The location was terrific making it easy to catch an Uber to pretty much anywhere you wanted to go. Pool & fitness area were as expected & the room was comfortable. We were here for 4 nights. Loved that it was attached to the mall.

From the time you enter the hotel, the staff is kind and very efficient. Check in was easy and the rooms were clean and with all modern amenities. Ideally located at Albrook Mall. Breakfast was also very good.

the hotel has gone through 3 different owners and now its the marriott i have stayed here during the 3 changes of owners and the only thing that changes is the price ot keeps going up! but the condition of the hotel stays the same! marriott should change out all the red carpet in the hall it smells and the carpet in the room feels dirty the quality of the breakfast buffet has gone down hill the juices are watered down and the bacon is really cheap my mom ordered an omellette and it was raw inside if marriott is going to be charging 246.00 per night then the hotel should be cleaner and at 20+ for the buffet the breakfast food needs to be better there are many other hotels in panama city that are cheaper and offer better food

My stay at this hotel was very satisfying. Starting from the valets outside of the building all the way to the front desk, impeccable service. The front desk was accommodating and very professional. The breakfast was great however I believe a wider variety of food should be taken into consideration to be served. The hotel being located in the mall was so convenient, after a long day of walking, we. Ohms simply retire in our hotel room on one end of the mall. My two complaints were the smell of the room, the room was musty, most likely from the carpets. It’s due for a shampoo and should be aired out properly. My second complaint was that my room was located DIRECTLY under the 24/7 gym. I could hear weights dropping, machines clanking and even someone skipping rope. This occurred during the night time as well. I’m all for a 24/7 gym but something has to be put in place for the noise, relocate the gym if possible. All in all, my stay was great and I will visit again.

Housekeeping did not replenish toiletries, coffee cofee cups, lotion at all. These were only replenished upon request. The television was not working. However the front desk promptly replaced it after i reported it, which was great.

Clean hotel close to a huge mall. Very reasonably priced. The TV had English channels and I was even able to watch college football. I will be back when in Panama City. Highly recommend.

Everything was fantastic. From arrival to departure. All staff was attentive. I loved that they took initiative to assist me whenever I had a look of being lost … which is often … I am 70. So I appreciated the care and attention at the front desk, in the breakfast and in the room. Thank you all so very much and see you soon!!!

The hotel staff was amazing! We arrive from a red eye flight with our young daughter sick. When my husband went to take her a medical clinic nearby, the hotel staff informed us they can have a doctor from the clinic come to our hotel room to attend to her. This was great since our daughter was so sleepy. She was able to nap while waiting for the doctor. After the doctor prescribed antibiotics and other medicines, a hotel staff member volunteered to take the prescriptions to be filled for us. We did not need to even leave our hotel! The next afternoon, we returned to our room to find a platter with banana/carrot bread on a plate the said “Get Well Soon!” written in chocolate, a plate of fruit and two containers of orange juice. It was so thoughtful. Our daughter (and son) loved it!

RewriteWonderful hotel with great staff. I particularly want to shout out Karen. What a lovely front desk staff. Very accomodating and she did it with a smile. The location was perfect. Although not in Casco Viejo, it was only like a $4 uber ride away. It is connected to the Albrook mall which has lots of shopping and food. Will definitely stay here again. However pool was small and extremely crowded

This hotel is attached to a mall which is super convenient and has over 700 stores including Zara! The hotel is also in walking distance to Starbucks. The hotel is about 10-20 mins away from most things in the downtown are but Ubers were cheap.

Great in many ways: but restaurant food is way over priced for the area. Involuntary servitude to get get your own drinking water and only one single serving: one bottle to put it in no bag in trash cans (Imagine throwing away wet stinky onion, used baby diapers, and sanitary napkins with no bag and nothing to wrap them in!)

It was my 1st time in Panama and the Marriott Panama Hotel provided a very convenient experience for shopping and recreation. My experience wasn't without some cons though, I got locked out of my room twice due to a faulty locking mechanism but the staff swiftly sorted that issue out. The other con in my opinion, was that the breakfast options were very limited even though it was buffet style, I practically had identical options for the 4 nights I stayed at the the hotel. Overall the experience was very good with friendly staff and a clean property. I would highly recommend this hotel for anybody visiting Panama for the 1st time.

L'hôtel est propre et bien tenu (mis à part les fenêtres dont l'extérieur ne semble pas avoir été lavé depuis belle lurette). L'emplacement est idéal pour les amateurs de centres commerciaux mais ne se prête pas à l'immersion culturelle. Les plus aventeureux pourront cependant sauter dans le métro annexé au Mall pour partir à l'exploration de la ville. Le personnel est poli et stylé. Nous déconseillons aux Nord-Américains le buffet matinal du restaurant Canal, très achalandé, bruyant, nourriture tiède et plutôt dispendieux. Rendez-vous plutôt au petit comptoir alimentaire du Café Met, à deux pas de l'hôtel (dans le mall). La nourriture est excellente, les cafés sont délicieux et les prix, raisonnables. Bref, cet hôtel est plus qu'adéquat pour les séjours de courte durée, par exemple, une nuitée entre deux vols. On y dort très bien et le service est irréprochable.

This is just another business-traveler-like Marriott. It's real claim is it's location to a very large indoor shopping mall. We stayed there because it was next door to the bus station that we needed to get across to Colon. Breakfast was kinda sorta typical.
