First of all, we arrived well after the official check-in time, and yet the desk manager knew we were coming and stayed up very late to allow us to check in. Awesome customer service and greatly appreciated! The rooms were quaint, smartly decorated, quiet, and very functional. Ardross Glencairn is located right next to downtown Inverness, and right across the street from the Highland Games field. The rooms were old, but that was part of the charm of staying there, and they were clean and well appointed. I will choose to stay here again when we return to Inverness in the future.

We loved our stay here. We were a short 10 minute walk to the river and main part of town that looks up to the Castle. Parking was easy if you wanted to park overnight as the paid parking hours ended each day at 5 pm. The breakfast was great with friendly service by the staff.

Parking is superb. Room is comfy and clean. Price is excellent for Inverness city at this time of the year. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Good access to places to eat out. Breakfast is a typical buffet and while there's plenty of food on offer, regular guests would probably appreciate a little variety from time to time (maybe a wee bit of haggis or a tattie scone now and then ?).

Needed a fan to get air moving. Very warm first night. Mattress was older, could use replacement. Staff very helpful to get me pillows more to my liking which helped.
