I did not like that as a guest, i have to go to the laundry room in the basement to iron my clothes. Nor did i like that there was no utensils, cups or plates in the room and i had to go to the reception to collect a basket of pots, pans, dishes ect and carry up to my room. This is not what i paid for. Its ridiculous.

Rooms v decent and clean. Once you get your head around sharing diff parts of hotel with students it’s good.. even if feel old. Down side was the bar wasn’t open as they had an art exhibition the night we arrived. Parking on the other side of the road (domino’s) had v diff parking restrictions so free from fri eve till Monday!

Spacious room and very well located next to a tram stop and some places to eat opposite too. The social hub, had plenty of social areas such as a nice bar and games space. The lift was slow and lights flickering and the room itself was great condition however some attention to carpet stains and curtain stains and some minor repairs to the corner of the wall. Otherwise the room was a delight, great condition bathroom looked recently refurbished. The bed was huge. Quiet and well equipped with coffee machine, fridge, microwave, cooker, safe and a desk with plenty of shelving. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout. Just 3 stops on tram from Rotterdam Blaak which was able to take us into Amsterdam Zuid to continue our trip but also goes to the airport. The team also went to Rotterdam central where a train to Amsterdam Central can be caught. Lots to do in Rotterdam! We loved the zoo!

The room was far from as colorful and fun as the pictures online show: ambiance-wise it was a clean and cold room. This was a dissapointment, since I booked the room for the nice ambiance. Also, the room was smelly and not clean. Black mold on the shower head, lime scale and hairs that were not mine.

For the price, the room could have had two sockets near the bed. One of them appeared to be broken. The light switches for the main lighting was far from the bed. The design was a mess. The view was very nice. The breakfast was good, but I had to leave early on my final day because I had to catch a plane. And there was no provision for that possibility. Over the last 15 years, the price for this place has been inflated. Yet, the hotel keeps marketing itself as a kind of enlightened place. That is weird.

There was nothing bad about the hotel. Everything was very reachable via bycicle, the hotel staff was pretty nice and the lobby area was filled with workspace and fun activities that also allowed connecting with new people. We definitely recommend it for younger people. Only the walls seemed to be quite thin so we could hear some of the neighbors noise

Despite of my high age ;), I like the concept of the Social Hub very much, and I now plan to visit a few more destinations in other towns. The way to our hotel room was a bit of a maze, but we took it as a challenge. Room was really large and beds very comfy.

The Receptionist are very rude terrible I really wonder how suggest hotel employ very unprofessional unwelcoming and inexperienced receptionist especially a reception and a slim girls on Christmas morning duty they are terrible they should be relieved of their jobs they will keep bringing bad comment to the hotel and bringing the image down they are very very Rude and insultive

Es ist nicht zu akzeptieren, dass die Preise wenn ein Event ansteht verdreifacht werden. Der Check-in war inakzeptabel. Stundenlanges letztendlich erfolgloses Warten weil die Rezeption nicht in der Lage war den Kontakt zum Reinigungspetsonal herzustellen. Selbst als das Reinigungspersonal seine Aufgaben erledigt hatte war ein zeitlich vorgezogener check-in nicht möglich. Dieser musste dann wegen Konzertbesuch nach Mitternacht erfolgen. Kein Haartrockner im Zimmer. Frühstück zum Preis von Euro 14,50 völlig überbezahlt. Extrem hohe Citytax Euro 11,90 !

Our checkin was pleasant and efficient. Shortly after arriving in our room my partner noticed some bug bites she had acquired in the room. We notified the front desk. They asked for photos as ‘proof’. We provided these. We were asked for clearer photos which we provided. We were told there would be a follow up and ‘investigation’ and we are still waiting four days later. In the event, we were moved to a new room but beyond this we received no apology or anything of further substance as compensation. Oh well, I guess the customer isn’t always right!

