Canyons Lodge was close to Zion National Park. The service was awesome and the staff we spoke to and interacted with were friendly and helpful. Their sister property across the street had a restaurant called Sego. It was spectacular and delicious! Our room was clean and inviting and the pool was great after a day of hiking.

The hotel was charming with a mountain cabin vibe. The grounds were well kept. Staff was friendly and attractive at this getaway retreat. The only downside was the unavoidable traffic noise from the highway. Bring earplugs and enjoy.

Beautiful room with lots of room for our family. The outside area around the hotel is full of spaces for lounging. When we checked in we were greeted and walked to our room. Spectacular views!

This hotel was terrific for us. Outside it has a log cabin look. It has very pretty foliage outside, a lovely pool and seating area with fire pit. It has two floors. We had room 14 upstairs. There is a chair outside of each room where you can sit and see the sunset. It had a king bed, very soft linens, nice waffle cotton bathrobes. Large modern TV. Fun seating area with a little table and chairs covered in a cow print material and a nice Native American rug on the wall. Very clean. Travis is the owner. We learned he owns both the lodge we stayed in and the hotel next door that looks like it was converted from an old center-hall colonial style house. There is also an amazing restaurant in that part of the hotel with a top chef. Travis made dinner reservations for us there. Food was fab. He is extremely welcoming and accommodating. He even knew the tour guide we were using for our slot canyon tour the next day and got the guide to pick us up at the hotel. Really a lovely stay.id have liked to stay longer than one night.

What a great motel, the staff who run it were so friendly, the amenities were great, fantstic room, breakfast served in hotel across the street was superb, we really enjoyed our stay here, the worst thing about it, was it was for only 2 nights, we could have stayed longer

This place is a gem. Travis was wonderful with ideas of things to do, easy check in, beautiful pool and rooms. I highly recommend adding the breakfast buffet for 10$ a person. It’s right next door and it’s delicious!!!!

We loved our stay here. The owner, Travis, showed us our room, gave recommendations for meals and checked on us via texting throughout our stay. Each night he lit the firepit and it was fun to share our day with fellow travelers. After this stay, we decided we would focus on staying at locally owned hotels-a more personalized experience.

What a great boutique hotel in Kanab. Room was clean, nice sized and well-appointed. Check-in staff was super nice and gave us a good dinner recommendation to the Rocking V. They are a bit shy on parking if they are full so get there early.

The hotel room was super clean and looked neat. It has a country/ cowboyish theme. It is well put together and decorated nice. Nothing seemed cheap. The owner is a great guy. Super nice and helpful. I have to say...there was no weird smells and no carpet. I hate nasty smelling rooms so I was happy.

Our bathroom had bad smells and when we told the lady at desk she came in with all the supplies (they knew about this room) to pour down the drains to help. Hotel was booked and no other rooms open. We kept the door close and exhaust fan going and ilsmell didn’t get into room. We didn’t take showers in morning worried about back flow. Owner came by and we mentioned welcome to The Desert. No there is a plumbing code and it needs to be fixed, but he has the hotel booked and no plans to fix.

This was my 4th stay at Canyons Lodge. Travis was the perfect host. The rooms are spotless, decent wifi, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Sego restaurant in the main hotel serves amazing food with lots of vegetarian options.

We really enjoyed this property. It was super clean. It had hooks in the bathroom for towels, nightlights to see, bathrobes. You could just tell they cared about their guests. It is off the main street so you could hear the cars and trucks at night but nothing loud enough to wake me up. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was ok. Not sure it is worth the $10 though.

The Cabin was very small and cramped. The bed was very comfortable. The TV was about 15 inches and did not work as directed by the instructions. The heating unit was loud and woke me up every time it went on. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The lodge was like a hotel but better. Travis was very communicative and accommodating. The room was small but it has everything you need and more. Very clean and updated, comfy bed and great quality bedding. Microwave, a desk, mini fridge, keurig and ROBES! I will stay here again and again.

Such a nice motel! And Travis is an excellent host, giving us tips about dining and about making future reservations. The room we reserved was a "cozy" room, a fact not made clear on Expedia. It was a lovely room, but there wasn\'t much space. It was great for one night, and the price was great. The $10 breakfast buffet was delicious.

This property is amazing! We had one of the cottage rooms. Smelled like a spa, they had robes available, nice big rooms, and very clean. The check in process was quick and easy. The front desk walked us to our room to show us where it was. Highly recommend this place!

