Alicia at front desk was wonderdful. Hotel and rooms are nice. Issues. Pool is not working. Ice maker on out floor wasn't working. Hotel lobby temp was oppressive. Positives. I recieced Hilton points for the lack of pool. All of staff were friendly and kind.

The room wasn't the cleanest. Mildew in the corners & on the slides for the door. Stains everywhere, walls, carpets & door frames. The shelves & dishes were dusty. I forgot my slippers so wore my socks. They were stained from the dirty floors. Breakfast running untill 9am is inconvenient. Wish it ran untill 10a on weekdays. The juice machine put out warm liquids. The orange juice was watered down...or just out all morning. But who wants warm OJ anyways. The pool was shut down, which was important as my 6 yr old loves an indoor pool & it was planned to spend some time in it. I received no notifications as i would have changed to a different hotel if i was made aware. The lobby temp was gross. It was way to hot. The only saving grace was the employees. They were all amazing & we genuinely looked forward to seeing them. They were all so sweet with my daughter. Loved them. If it wasn't for them i would have given 1 star. I would not stay at this location again unless there were no other options.

Great staff! Tiny pool was overcrowded. Nice little gym with good equipment. Best possible location for Philadelphia Convention center. Parking convenient but expensive. Could use some room updates, new beds and room could have and should have been cleaner. Overall I will most likely stay agai. For an event at Convention Center. Either here or Hampton Inn are decent options. Should have more than 1 waffle maker and probably another toaster or 2 at the free breakfast. Excellent location, staff and price so overall I was pretty much satisfied.

The parking situation was not smooth. It was a couple of us with a good bit of luggage. What made up for was where the hotel was conveniently, located walking distance from nearly everything we wanted to do. There were a couple of things in my room that were out of order. However, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was filling with different options, and the lobby was open and inviting.

Pool was cloudy and looked dirty. Upon check in we were given keys to our room that didn’t work, were moved to another room, the keys still didn’t work, and it took an hour with 4 different employees to get our keys to work. The elevator buttons were sticking and/or weren’t registering our floor. Even with the electronic key, it would not select our floor.

Great location and Great staff. Exercise equipment was broke. Pool was really small. Rooms in transition of being renovated. Was in town for a week for vb tournament at convention center and was great for walking and seeing the city. Would stay there again.

Conveniently located. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was generous and in-room amenities were sufficient. Unfortunately there was a huge cockroach in my room and staff were unable to remove it, but did helpfully offer to switch my room. The pool was out of service.

there were mice in my room!! we made a complaint at the front desk there were mice in the room and tgey didn't address it, after complaining multiple times we got a refund of one day. everything was dirty the microwave was dirty there was mold in the bathroom shower and toothpaste on the faucet handles.

The staff is very friendly and the location is great, esp. if you love food (across the street is Reading Terminal Market) BUT our room smelled like dirty socks for all 4 days we were there. The rug felt damp the entire time. The air would run but the air was just gross, not crisp. We were too busy getting our son ready for his move-in to be fussy about it, but we will not stay there again when visiting our kid at Drexel.

first room given the key did not work. Second room given had a mouse that woke me up at 3am. Changed rooms to different floor. New room was better but beds are very old feeling and uncomfortable. Next morning, the key scan lock to my new room quit working and required maintenance. Staff was friendly and quick to help and resolve problems but the cleanliness was not up to what I would expect with a Hilton hotel.

Great location, right across Reading Terminal Market where you can find just about anything you’d dream of eating. However, first night I find a roach on my pillow, hair on the “cleaned” toilet… front desk seems miserable and don’t make an effort to be friendly. No fans, AC was not functioning downstairs, it was quite stuffy. Room smelled and gave me allergies both nights… I just don’t think the staff cares to do anything beyond the bare minimum. That said, I’d stay again just for the location — would bring a vacuum and disinfectant spray next time, and a fan.

Staff was great. Live mouse in the room. Next room had broken lightening. Disappointing when you’re paying $400 per night. Excellent proximity to the Convention center and across the street from the Reading Terminal Market which was great.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the full kitchen was very nice even for just a one night stay. The location is amazing with Reading Terminal Market directly across the street and plenty of other dining and shopping options a short walk away. I don’t understand some of the negative nitpicking reviews I saw, this place was great and a bargain price given the location.

We spent 3 nights in Philadelphia to see friends and go to art museums. Location of the hotel is good for us- across from market, close to transit and shopping. Hotel is newly decorated, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean; we especially appreciated the well-designed kitchenette. Only complaints: WiFi was bad (cut in and out and sometimes couldn’t send essential email). The a/c in the lobby and breakfast area was not working enough to beat the outdoor temperatures in the 90’s. It was miserable to wait or have breakfast there. Most of all, we felt very sorry for staff working at reception or cleaning the areas!!

