Absolutely a hidden gem, we stayed 9 nights and loved it. It’s in a laneway so don’t let that put you off. It’s safe and we walked around at night without a care. Great food places around and the staff are extremely helpful to let you know what’s around. We switched to a room with a verandah it was great. Sat out there for our morning coffee, there are cafes very close. It’s clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. And would definitely stay again. Use the punk transport rather than the hop on hop off bus, trains are extremely efficient, the tram takes you to the good swimming beaches, you can walk from the ferry port,

The hotel is very clean , and new from inside. I got a superior room with balcony. It was big enough for 2 and the bathroom also. 2 small things that needed to be added , outdoor furniture and small bathroom accessories to put ur tooth paste and brush

Good, clean single room on top floor with huge balcony. Excellent value. Great AC, mini fridge & TV (1 English channel, BBC, and some music channels). Several steps to the small elevator. Bottles of water sold in lobby (large bottle 1 Euro, small .50). Restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops nearby. Quick and easy walk from airport bus stop.

This little hotel is a perfect gem. This was my second stay with them. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything one needs (great shower, great bed, good wifi, a little fridge and some with spacious balconies)and a friendly helpful staff, as well. The location is close to the ferry port and the beautiful Piraeus marina, restaurants, shopping, etc. It only has 20 rooms and you could easily fail to notice it as you walk by. The lobby is simple and understated and gives no clue to what a perfect little refuge is contained within. I just love it!

We chose Hotel Achillion on our way back to Athens - a night before our flight back home. It was walking distance from the port. Our room was clean and quiet. Ac was good. Bathroom and beds were comfortable. the hotel had an elevator. Front desk was helpful at booking a transfer to the airport. There were restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

Nice hotel located near the harbour and the leafy pedestrian street leading to the marina and beach. My single room was clean and cosy. Very nice staff who let me leave my luggage in the lobby when I arrived in the morning and when I left in the evening. Everything I needed for a few days between ferry and flight.

We only stayed one night at the Hotel Achillion since we had to catch a ferry the next day. The hotel is older, but cozy and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure and temperature were perfect. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and had a great recommendation for breakfast. It's also in a great location in Piraeus, close to shops and great restaurants. We would definitely stayvthere

Hotel room was clean and comfortably. We were three nights and they clean every day. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel area was quiet and easy to find. Good bakery near. Metrostation was near too. It was easy to move everyplace.

Das Personal an der Rezeption ist superfreundlich. Das Bad ist für griechische Verhältnisse groß und die Dusche geräumig. Das Bett ist bequem. Die Straße ist zwar laut, aber immerhin ist kein Nachtclub gegenüber, so dass es im Laufe der Nacht ruhiger wird.

Smooth check in which is 24/7 managed. Very spacious room which was very clean. Clean bed sheets. Only mattress was too soft for us. No idea why this property is 1 star, it should be easily 3 star. Location is walkable from the metro station which has direct metro to airport which takes about 1 hour. Very convenient from connectivity perspective. The road next to it is walk only road with full of eateries and shops and connects directly to marina. Port terminal is also very easy walk. Highly highly recommended.

I had the intent of booking this hotel just for one night in between my evening flight and my ferry out of the port the next morning. The hotel's policy stated that for a late check-in, you must call in advance and notify the hotel before booking, which I did. Once I had the confirmation for a late check-in time I booked my stay. Upon arrival, I was told that they do not accommodate late check-ins, even though it states they do on their policies. I asked if we could check into our room anyway and was told no. It being late at night and having nowhere else to go, I had to spend the night on the streets of Athens. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of clarity and overall lack of care I experienced with this hotel. As a young woman traveling having to spend the night on the streets of an unfamiliar city was extremely nerve-wracking. I feel as though I was taken advantage of and quite frankly scammed. Why advertise late check-in, just to go back on your word?

Very simple and pleasant. Very friendly staff. Great place to stay for early morning ferry departures. For example, the walk to the ferry pier for most of the Cyclades was only about 10-15 minutes from the hotel.

