It's a shame-- this could be a really nice little property. It's very convenient for business travellers, but tucked back a little so it's quieter than motels on 20. But there's just no upkeep and little sign of any interest in guests' comfort. The AC didn't work well, the ice machine was broken, the vending machines were mostly empty, the pool was murky, and at breakfast there was no cream for coffee or milk for cereal, and nothing was replenished. It wasn't terrible this time, but all the signs are that it's going downhill, so I don't think I'll probably try it again.

The hotel itself was a bit rundown but clean. All the lights were out in the parking lot making it feel unsafe. It is used more for work and long term stays, there were men hanging out by their vehicles so having decent lighting would make it feel safer. The breakfast was decent. Our toilet had the water shut off for some reason and had to be turned on everytime we wanted to flush. Probably will not stay here again.

Elevator hasn't worked in months. Carpet looks like it hasn't been vacuumed. Drain in tub was clogged. Towels are supposed to be white not yellowish. The whole building smells of cigarette and mildew. Microtel should remove this owner's franchise.

i stayed for a week. this used to be a good place but now is run down and neglected. i didnt have a fridge in my room for the first day, second day AC went out, 3rd day elevator went out and stayed out, all the fitness machines did not work, the vending machine took my money, and one night 3 drunk girls sat on the floor outside my room knocking and calling the name of their drunk friend that was passed out in the room with the door latched. the doors to outside also were open the whole time letting anyone in.

Well check in went great. Settled in our room, put drinks in the fridge, and headed out for sight seeing & dinner. Had a late night at senergy. Returned around midnight to find the elevator out of service. Had to climb steps to 3 rd floor with bags & things we hadn’t taken to the room yet. Get in the room to find out the fridge doesn’t work. Great! Wake up at 4am to doors slamming, and continued well into 8 am. Guess this is a hotel for the workers in the area. Great again… Getting things ready to check out and there was a bar from the bed sticking out. I caught my ankle on it and cut it. Ankle is swelling. I call front desk for staff she comes in tries to fix the bed. Tells me mngt will be in in 1/2 hr. I ask if elevator is working. Reply is no. Now I have to lug all my things back down 2 flights of steps with a sore ankle. Welp that was an hour ago. I have since had breakfast & no mngr. Figuring I’d get ice for the cooler since my drinks are hot now. Only to find out that ice machine on 1st floor is out. Traveling to another floor is not happening. This hotel needs some serious help! In whole I would never recommend it!

The bathroom ceiling was leaking and has giant water spots all over the shower, the shower head was broken. The beds were so hard. They had no towels or wash clothes to give. I had one towel for three people, we had to buy towels and all our shower stuff. The rooms were not cleaned I found trash and hair all over the bathroom.

The rooms are very old and not as clean as they appear online. The first one we got smelled like mildew and smoke so we had to move to a different room . Which was better that the toilet pressure in the room was an issue along with the shower being clogged. You run two days or just one day out there in Odessa. The pool is completely soiled. It wasn’t what it appeared on online either. The staff was really nice and helpful. I know it’s not them who came up with this idea, but most likely management, they ration out towels, if you need new ones, you have to give your old ones. It is a cheaper hotel, so it’s understandable. It’s not unbearable however it’s not the most comfortable either. But it’s doable if you’re staying for a short period of time.

Disappointed in the cleanliness, there were stains in my sheets. The floor looks like it had not been vacuumed properly, the area around the bathtub and the baseboards were not clean. The refrigerator was not cleaned out. It had food residue & rust all inside. Also, the breakfast items were not put out on Sunday. We left at checkout time 11 AM and still nothing has been set out.

All handicapped parking spaces were taken but none of the vehicles had handicapped tags. Room was too hot and wasn’t cleaned properly, when I moved ottoman there was trash that wasn’t vacuumed

When I got my room, the people next to me were very loud, I was in a room with connecting doors and the noise barrier was not great. I was switched to a room that had no counting doors. It was much quieter but a new issue arose, the room was not to it's fully cleanliness potential. The sheets and towels were stained and questionable. To top it off I saw a few roaches scattered in the room and bathroom.

