Property was fine being down town you’re going to get the 2-3am drunks running through the halls but that’s typical the only let down was the cost of valet. There’s no additional parking so you have to valet and it’s 57 a day a little high especially with tips etc they should consider lowering or making it more known that hey you have to valet or provide alternate parking locations on the site

The pool was not really clean. Me and my daughter went to the pool and the first thing we ser was mucus floating in the pool, very gross. Other than that the place was awesome, perfect spot to be at.

The Hyatt Place mandates that you have to valet park your vehicle at $60 per night. We stayed for 2 nights and was appalled on check out that they could not find our vehicle. The valet kept saying the car was on the way for 30 minutes. After we kicked up a big fuss, we discovered that the key was still in the valet box and no one had gone to get the car. They LIED several times when asked about the car. We can handle the truth but to LIE Bold faced when they did not know where the vehicle was is just unacceptable!.

At time of checkout only 1 elevator was working! We stayed on the 9th floor we waited for 35min so we had to go down 9 flights of stairs with our luggage. We had to wait another 30min for valet

The only thing I did not like was that there was no parking at hotel unless you use valet for $50.00. Wasn’t a cost I realized I would have. No one ever said anything about not being parking there. I am a 100% disabled veteran who lives on a fixed income. So they extra cost and then every time we would leave and come back it was an additional $20.00 to park it again.

I liked the location and convenience of the hotel - very well situated and service was excellent. One comment is that house keeping skipped us a day and when I brought it up and asked that they come after a certain hour (we would be out again), they came multiple times until I really emphasized a certain time. But not a problem.

Tv wasnt working, wifi was a pain, bathtub drain was clogged, slow drain. Some prior guest's toothpaste was left on the towels which means the towels weren't fresh for my stay. No ice on my floor, no vending machines. Not the greatest.

Excellent customer service from the minute I drove up to the property to the day I left, the staff were always welcoming. The room was cleaned daily, and the hotel was quiet despite many rooms being booked. Many walkable restaurants, coffee places, and a convenient grocery store located across the street. The area around the hotel felt safe even late at night. Parking was expensive, but the valet service was friendly and very quick.

Very noisy elevator that we could hear in our room all night whenever it was in use. No idea how an elevator could be loud but sounded like someone was rolling a luggage cart on the floor above us that had broken wheels like a shopping cart. Also had a lot of loud drunk people coming back to the hotel from 2-4 am and partying in the hallway. Not sure if that is because this is close to a lot of night life? If you are looking for a good night rest I would find a different place further away. Breakfast was good but we had to wait in line for a while for the staff to refill the pancakes or waffles. Comfy bed but lumpy pillows. Staff was nice.

The bed was comfortable but I thought it weird and annoying that the chair at the desk was not on wheels. I was there on business and needed to use the desk a lot and the heavy, hard to move desk chair was a surprisingly disappointing inconvenience. There are rolling chairs in the business area of the lobby- those would be good in the rooms.

In addition to the obvious amenities which they hit out of the park (clean room, great breakfast, hustling and bustling staff), the elevators were fast and plentiful. Really essential for such a tall 18 story hotel. This is our second stay here, and my husband will stay no place else in Austin.

The parking was HORRIBLE we got Valet parking that was expensive it ended up being $130 to wait 30 hour for it. Dallas told us our car was coming then disappeared. Grayson was very accommodating and deserves a raise

Since we were there for SXSW, this was the perfect location. Literally right next to the convention center and just a couple blocks from 6th street. We just valet our vehicle when we check in and walked everywhere.

Great location. I still have issues with $56 a night for parking, but It's the way of the world now, so live with it I guess. The best part of the time at this beautiful Hotel was the proximity of food and live entertainment. I felt like Fried chicken and found Gus's WORLD FAMOUS CHICKEN literally across the street. I wanted to hear live music and found that Antones was only a few blocks away. Easily within walking distance. I wanted some snacks and saw a small grocery store across the street. So everything I felt I needed was easy to find. I did notice some homeless but never felt threatened. Overall the stay was enjoyable.

Fantastic location right at the heart of Austin. Easy walk to Rainey & 6th Street. Everything else was also a quick to walk (parks, shopping, restaurants & boards). The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. Their breakfast had a great selection and variety for all dietary restrictions. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great walking distance to all the places to see, 6th st., So Co shopping, Lady Bird Lake, and so many great restaurants. Parking at the hotel was expensive and we found that parking on the street was the way to go, especially if you’re checking out different spots like Barton’s Springs or Travis Lake. Street parking on Sundays is free! Overall it was a great stay except for the hiccup of being accidentally locked out of our room due to a mistake made at the front desk. My only suggestion would be to work on customer service and being more accommodating. It’s a great location and walking distance to a lot of great attractions Austin has to offer and felt pretty safe to me. Rooms were clean. I would stay again.

Amazing location, walkable to everything you want to see in downtown Austin… the breakfast included was delicious and had such a great variety to make everyone happy. Loved the water station and fresh fruit near the entrance. It was quiet, clean, and the staff was so friendly and attentive. This is my go to place in Austin !
