Very basic. Told us we had a bathroom to use as there were no rooms ready to check us in early - the bathroom was mucky and the floor had puddles of water in it. The room was very basic, banged my head a few times when bending down to use the plugs. Won’t stay here again.

Check in was quick and easy, but the room has not been properly cleaned. Sticky stain on the desk and a stain on the chair. Front-desk staff was helpful, trying to clean them for me, but overall, the hotel needs to make sure rooms are cleaned properly.

It’s a budget hotel with tiny rooms. The person at reception had a hard time finding my Hotels.com-made reservation, so that’s something to look out for. It’s a bit far from the most fun things in Manchester, but walkable, if you’re game.

Pros: Convenient location, close to the city centre, with a Sainsbury's within walking distance. Reasonably priced. Overall, the staff were quite friendly. Cons: The floor in the room was dirty. The room showed noticeable signs of wear and tear. The bathroom had no window and smelled musty. The bed was not very comfortable.
