Hôtel Club Val d'Anfa Casablanca Ocean view

The hotel is rather dated but average. The pool area has minimal seating for the size of the Hotel. The staff at the front desk were super nice. The staff at pool restaurant were absolutely horrible. The hotel is very centrally located on the Cornishe, but that comes along with a lot of noise.

The hotel was under renovations and pool was closed. Room view was great and good restaurant.

A beautiful, comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The pool area is gorgeous and a welcome oasis on hot days.

Hotel right in front of the ocean with pools, bars, and good restaurants. The food is really good and the restaurant has a belly dance show every night. All the bars and clubs are 2 minute walk away. Staff was amazing, very nice people. Only thing i didn't like was there was no suana :(

Average hotel overall. Reception staff welcoming, informative and friendly. Bar/restaurant staff slow and slightly rude. They concentrated on serving the business clientele. Pool area is looked over from the bar, which definitely stopped us using it, nobody by the pool the 3 days we were there.

The Valentines dinner was amazing. The ambiance that was created was above par. The staff at the front desk was helpful and polite. The facilities were nice. Loved the ability to walk to the beach from the hotel within a minute. I missed the notification that the Spa was under construction but the front desk did provide advice for alternative spas and discounts for services at the new place.

Pool area was nice, room was nice. Gym would be good except there are no plugs for any of the equipment so you couldn't use anything but tread mill and free weights. Weird. Also, this is NOT the hotel's fault, but the nearby beach is kind of dirty and there's a really bad rip current, so you can't swim there. Lots of good restaurants nearby though and the area seemed safe and pretty nice.

Full and frank rating of this hotel: Staff: polite and friendly. We had to repeat our food / drink orders to the pool bar staff a few times as they seemed to forget what we’d ordered, but to be fair to them we speak English and they speak Arabic and French, so this may be due to the translation issues. Location: this hotel is located at the top end of the Corneche. It’s about 3 miles to the Hassan II mosque and the Souks. 20 mins or so in a taxi. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and clubs and is close to a roundabout on the main road. The hotel looks to have had 1/2 of it refurbished recently. The refurbished rooms are the smaller ones apparently and are further away from the street / club noise. On check in we were placed by the main road and moved the day after due to the noise. We were moved further away from the noise of the street and clubs but it still disturbed our sleep. Food: The food was good. Breakfast is worth paying for. Dinners / evening meals were good, marginally more expensive than other restaurants but convenient and of high quality. Facilities: Pool was excellent and even though there were limited sun beds there always seemed to be enough to go around. Special thanks to the very attentive pool guy who was all over moving beds / parasols and supplying / changing the complimentary towels. The hotel is modern in reception, restaurant and pool areas. The suites are a little dated but clean and presentable. 5* for staff effort, noise lets it down.

Very nice furniture in Marocain style with oriental flair. Beautifull view towards the beach and ocean from the restaurant and the room. The pool area is a bit to small for a hotel that size, no activities at the hotel. The breakfast buffet offered was good and all fresh. Perfect service of the staff and very friendly, also at the restaurant. Good choice of menues, delicious and well priced.

Odadaki halı çok eski, haliyle koku rahatsız edici oldu. Hijyenik de değil. Kahvaltıda kahve Makinesi her sabah arızalandı. Kahvaltı yetersiz, çeşit yok. Tabaklar yıkanmamış gibi gördüm. Sadece silinmiş sanki. Çalışanları kibar ve yardımcılar.

Restaurant had good food, great setting for viewing sunset. Breakfast was good, lots of variety. Rooms were clean. Cleaning staff friendly and accommodating

Great hotel near the beach. Breakfast is fantastic. Our room had a bit of ants during our stay. That’s my only complaint :)

Die Junior-Suite lag im alten betagten Flügel des Hotels. An diesen Teil grenzten 2 Hauptstraßen und gegenüber ein Nachtlokal. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte für 30 min. nur, wenn man die Sicherung einschaltet. Der Techniker sah das als selbstverständlich an. Die verschmierten Fenster und Glastüren wurden trotz Bitte nicht geputzt. Das Restaurant-Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für Badeurlaub im Meer ist das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen, da der breite flache Strand von Fußballfans genutzt wird.

The place is conveniently located on the main sea road with plenty of dining options nearby. But it is very old and in dire need of significant renovation. The carpets smell of smoke, and from curtains to windows to faucets, everything seems to need attention or repair. The bar at the entrance brings all the usual looking-for-something guys who seem to smoke away their lives. That smoke seems to permeate the entire property! Breakfast is terrible and not worth the time or effort, even free. They seem incapable of making a single omelet without either leaving eggs uncooked or burned!

Would not stay at this property again. There was a musty smell in the room and when brought it to the attention of the front desk staff they offered to spray “ perfume” in the room. It is very outdated, dark and dingy. The furniture and carpets are very old. The front desk staff were not very helpful.

Hotel is in good location, all rooms have partial ocean view, hotel has good amenities, however the room was not super clean when we checked in, furniture is dated, breakfast was decent but not super.

The standard rooms were super-8 motel quality. Not very quiet, above a noisy traffic area. Supreme rooms were lovely overlooking pool. Much quieter and upscale.

I wasn't able to sleep as room I was in was facing the street and there were lots of people shouting throughout my stay.