Cleanliness of the room was okay. If the room has mirrors the least they could do is clean the mirrors. There was hand prints in different areas. The seat cushion on window was dirty (stains). Upon arrival there was an over powering smell. They had a plugin scent (perhaps to mask odors). The some towels are yellow and others are thin (over use and wash). The pool area was dirty and pool was green. Parking lot was ok, some areas taken over by weeds. Breakfast? There was no eggs, no protein, only thing was “oatmeal” that looked like gravy (Sunday and Monday). Employee said there was no food (@8:10am). No milk for cereal (Sunday). Milk on Monday for cereal was warm. Very disappointing, will not stay here ever.

The elevator was out when we stayed, so my amputee husband had to climb the stairs to get to the second floor. On the second night, they transferred us to a bigger room on the first floor with a walk-in shower at no extra charge. Staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Check in was easy, location was ideal, bathroom and sheets were clean. These are all of the perks and amenities that this hotel offered. The biggest complaint that I have is the elevator was broken… not really a big deal but definitely extra work to tote everything up stairs for a weekend stay! However because the elevator was broken and the stairs were the only way to get in and out of the different levels it was non stop in and out and slamming of the “broken” door to the stairwell. Let me add that I was given the room right across the hall from this door. All night long when trying to sleep people in and out and the door is heavy and hard to open… once it’s opened it slams shut. The most miserable sleep I have tried to obtain in years. Bathroom light was more like candlelight… so no point in trying to put on makeup in there. Refrigerator was a big block of ice inside and froze our drinks. Cushions on the window seat were stained and looked dirty. I just can’t stress how terrible it was trying to sleep and to top it all off I’m sure the floor was softer than the bed. I do not typically leave reviews or complain… but instead I roll with the punches… but room 201 does not need to be booked to anyone until the elevator is in working conditions. Period!!!

Lots of things nearby but still tucked away quietly. Friendly staff. Reserved a room with the extra living space but did not get it. Room was non smoking but still had the odor. Bathroom seat was broken and door kept locking us out.

Room next to us were super loud, rooms walls are somewhat thin. Staff was super nice. Good handicapped room. Parking lot could be bigger though. Near a lot of places.

Booked two rooms over the weekend. We came back around 6pm and neither rooms were cleaned. Went downstairs to request new towels and were informed they were having laundry issues. When we asked why they didn’t clean the rooms they didn’t have any excuse and just said they didn’t know why it wasn’t cleaned. Didn’t even offer to clean afterwards and didn’t care. They just said to file a complaint if we booked online. We did once we got back home and hotel refused refund and noted they were just having laundry issues. Not sure how that’s an excuse to clean the rest of the room. Would not recommend hotel. Parts are a bit run down, noisy, and staff/management do not care about customer concerns or satisfaction given our experience.

Close to the soccer complex close to malls and restaurants. Room was clean but bathroom fan didnt work, a/c unit did not cool enough. Other than that not bad for price. Oh yeha take your own towl front desk didnt have extra towls had to use 2 towls for 4 persons.

It is in a very good place, many facilities around, but, he says with breakfast included and what they give there is not breakfast, they are some snacks, and waffles, the elevator does not work, the cleaning is terrible, we were installed for 4 days and on the third day, I had to ask them to clean my room, otherwise they would not have done it, a single towel in the shower for two people, and when I asked for more the next day, I had to take the one I had used, otherwise they would not give me another one, I know they can offer better service for what they charge.

The breakfast bar had very little to offer, and no one to maintain it. The milk was left out without ice which is not the smartest thing. The coffee maker in the room did not work, and the refrigerator was totally iced over. The price was excellent, which I totally appreciate. The person who checked us in was quite amiable and helpful.
