desk employee, was amazing. She apologized over and over, pulled out both sleeper sofas for us, brought extra pillows and bedding, offered water, and really made every effort she could to assist.

Room that I booked wasn’t available, which was a suite, but I had to pay the same amount for a standard room. Was told it was due to renovations, yet there was no sign of construction, etc. They said it’s Expedia booked incorrectly and that I need to take it up with Expedia. It seemed like they were over booking.

Excellent staff - very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Always pleasant and cheerful. Perhaps gauge a bit more regarding number of guests checked in, and the availability of items at breakfast. Many items ran out quickly, more than an hour before closing time. The ratio of breakfast items to guests was in the minus. The lobby areas in front of the elevators unfortunately need attending to. Perhaps the bins need deep cleaning and the carpet as well. There is a negative scent when exiting the elevators.

Breakfast staff didn’t want to put out any meat because she said she had too many other sandwiches without meat to get rid of. Order more meat sandwiches. Someone’s DoorDash from 1130pm was sitting on the front desk counter at 0530 in the morning.no van service to any of the hospitals. Va Snands or UF. Room was big and clean.