Pros: 1. Friendly staff 2. Clean rooms and facilities 3. Very convenient location; right across the street from Reading Terminal 4. Several options for breakfast (on the weekends) 5. Several security measures in place 6. Parking garage right next door Cons: 1. Old, lumpy, squeaky mattresses (really kind of surprised us) 2. Lumpy, old pillows (again...wouldn't have imagined) 3. The pool is extremely small. There was a family of 6 in the pool when we arrived, and there was no room for us. Literally....tiny. We never had a chance to go in it. I now assume this is the standard size for all the Home2Suites.We stayed at another one last year and had the same issue.

The hotel is very convenient to the activities we selected prior to our trip.When we checked in, the first floor was stiflingly hot and fortunately, front desk staff checked us in quickly. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly At breakfast, the heat from guests and the food warming equipment made the first floor even more uncomfortable. We ate quickly and left. When we returned, it was clear that a hotel staff member had entered the room while we were gone. There was a “guest notice” left in the room. The tip I had left for the housekeeper was taken but the room had not been cleaned. In text communications with hotel reps, I was told management was informed but the room was never cleaned. Lastly, the Wi-Fi is good when you can get. With four people using individual devices, two would periodically get kicked off and had to log back in if they were not constantly using the device.

The staff was phenomenal. My fiancee has an elevator fear and they kindly walked her to and from our floor to lobby. The gentleman that does security during the day was very helpful and informative. Feel he went out of his way for us. All the staff was amazing!

Check in is 4:00pm. Room was not ready until and the clerk told me it would not not be ready until 6:00 pm and she would text me when it was ready Waited in lobby for 2 hours no text or call. Went to desk and asked would it might ready she looked at her paperwork and asked me. You’re checked in and I looked at her and said. No you never texted and she laughs and says oh must have marked your name off by mistake. Then I finally got my key and got my room. There’s a few for late check out. But nothing for making me wait for 2 hours very disappointed

Poor customer service. Coffee maker without coffee in the room. No sheets for sofa bed. Reserved king room and got a double. Front desk said they gave our room away. Guy at desk interrupted my questions. Not worth the money.

It was a nice hotel while staying for a comic con. The staff were nice, the breakfast was good and it was comfortable. Keep in mind that this is right across reading terminal and theres always music or drumming but thays not the hotel's fault

Loved the hotel. Great location and proximity to the city center. Being directly across from Reading Terminal Market was perfect. The lobby, halls and room was clean and well appointed. Safety and security inside was excellent. My only complaint was with the mass of homeless people around the hotel.

I wish they had ice water along with hot water and coffee in the lobby. Breakfast area was chaotic and the kitchen couldn't keep up with the flow of the customers. Parking was offsite, so it as not very convenient.

Front desk staffwas very nice and helpful. No air conditioning in lobby (where breakfast was) & it was unbelievably hot. The pool is extremely tiny. Signs said breakfast ran until 10. At 9:01 staff shut down breakfast and were very rude when we were trying to grab it quickly at 9:00.

This hotel is very well kept and in a great central location. Some of the furniture is old and in rough shape but still in good enough shape but it’s kept very, very clean. The staff is obviously working hard with what they’ve been given. The breakfast is run incredibly well with lots of options and kept incredibly organized and clean. And what really makes this hotel is the staff. They are all so incredibly friendly, helpful and hard working. They are truly impressive. I would come back and stay here based on the staff alone. Thank you very much for the stay.

All good except the shower water is not too hot and it doesn’t have a lot of pressure. The breakfast could be better. There were no yogurts and the breakfast egg station had sliding doors which it was hard to take the food and it took forever for people to help themselves.

The front desk was very helpful in giving information about things in the area. The reading market was a great place for lunch or snacks. The hotel breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks. The rooms were a good size for a family of four. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location to Convention Center, Reading Market and Hop-on/Hop-off bus. Great staff. Clean. found the buffet breakfast to be disappointing. When I stayed there it was full of families and some elements of food ran out. The only other are either in a breakfast sandwich, in an egg paddy, or hard-boiled.

Room was clean. Shower temp and pressure was great. Breakfast was horrible. Stayed there specifically for the breakfast and couldn't get any the 3 days we were there. The day of checkout, the elevators were out of service. We never had housekeeping. Asked for clean towels and was told they were out. Next day was assured housekeeping would bring them, but they never did.