Alexandrous, Thanasus & Demetrius are very nice and helpful. The place is safe, walking distance to public transportation, groceries, shopping and restaurants. It is also closer to the Port. I had an error booking my accommodation and the Management go over and beyond to give me an extra day. I highly recommend this hotel and the price is reasonable and worth it.

Hotel room was clean and comfortably. We were three nights and they clean every day. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel area was quiet and easy to find. Good bakery near. Metrostation was near too. It was easy to move everyplace.

Highly recommend for stay especially if you are taking a cruise, but also good for getting downtown due to location to metro. The best part of this hotel is the manager or host. SO helpful and attentive. Helped with advice and map with day touring of old Athens. Helped with finding and recommending places to eat or drink. Helped with securing a reasonable and safe taxi to pier on day of cruise. Very well located to access pretty much anything you want. room was quiet and clean and roomy. Held our luggage for us both with an early arrival and with an afternoon departure. Desk was manned 24/7. Staff was exceptional!

Very simple and pleasant. Very friendly staff. Great place to stay for early morning ferry departures. For example, the walk to the ferry pier for most of the Cyclades was only about 10-15 minutes from the hotel.

Smooth check in which is 24/7 managed. Very spacious room which was very clean. Clean bed sheets. Only mattress was too soft for us. No idea why this property is 1 star, it should be easily 3 star. Location is walkable from the metro station which has direct metro to airport which takes about 1 hour. Very convenient from connectivity perspective. The road next to it is walk only road with full of eateries and shops and connects directly to marina. Port terminal is also very easy walk. Highly highly recommended.

We only stayed one night at the Hotel Achillion since we had to catch a ferry the next day. The hotel is older, but cozy and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower pressure and temperature were perfect. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and had a great recommendation for breakfast. It's also in a great location in Piraeus, close to shops and great restaurants. We would definitely stayvthere

We chose Hotel Achillion on our way back to Athens - a night before our flight back home. It was walking distance from the port. Our room was clean and quiet. Ac was good. Bathroom and beds were comfortable. the hotel had an elevator. Front desk was helpful at booking a transfer to the airport. There were restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

It was really relaxing stay. I appreciate there are many dining options around this hotel. A night receptionist suggested me that there is a 24 hours open bakery and it helped me a lot, when I arrived there mid night.

Hotellet låg bra. Nära till restauranger och bara några minuter från hamnen. Allt var rent och fräscht. Det var lite hårda kuddar, men helt ok. Personalen var hjälpsam och visade på kartan hur och var vi kunde gå. Vatten fanns att köpa på hotellet men ingen mat. Perfekt ställe för en övernattning innan avgång från hamnen.

Clean, comfortable bed, and shower pressure and temperature were great. Perfect location for the ferry to the islands, and good places to eat breakfast and dinner nearby. Metro station is within walking distance for and inexpensive option to get to Athens and the airport. Have stayed there twice now, and would stay again!

The People at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The room was a good size and had a queen bed and one twin bed. It didn't have some plates or cups which could have made our stay more useful. The area was close and convient for those who need to travel by boats and have nice cafes and restaurants.

Good, clean single room on top floor with huge balcony. Excellent value. Great AC, mini fridge & TV (1 English channel, BBC, and some music channels). Several steps to the small elevator. Bottles of water sold in lobby (large bottle 1 Euro, small .50). Restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops nearby. Quick and easy walk from airport bus stop.

Used this hotel as transit to the islands. Very nice staff, easy to communicate with. Don't expect luxury, but it was fine. I had a small room, but it was functional and left me a nice impression. There is some wear and stuff to react to, but nothing to stop me book again. Location is very good for Seajets or E7, or the shuttle bus to the more remote ports.

Short distance to walk down to the Port/catch the Metro to/from Athens/Airport. Found a nice bar to sit down with a cold beer at the Port. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Very convenient for the ferry to islands the next morning, after our overnight stay. Ilea’s on Reception was very helpful.