Walls are very thin though and as other reviews showed has low pressure and doesn’t remain consistent with temperature but was still ok. One minor issue at the end I had extra money debited from my credit card although we’d paid in full receptionist denied that the hotel had done this despite me showing her my account and the transaction.

Shower in room was terrible Very difficult to get a comfortable temperature. Either scorching hot or freezing cold...nothing in the middle

The staff is great and there are options for food. The rooms were fine and comfortable. My only Issue was the noise from the street was unbearable. Every night I struggled to sleep from the traffic and chaos from the street - at all hours of the night.

Helt greit hotell som har vært veldig pent for noen år siden, men som nå er blitt litt slitt. Fikk et rom hvor air-conditioning ikke virket, så det ble ekstremt varmt. Det var koblet til et sentralt anlegg, så vil tro anlegget er dårlig på alle rom. Pent fellesområde og er flott basseng.

The junior suits are not directly facing the ocean , the additional building is the one that has rooms facing the ocean .

Room was good size. Old building, very noisy area and thing walls. You can hear the neighbors showering, talking and coming and going. Street traffic is endless through the day and night these drivers love to honk! One of our keys did not work, next morning we ask for this to be fixed and the lady reprogram it. At our return the key still didn't work. Went back in the afternoon and the lady at the front desk very rude, gave us some attitude because we asked her to replace the useless key. She wanted to use same card and sent the bellboy with us to verify that will work, bellboy was busy with other guests and we were on our way out so we complained and finally she was forced to provide the new one. I had a second reservation at the same place for another couple of days before flying out back home. I cancelled it. Did not want poor service and a very noisy stay again. Also, the washroom can use a better cleaning practice.

The room was missing towels at after I've checked in. Plus they've attempted to double charge me for the breakfast while I've paid for that upfront at their desk. The rest of the experience was quite good while the area around the hotel is full of panhandlers and feels unsafe.

This is really good hotel. Room was clean, nice view on sea, breakfast very good. Location is great. My evaluation OK is due to a situation during money exchange on the reception. Employee tried to cheat me, gave me money and start doing other job in a different corner of the reception.There is no paper confirmation of money exchange. All staff is doing a great job there, but one situation made that bad image.

The photos make it look like it’s right on the beach, while it is, there’s an old abandoned water park right in front of the balcony. The front staff was nice. The bartender was very rude and did not serve me and only my husband. The bartender served me already served olives where an eaten olive pit was hidden in my dish. Very gross and intentional. We went to another restaurant to eat because my beverage and salad never was ordered by the bartender. Out of all the places we have traveled, never have I been disappointed and ignored as a person and especially as a woman. Funny thing is that there was a single woman to my right drinking and being served while 3 other woman at one table were enjoying there’s. Very disappointing.

We stayed here as a family of 4 in a junior suite. The service and friendliness was outstanding. Admittedly French is my first language, and my knowledge of Arabic is basic so I was able to communicate easily and understand the culture well. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staff, everyone was friendly. It can be a little noisy with the traffic and beeping but in all honesty it's a minor issue. The beds were comfortable, the kids slept well on their beds too. The balcony/terrace was lovely to enjoy a coffee in the morning. The pool was a little cool but it was October but the sea which is a 5 min walk away was an enjoyable and invigorating experience. The food at the hotel was marvellous nice broad range of choice and good quality. My favourite was the omelette station for breakfast in the morning. The staff were attentive and lovely and accommodating, helps if you speak the language and have knowledge of the culture. The hotel is well placed to access the tram which we used to go into town, walk along the sea towards the malls, and many eateries. The rooms were made every day by lovely staff always felt nice to come back to. Not much negative to say really but we have very simple needs and expectations. I would definitely stay here again. The cost for what you get is a bargain.

Very nice Hotel, close to the Ocean and to many restaurants and clubs. Room was quite big, very clean and confortable. Excellent service at the reception and in bar and restaurants. I found a good expresso coffee at the bar and had dinner at the typical restaurant. Everything was fine! Thanks

Beautiful room and beautiful view. Staff were very helpful to get me taxis. I wasn’t a huge fan of the restaurant, not good service and food was overpriced and average tasting.

This was a good hotel in a good location close to the sea - about a mile or so from the city centre. Our room and public areas were all very comfortable and well maintained. Our only complaint was the service in the restaurant, which was fairly unfriendly at evening meal times. At breakfast the buffet was chaotic with staff slow to replenish some dishes of food - along with cutlery, glassware and crockery. Plus one of the coffee machines was broken which meant long queues to get a hot drink.

This was an excellent choice for us. It is a beautiful facility and very well run. We ate in the restaurant, outside on the patio, and in their special authentic moroccan dinner with belly dancing restaurant as well. The foos was all delicious and nicely served.

Il Marocco è un bellissimo Paese tra le altre cose conosciuto per il senso dell'ospitalità. L'Hotel Club Val d'Anfa non fa eccezione, ottimo hotel, situato a un passo dall'Oceano e da La Corniche offre un servizio eccellente. Ha degli ottimi bar e ristoranti, aperitivo o colazione vista oceano, ho cenato al ristorante tipico marocchino con piatti e decorazione tipica. Ho soggiornato in una suite, pulizia eccellente, spaziosa il letto molto grande, comodo ho dormito benissimo. Tutto si può pagare con la carta di credito o in Euro, in due giorni (viaggio di lavoro) non ho cambiato valuta). Assolutamente raccomandato.