Am Samstag, den 26. Juli 2025, Ich war beim Empfang.,um in mein Zimmer einzuchecken. das mir zugewiesene Zimmer lag im sechsten Stock, Seite C Ich war total verloren, da das Hotel sehr groß ist und ich mich persönlich nicht zurechtfinden konnte. Die Mitarbeiterin war so hilfsbereit und dass sie mich vollkommen verstand hat und mir ein anderes, passenderes Zimmer gab, Ihre Reaktion hat mich sehr gefreut und sie ging mit mir, um mir zu zeigen, wohin ich gehen musste. Juli 2025, Ich war beim Empfang.,um in mein Zimmer einzuchecken. das mir zugewiesene Zimmer lag im sechsten Stock, Seite C Ich war total verloren, da das Hotel sehr groß ist und ich mich persönlich nicht zurechtfinden konnte. Die Mitarbeiterin war so hilfsbereit und dass sie mich vollkommen verstand hat und mir ein anderes, passenderes Zimmer gab, Ihre Reaktion hat mich sehr gefreut und sie ging mit mir, um mir zu zeigen, wohin ich gehen musste. The place is near the tram. The room is huge and there’s kitchen with microwave and water boiler and even a coffee maker. Will stay again next time in different cities. We tried the one in Amsterdam too and it was equally great!

Prima kamers, voor een heel redelijke prijs. Bij de receptie zijn ze vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dat er fietsen gehuurd kunnen worden is erg handig. Met 20 minuten ben je op de fiets bij Ahoy, als je naar een concert gaat. 10 minuten fietsen naar Hotel New York & Fenix Food Factory, voor een hapje & drankje. En binnen 10 minuten lopen ben je bij de kubuswoningen en Markthal. Prima locatie dus!

Spacious room and very well located next to a tram stop and some places to eat opposite too. The social hub, had plenty of social areas such as a nice bar and games space. The lift was slow and lights flickering and the room itself was great condition however some attention to carpet stains and curtain stains and some minor repairs to the corner of the wall. Otherwise the room was a delight, great condition bathroom looked recently refurbished. The bed was huge. Quiet and well equipped with coffee machine, fridge, microwave, cooker, safe and a desk with plenty of shelving. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout. Just 3 stops on tram from Rotterdam Blaak which was able to take us into Amsterdam Zuid to continue our trip but also goes to the airport. The team also went to Rotterdam central where a train to Amsterdam Central can be caught. Lots to do in Rotterdam! We loved the zoo!

Es ist nicht zu akzeptieren, dass die Preise wenn ein Event ansteht verdreifacht werden. Der Check-in war inakzeptabel. Stundenlanges letztendlich erfolgloses Warten weil die Rezeption nicht in der Lage war den Kontakt zum Reinigungspetsonal herzustellen. Selbst als das Reinigungspersonal seine Aufgaben erledigt hatte war ein zeitlich vorgezogener check-in nicht möglich. Dieser musste dann wegen Konzertbesuch nach Mitternacht erfolgen. Kein Haartrockner im Zimmer. Frühstück zum Preis von Euro 14,50 völlig überbezahlt. Extrem hohe Citytax Euro 11,90 !

Rooms v decent and clean. Once you get your head around sharing diff parts of hotel with students it’s good.. even if feel old. Down side was the bar wasn’t open as they had an art exhibition the night we arrived. Parking on the other side of the road (domino’s) had v diff parking restrictions so free from fri eve till Monday!

Dit is een bijzondere plek. Hotel, werkruimte, ontmoetingsplek. Als 60/65-plussers waren wij vast niet het gebruikelijke publiek en onze (bad)kamer leek wel de badkamer in een verzorgingstehuis, compleet met steunen bij de wc, een stoel bij de douche en alarm. Maar het allerleukste vond ik de vriendelijke dame bij de ontbijtbar, die mij tegemoet kwam in mijn wens om alleen een eitje te eten. Zonder aarzelen bracht ze mij twee gekookte eitjes en vergat niet om ook peper en zout op tafel te zetten. Dat is service!

Do not stay here! None of the units have air conditioning. Instead, they use a climate control system that takes several hours to reach the desired temperature. Even after running for hours, it never cools below 24°C (75°F), which makes it completely inadequate during hot weather. We experienced temperatures of 35°C (95°F) in Rotterdam, and the room was unbearably warm. To make matters worse, on our very first day, our entire building was left without water for 24 hours. We couldn't flush the toilet, take a shower, or even use the sinks. I've never experienced anything like that before. The elevator in our building also stopped working on the second day of our stay and was still out of service when we checked out. The room description stated that the curtains were blackout curtains, but they definitely were not. The sunlight came straight into the room early in the morning, waking us up around 6:00 AM every day. We specifically booked a room with a queen-size bed, but the hotel only provides standard double-bed blankets. The blanket was smaller than the bed, meaning one person was always left uncovered. When we asked the staff for a queen-size blanket, assuming it had been a mistake, we were told that they simply do not have blankets that fit the beds and that all of them are the same size. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. There are far too many issues, and the overall experience fell well below expectations.