I really enjoyed my recent stay at this property a few nights last week. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth with my stay. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant (Sego) was beyond terrific. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Kanab.

This is a true gem in Kanab. Travis got us on a tour of Best Friends Sanctuary and was a wealth of information on dining and how to navigate out to Capitol Reef National Park and Grand Staircase Escalante. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Utah.

We have been traveling a lot. This has been our favorite hotel stay so far! Travis the owner is on site and he was so nice. Erik at the front desk was equally as nice! We ate at a wonderful restaurant that they recommended. We could not have been more pleased with our room. They even had bathrobes!! Thank you, Travis!!

Very nice small place to stay. We selected this place for the ground floor rooms. The room we were assigned was part of a separate cottage that was very close to the main highway so this particular room was quite loud, but with the air conditioning running it helped to drown out the noise. Other rooms are located more set back from the road and they may be a bit quieter. The room was clean and had everything needed. This is strange to say but the toilet seat was not very comfortable. Other than that, a great little place to stay!

We stayed just one night on the way to Zion. The room was immaculate, nicely decorated and comfortable. The location was close to outdoor activities and interesting dining options in Kanab. The manager allowed us to check in early and provided information on local dining and shopping. The only reason I rate it 4 stars rather than 5 is that it is very close to the road and noisy. Not only did we hear traffic noise, but 2 people arguing in another room kept us awake several times in the night. Also, despite the pool being closed, there was a nightly resort fee. This is not a large property and we did not take advantage of the fire pit due to the proximity to the road.

Canyons Lodge was close to Zion National Park. The service was awesome and the staff we spoke to and interacted with were friendly and helpful. Their sister property across the street had a restaurant called Sego. It was spectacular and delicious! Our room was clean and inviting and the pool was great after a day of hiking.

We got there late, abt 930pm, but someone was waiting for us & welcomed us warmly. Check in was quick & easy although don’t know why we were charged a $25 incidentals fee as there were none. The guy literally took us to the room, showed us the 2 complimentary bottles of water & even found us a parking spot. The room was small but that’s what we paid for. Very clean, cozy. Our bed was very comfortable although the top sheet was thin, slept well, woke up refreshed. When we last stayed there the free continental breakfast pastries were a step up from the normal. Now it’s a hot breakfast for $10 each; food was good but would have been better if it was included. Still, at least we had a choice. Checkout was convenient, just put ur key in a basket in the office.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at this property a few nights last week. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth with my stay. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant (Sego) was beyond terrific. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Kanab.

Great place to stay. Cute small room with everything we needed. Even had complimentary bottles of water to welcome us. Bathrobes were provided. Comfortable bed. Staff was exceptional. Eric worked the front desk and he was great. Location great. Breakfast not worth the $10-only complaint but overall highly recommend

Travis was excellent at our checking in & offering to help with our luggage. The room was wonderful with many immensities such as shower gel, and even q tips! Beds we very comfy and had very good linens. The grounds were beautifully maintained and with flowers all around. Travis recommended several restaurants and we chose to go across the street to their sister boutique hotel for dinner. It was so fantastic we had dinner there and breakfast the next morning!! Outstanding foods both times. I’m sorry I dont live closer to go back for meals!

This place is a gem. Travis was wonderful with ideas of things to do, easy check in, beautiful pool and rooms. I highly recommend adding the breakfast buffet for 10$ a person. It’s right next door and it’s delicious!!!!

Such a nice motel! And Travis is an excellent host, giving us tips about dining and about making future reservations. The room we reserved was a "cozy" room, a fact not made clear on Expedia. It was a lovely room, but there wasn\'t much space. It was great for one night, and the price was great. The $10 breakfast buffet was delicious.

We really enjoyed this property. It was super clean. It had hooks in the bathroom for towels, nightlights to see, bathrobes. You could just tell they cared about their guests. It is off the main street so you could hear the cars and trucks at night but nothing loud enough to wake me up. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was ok. Not sure it is worth the $10 though.

If I could give more starts I would. From the moment we arrived Travis and Nicole greeted us with a smile and were very helpful. The room is comfortable, the breakfast was very good. My only complaint is the AC is a bit loud but I'm a light sleeper. I will come back when I'm in Kanab. Thanks Travis, for taking such good care of your guests. Nicole is also a gem, we had some good conversations with her and she always there to help.

This day was fantastic. We booked last minute and arrived, and the staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed the room itself. And the breakfast in the morning was nothing short of extraordinary. We'll definitely book again and would highly recommend
