Amazing and very clean room with city views. Friendly staff. The only drawback was having to use valet parking at $40 plus tax for one night (although the valets themselves were great). Would definitely stay again.

The bar and bartenders were amazing! Everything was clean and staff were nice. Both restaurants were closed for renovations untill the new year. So that was the only let down. Otherwise we will be staying here again!

Loved our stay! Extremely convenient location, the waterfront is lovely to walk, esp at night. The bridge is lit up, lots of seating and we saw both yoga and dancing, and at night painter came out. Great vibe. Ariel at Front Desk 5 stars! Rooftop restaurant is lovely. L the seating facing the water was blocked by plants, and the music inside was a trifle loud for me. Their outside space was an unexpected find…serene, giant chess set, giant Jenga, umbrellas, lovely seating but also just a grassy section with lounge chairs…something for everyone. We were just passing through but were utterly charmed.

Our family of four stayed here for two nights. Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the area was within walking distance of shops, trails, etc. Our only issue was with the valet service, which we paid $40 per day for: on our last day the attendant didn’t show up, so we had to schlep all of our luggage blocks to our car.

The property was very clean. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Gave us recommendations on where to go where to eat where to hang out the lobby bar was also very nice. The rooms were super Duper clean very nice. I had a room on the fifth floor, which had a nice view. Overall, I would say my stay was pretty good. Also, they charge for parking so we parked on the street which was way less overall I spent maybe seven dollars for parking the whole weekend versus $40 a night.

There is a bar on the rooftop. We chose this partially because of that bar. It was only open 2 of the six nights we were there. One night was closed for a private party and another night we were told they had in adequate staffing. The other two nights were regular close nights which we did not see on the website. We had two days in a row that our room was not cleaned. We got back to our room at 7:00 p.m. the second night and had to ask that clean towels, toilet paper and water be brought to the room. When they did clean the rooms they did a great job.

The property was nice. The room was spacious. The beds were not very comfortable, but we were able to sleep. The room was clean other than the furniture covered with material that had stains, so we just didn’t use them. I parked in a lot down the street for $20 rather than spending $40 to park at the hotel. Overall, I would stay here again.

Based on six nights of stay, I would definitely come back. The room was clean but I noticed a couple of spots on the floor where some dust and a piece of candy were missed, which I consider a minor issue. The two members of housekeeping I encountered were very helpful, attentive and kind. Acoustics, however, is not the best. The door and walls did not block enough sound, so I could hear people's murmurs and doors.

This hotel sacrifices basic comforts for (pretty cringey) style. Bathroom had no door (curtain instead) and only a partial wall separating the area from the rest of the room. The toilet had a pocket door, but be very comfortable sharing your friends' and family's bathroom habits before booking here. Room meant to accommodate 4 people had a total of 4 hangers on an open rod by the door. No place to hang hand or bath towels (we used the precious hangers.) Automatic night light in bathroom wall socket shines through the spaces in the partial wall directly onto the pillows of one of the beds. Toilet did not work consistently—we were told we were not “flushing it hard enough.” Could not wait to leave. But the room did have a throw pillow with the word “POW!” in comic-booky letters, if that's your thing…

Design of room was terrible. There is no door separating the shower and sink from the room, only a door to the toilet. When the light in the bathroom was turned on, it flooded into to the bedroom making it impossible for one person to sleep and the other to wash. The toilet also didn't have its own light switch so the full bathroom light was required, once again flooding the bed with light. The room would have been fine for a single person stay but definitely not for a couple. Privacy doesn't exist at this Aloft. The staff were very pleasant and no other issues with the property.

Room was great. Front desk was very polite and helpful. The only complaint is that the room I had faced an alley where a garbage truck came around 3:30am nightly to collect from a dumpster. That was loud and did wake me up. So, if you can - request a room facing the opposite way of the alley. 😃

The late night front desk staff seemed unprofessional, they were listening to music and seemed more interested in that then helping us. No one told me housekeeping came every other day either. The day shift staff was much more helpful. we were there 4 days and house keeping came once, and didn’t leave us any toilet paper or clean towels. The floors weren’t cleaned either. For the money we paid I was expecting a little more. Also they didn’t have any trash bags which seemed weird to me. It wasn’t terrible. But it wasn’t great either for a hotel with high stars. Also I was in the elevator with some staff and they heavily smelled like marijuana.Which would be fine but I was with my 18 month old daughter. They were also gossiping heavily about management. Very unprofessional especially for a “high end” hotel. I would not stay here again.

