The first night there was a couple yelling at each other, using profanity and banging and slamming doors…the second morning we were awakened by police officers yelling for a room occupant to exit his room with his hands in the air, his room happened to be next to ours…the floor in our room needed to be swept, and the furniture had knicks out of it…the pool and courtyard area was very well kept, and the ice machine and vending machines were also nice…

It's a typical Motel 6 -- pretty basic and spartan. No dresser, just a bar mounted on the wall and some clothes hangers; a small wall-mounted desk area with a plastic "bucket" chair; a sink but no counters in the bathroom. Both ice machines on the property were out of order my entire 3-day stay there. On the positive side, the staff -- both the front desk personnel and the maid -- are friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Gets the job done! We have to take our dog to vet in Phoenix, cheapest dog friendly hotel there is. Pool was great very clean!

The exterior was in need of repair, banisters at stairs were rotten/rusting. Door to room had visoble gap at bottom and opening. We had to scrub the tub and toilet. Tub had hair on the side and it didnt look like it had actually been cleaned after last guest. We used two swiffer pads to clean the floor of the bathroom and sleeping area before we could walk on it and not get the sensation of sticking to the floor..the first cleaning pad was black with wat ever was on tje floor, the second one was not quiet as black, but floor felt much cleaner when walking. Pillows had hair in opening of pillow cases on each of the three pillows. We removed the pillow cases and shook them out.. Motel six used to be a quality place to sleep and not spend a fortune. Unfortunately i will be speending an extra 40 to 50 dollars a night from now on..

First room assigned smelled terrible. Would not accept it. Second non-smoking room stunk of smoke, burns on desktop, but tolerable. I expected basic, but this place is run down and not maintained. Mattress lumpy, gap under door, banged up counter tops.

Absolutely no amenities in the room that was barely large enough to hold a double bed. When I asked for a microwave to heat up my dinner, I was told I would have to visit the other Motel 6, which is about 300 yards away, but could use their microwave next to the lobby. If the room was $50 a night I wouldn’t be so disappointed. But for $268 for two nights, I’m disgusted. By the time I checked in, nothing else was available in the area so I was stuck there.

Although they say free wifi is included, we had to walk to the opposite side of the property near the office to get the wifi signal. Otherwise there is no wifi in the rooms. Very inconvenient

The room was very clean. It looked like it had recently been painted, too. The bed creaked and was kind of lumpy, though. The signage could be better for this motel- it’s tucked behind other buildings so it was hard to find at first.

Went back to our room to find that they have given away our room to someone else even if we had a valid reservation for the next 4 nights. Worse, they boxed up our belongings without even bothering to call me! To top it all off, my laptop was under the bed and they just left it in the room with the new occupants. How unprofessional and unsafe!

Hotels. Com & motel 6 had many problems communicating. My confirmation did not get to motel 6, for some reason. Until a supervisor called the motel, it was just confusion as I waited in the lobby for several hours. Motel 6 did nothing to rectify my situation. Neither did hotels. Com, other than finally getting me into my room which had been paid at least 4 hours prior. Those 4 hours were spent in the lobby, trying to get my problem resolved. I could not even have a late check out. I've used hotels com in the past and have never had a problem like this. The motel person mentioned to the rep at hotels.cim that I could have an early check in as of 430 am. I would need to wait another 4 hours. That way I could check out the next day. I would not recommend. Neighborhood felt unsafe, desk guy said if we found parking near front should stay there cause car was safer. Bed pushed up against the wall, no shampoo or conditioner, bath towels the size of hand towels, bed uncomfortable. Felt like we needed to have someone stay up and keep watch for safety. Looked like there was a note at the front desk that had been there a long time stating Wi-Fi was down.

If you've been driving all day, and it's night, and you don't know the area, this motel will be a challenge to locate. After cursing google maps for 15 minutes driving around to find this place I finally went to a nearby Motel 6 who gave me instructions to find this location. The Motel 6 sign was only half lit, with 'Free WiFi' lit up and the 'Motel 6' not lit up. This location is accessed by a hard to locate driveway that looks more like an alley way. When I commented to the check in clerk they replied 'Yeah it's a motel 6, they don't like spending money'. What kind of business saves money by not changing a light bulb in their sign so that customers can find their location. Especially ironic given the company slogan - 'We'll leave the light on for you'.

I was making a quick trip and needed to stay the night in Mesa. I had no problems with the room, cleanliness, etc. You get what you pay for. However, what a surprise?? my GPS lead me to Motel 6, but it was the north one?? The south Motel 6 is minutes away, but you have to go down a parking lot alley and there are no signs?? I found the place, got my room, but wow? 2 properties so close to each other and no signs? All good

Property is so dangerous, police cars hang out in the parking lot and no wonder why, we found bullet casings in the parking lot. Unhoused people staying there I'm guessing where removed from their room and they were camping outside our room, high on I don't know what, very scary situation. Week day crew is just terrible, rude, including the supervisor, rooms not ready by check in time, we had to wait over an hour and a half. I was expecting at least a clean room and that was not the case, bathtub had hair from previous guests which is very gross...

The very nice lady at check in was pleasant and easy to work with. That being said, the property has an overwhelming amount of drug activity and sketchy individuals approaching me begging for money, food and even asked if I would let him stay with me in my room! I will never recommend this property to anyone.

The staff were very friendly. Had an issue with the heater (Rainy and cold that weekend) maintenance was there immediately and fixed it! Appreciated the security. For the price a continental breakfast would have been appreciated! Hot coffee was available!

No Kleenex; no hair dryer; no bedspread on the bed; only two wall outlets in the entire room, none in the bathroom area; no decoration whatsoever—no art on the walls, few furnishings, and what there was was cheap, ugly, and old. TV menu listed the program I wanted to see, but when I put in the number for the station, there was no service. Coffee was served at the registration desk area “6am - 10 am only.” Went down there at 6:20 am and found the door locked, with a sign that said back at 6:20. This room was booked on Expedia, and $133.47 was charged to my credit card a full month before my stay. At the time I checked out the next morning, the receipt showed a zero balance but no indication of what I had paid.
