Hotel is under construction and the registration office is a room window. The workers start making noise working at seven. Our room was nice but the bathroom floor was old and dirty. The soap dispenser fell off the wall in the middle of the night. Also the towel rack is in the shower. Lol

The exterior was undergoing renovations, so it wasn’t the most attractive place on the outside, but my room was all brand new, well decorated and perfect! Very quiet and safe, and the room had everything I needed. Definitely would stay again!

The property has just been rehabbed. Finishing touches to clean up from painters and to a detailed review of paint spots on the floors etc need attention. Lack of toilet tissue and soap in the dispensers need attention. The parking area needs similar attention with paint and general attention to the garden area and parking lots needs to be cleaned up from the recent painting. Once all this is done it’s a great property

Love this place! Quick check-in process, the front desk lady is lovely. Housekeeping is friendly, very clean. Would like pool access, that would've made my stay a lot better since it's been very hot.

We booked specifically for the pool and jazucci. Closed!! When ever the adjacent turned the shower or water on it echoes throughput our room extremely loud. That being said the room it self was great. Remolded and very clean. Very convenient to everything

The property was under construction. They only gave one pillow and when we asked for more, they gave some with no pillowcases. The pillows were bad. When we tried to check in or out, the workers were not easy to find. The noise from construction started at 7 am. I would never stay here again.

The hotel was very nice and clean inside the rooms. The beds were very comfortable and Had nice bedding that kept us warm all night. Seemed to have been recently remodeled and looks very nice inside the rooms. Great stay and great staff. Always available and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Check in was easy. The room itself wasn't clean. There was a dirty hand print on the wall. And you only get 2 channels on your tv. The bathroom floor looked like it had not been cleaned. And there was no hand soap. For the price, I would not stay there again.

Newly remodeled, but they used the old HBAC system so make the room smell so bad I couldn’t stand it! Old cigarette smell is the worst! Staff very nice but you can’t fix that old smell!

We knew we were booking a cheap motel but had high hopes based on the overall rating. When we got to the hotel, the cleaning crew had dirty towels, trash, and cleaning supplies thrown all over the outside of our room. There were cases of empty beer bottles and other trash hanging around too. Our room had just been cleaned and the floors were still very wet, they use extremely strong chemicals to clean the room, so the smell is strong. After returning later that day, the cleaning smell wore off and it smelled like cigarettes. They offered to move us, but we stuck it out. No shampoo, soap, etc in the rooms. No bed bugs, but there was hair and other lint under the top sheet. Overall, doable for a night since we couldn’t cancel, but I would not stay here again.

Noisiest room yet. We knew when others were showering, the pipes were so noisy. We could hear people outside our room. The traffic noise was terrible. Also, the light outside our room was so bright and there were no shades/ curtains, only plantation shutters which let the light in between the slats. Otherwise, clean, roomy, and bed was comfortable.

Check in was quick and easy, the room was recently renovated and looked very nice and contemporary. The only complaint would be the metal platform that the mattress sits on would make random popping noises that woke us up a few times. Location is on Beach Blvd, but we heard no road noise at all. Less than 10 min drive to Huntington Pier. Make sure to try The Donutery one block to the north. Donuts are amazing!

The staff were very friendly and efficient and the bed was comfortable. It was noisy though. The hotel is on a busy road so I heard traffic and maybe the walls were thin because I flushing from the room next door and people talking.

The room has been renovated, but it’s missing too many essentials to feel comfortable. The bed linens didn’t fit properly, so we had to constantly readjust them to keep the mattress covered. The mattress itself was comfortable, but the bed frame sticks out about six inches, which caused us to bump into it repeatedly. Lighting was also an issue — there were only two bedside sconces and no lamps or ceiling lights, making the room too dim. The smoke detector was missing entirely, with only exposed wires in the ceiling, which was concerning. The extra security lock on the door wasn’t functional and actually came off the wall when we tried to use it. In the bathroom, there were no shelves or ledges in the shower, so we had to place our toiletries on the floor. Overall, the room has potential, but these issues made the stay uncomfortable and, in some cases, unsafe

Newly renovated but my room was near the stairwell. The flourescent light shined so bright thr shutter did not block out the light. They need to install curtains. Otherwise it was a great value and the owners are awesome.

I spent two nights here . I was traveling alone as a woman and felt unsafe at this property. Other guests seemed strange. You can hear through the walls and I could hear inappropriate things that I did not want to hear. The room was fairly clean however there was no soap or shampoo/conditioner. All three were completely empty. I would not recommend staying here

Well the “air conditioner” was extremely loud and seemed to only have two settings, freezing cold and cold. The room smelled like cleaning products our entire stay. You could not connect streaming platforms on the “smart tv” the manager/owner said he could not help with that. Also note, this location is nowhere near the beach

It’s not luxury, but it was comfortable, and the bed was fine. Shower worked well and water was hot. There isn’t a view, or much landscaping. But it’s well located and the price was very reasonable for the area.

Clean, very nice staff - easy to check in - everything is excellent. From the outside, it may not look like a great place because they are working on improving it, but once inside, it is clean and very, very, very nice. Also, pricing for the location is fantastic! I highly recommend this place. When I have company, everyone stays here. EXCELLENT!

The woman at the front office was unreasonable. She wanted me to sign two different papers and give me only copy of one of the papers. When told her that California State law said thar the consumers have right to get copies of all documents we sign, she became angry and belligerent.

I unexpectedly needed to find a room for the night. I asked the front desk if I could see the room I would be staying in and she gladly walked me there to show me. All of the staff was great. Truly one of my best experiences at a Hotel. The staff was a husband and wife duo who went out of their way to accomadate me when I arrived at 3am and was desperate after a long drive from Nor. Cal. Refreshing to be treated with such outstanding customer service. This Hotel went above and beyond my expectations. I would strongly encourage anyone in need of a room in the Huntington Bch area. This was a newer room but a fairly seedy location. Nicely remodeled but neglected to clean the window or even remove the sticker from when it was I installed…not that that matters, bed was comfortable and it served its purpose for that reason. Just not a nice area, however the price was right.