What a wonderful staff! Everyone was so friendly and thoughtful. The staff helped with everything from suggesting places to eat, helping find car rental, to giving us a late checkout. Very friendly and kind!!!

The front desk folks were very friendly, but we asked for extra pillows twice and never got them. There are lots of hotels in Providence andbI have stayed in several. I would not stay here again. Room was very bland, poorly set up and not comfortable. The valet parking was great though.

The hotel is conveniently located in central Providence and near highway access and Brown University. The style is hip but they seemed to lack staff at the front and had to wait for service. The amenities in the hotels were also minimal.

Aloft is predictable in a normally good way. The big downside was that the car we valet parked was due out front at 6:45 to get to an important medical procedure. Not only was it not out front as promised, it took 20 minutes before we drove, which added much stress to our morning.

We visited both Bars and had a blast! Staff was so kind and helpful when needed. New in town gave lots of fun things to do within walking distance. Will book here again!

Overall, it was a great stay. Everything was clean in the room. The staff was friendly. I did notice a few things though. The entrance outside could use some love. Giant pots had dirt flowing from the bottom all over the concrete where you enter. This is a simple fix but was not tended to the entire time we were there. The rooftop bar had beautiful views of the downtown area but was extremely understaffed for a holiday weekend. Poor planning on managements part or corporate maybe. One lone waitress for the entire seating area inside and out could barely keep up.

We had a nice stay however there was a very loud party in the room directly next to us which disrupted our sleep. The staff, while friendly and welcoming on check-in, was not very helpful in rectifiying this situation when we complained at 4am and then again at 4:30, and it would've been nice to get SOME sort of comp, but no, nothing. So, I doubt we'll be back to Aloft next time we stay in Providence.

The aloft PVD is located right across from the district park / walking bridge. There are many dining options nearby. It is also conveniently located by Johnson and Wales, for those with students attending JWU.

I had a really nice one-night stay here. It's adjacent to a river front park and I took a walk over the pedestrian bridge. Walkable to many places to eat. I would stay here again!

Stylish hotel in the exposed concrete idiom, comfy bed, some furnishings are a little cheesy and space saving, ie small bench seating with wheelie table instead of table and chairs and couch or easy chair — basically you’ll end up sitting on the bed. Lots of light from big windows with good light blocking blinds. Bathrooms generous but open to rest of room, except for toilet closet, which I guess could be an issue noise wise. The rooftop bar was closed on Sunday nights when I visited, disappointing, other food choices very limited, but that’s RI in Feb for you. Overall good, nice staff, would recommend

This is a great hotel! Staff was very friendly and quick to help with any questions. Exercise room was well equipped, and equipment was in great condition. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfy beds. The downside is that you have to valet, and that can get backed up. Also, there are limited dining options at the hotel, but many in the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Was a beautiful hotel! The staff was so kind and the location was superb. Please note, this hotel lists having breakfast options to go (for a charge) but this is really just part of their refuel station and options are VERY limited. Was expecting more items to choose from.

My wife and I stayed at your hotel because it was close enough to walk to the Providence Seafood Festival. The room was very nice. The bed was really comfortable, we had a great sleep each night. The available food from the kitchen was very good. We called at night our first night there, and we ordered food from the bar our second night there. We were happy with all food we had ordered. Evan, the bartender was fantastic. His knowledge of the art of mixology was immense. We had no issues with any of the hotel’s staff. It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you all.

I liked the room design. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. I also lucked out with an expansive view of the city. The bed was also very comfortable and the room quiet. I had a great 8-hour sleep. The only disappointment was the absence of any breakfast option, particularly given the absence of any breakfast spot in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. There was a brunch beginning at 11, but that was too late for me.
