Amazing place to stay! Great location, friendly locals! The rooftop is amazing to relax and see all the great sights! The hotel has fresh, clean towels and beach toys, etc. Grill available, too! Our ocean view room had big windows, easy to look out and hear the local vibe!

We loved being right on the boardwalk and the $20 a night parking was a short walk away. The staff were incredibly nice and the roof top deck was fabulous for watching the sunset. My only complaint would be that for being advertised as having a kitchenette, it is sparsely equipped. With only 2 small burners, no cutting board etc, it works in a pinch for sure and the full fridge was great. Not a real complaint but if you are looking to really cook you will need to get inventive and have your own tings like oil and sugar etc. Not a big deal.

The location and rooftop is a 10/10 but that’s basically the only positive thing about it. Walls are definitely not sound proof, we could hear the people around us all the time, bed and floors were so squeaky and uncomfortable. I chose the option of “partial ocean view” which I didn’t get. We only stayed for 2 days but sadly I wouldn’t book this again.

The parking offered for an additional fee is many blocks away in an unsafe zone. The parking we ended up paying for is right next to Venice suites but it was very expensive to park overnight. We kept having to go all the way around the building to enter because the hotel card keys kept getting demagnetized (while being in pockets with nothing else in them). Only one of our keys ever worked for the room door. I also wasn’t informed until after I had already booked that there was no air conditioning available. Thankfully it wasn’t that hot while we were in Venice, so the ceiling fan sufficed. However, I can see it being a problem if you end up staying there during a heat wave.

You can tell the building is very old, the elevator was like a relic! The location is great, right on the beach and so many restaurants right on the boardwalk. It does get a bit noisy but I expected that with it being on the boardwalk. Rooms are nice and clean, I didn’t use the kitchen but it has all the basic equipment. There is no AC, which I thought was going to be a deal breaker for me but honestly, you keep the windows open and the nighttime is fine. They had a tower fan in the closet so that helped a lot too! If you have your own vehicle, parking can be a pain. The lot nearby charges $60 on weekends. The hotel has parking that they charge for $20-something but it’s a 7 min walk. We had a bunch of gear on us and our dog and I didn’t walk to haul all of that so I paid for the pricey parking next door. I’d stay here again.

Fantastic location and great accommodation. Big bedroom with a nice kitchen and leaving room space. Ocean front, with a parking lot next to the Hotel and a back entrance that definitely helps to download luggage. Recommend!

I liked the accessibility to the beach, restaurants and boardwalks. The rooftop view was great! The staff was very friendly! They were prompt to get maintenance when I asked why we didn’t have heat in the room for the first 2 nights and I had 3 cold showers and decided to go to the office about it. The boiler system needs work, for sure. The bathroom sink was slow to drain and there were no towel bars. The elevator was cool! Loved it! I would have loved closer parking, but we managed it. The suite was lovely and the bed was super comfortable.

The most disgusting sofa I’ve ever had for a hotel! We had to spray room spray for it not to smell so bad (dirty laundry and feet + mold?!). Eventually we found out it was the couch that smelled, which definitely killed the mood. It was very smelly. You pay for an ocean view room and expect at least two chairs, not one. And at least a decent looking couch. You could see the couch had stains and hadn’t been washed for years.. For the price, I don’t think it’s worth it. This was also my first time. Also be prepared to pay valet 1/5 of what you pay for a one night stay here too. Very disappointed

Suite was very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Downside was despite advertising as disabled friendly there is no entrance/ exit without stairs and no external elevator. Location- fab, right on the beach. Go right to head to santa monica and left to further explore venice beach and marina del ray. Facilities- bed was comfortable, kitchen had everythinv you need and living area was also fine. Building- paint work ongoing when we stayed to freshen it up. Overall - great pkace to stay

I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in an ocean front view room. Pros: -location -views -cleanliness -has netflix (living room area only) -basic kitchen tools for cooking/eating. -rooftop patio (very nice to hang out, watch the sunset and do bbq). Cons: -no A/C, so summer time you might not enjoy it. Although it has a ceiling fan in the bedroom, mine was a little noisy. -not soundproof, you can hear footsteps from the suite above and the noise outside the building. -if you like hot showers like i do, sorry to dissappoint. Overall: -i did enjoy my stay. Very satisfied with the place and suite i booked. I'm definitely coming back. The cons I wrote, didn't really bother me as much since i'm a night owl. That was why I'm still giving them a 5 star! 😁 Was also able to check-in early (room was ready) since my flight was in the morning.

No AC No parking Said it was told no AC on the amenities I never realize it if so I would of never booked What hotel don’t have AC Paid with my hotel.com and they went and pulled another 260.00 out of my acc Con all the way! Never would I ver go back Guy looks like he is on drugs Abby the manager was so rude hung up on me! So please make sure you see no AC there!

I love Venice Suites. I consider it my Private Honeycomb Hideout. Staff is great. On this particular stay, my toilet backed up in the middle of the night. The next morning at 7:30, I told the man at the front desk. He said the plumber would not be available until 8:30. That was a problem for me. After driving 7 miles home to use the bathroom, the plumber still hadn’t showed up. The man at the front desk did other another room to go use the bathroom.

Such a great location and wonderful staff. The building is a little older so if that bothers you dont stay there. Other than that I would love to return next time I am in Venice beach for sure the boardwalk is 10 feet away from the Hotel.

You can tell the building is very old, the elevator was like a relic! The location is great, right on the beach and so many restaurants right on the boardwalk. It does get a bit noisy but I expected that with it being on the boardwalk. Rooms are nice and clean, I didn’t use the kitchen but it has all the basic equipment. There is no AC, which I thought was going to be a deal breaker for me but honestly, you keep the windows open and the nighttime is fine. They had a tower fan in the closet so that helped a lot too! If you have your own vehicle, parking can be a pain. The lot nearby charges $60 on weekends. The hotel has parking that they charge for $20-something but it’s a 7 min walk. We had a bunch of gear on us and our dog and I didn’t walk to haul all of that so I paid for the pricey parking next door. I’d stay here again.

We loved being right on the boardwalk and the $20 a night parking was a short walk away. The staff were incredibly nice and the roof top deck was fabulous for watching the sunset. My only complaint would be that for being advertised as having a kitchenette, it is sparsely equipped. With only 2 small burners, no cutting board etc, it works in a pinch for sure and the full fridge was great. Not a real complaint but if you are looking to really cook you will need to get inventive and have your own tings like oil and sugar etc. Not a big deal.

The building is dated, but clean. It’s a great location for walking and bike riding with lots of good restaurants nearby. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay here again. It was worth the value of the room.

The property was unique and the kitchen in the room was a nice convenience. Although, the grocery store is about a mile away to stock up on food. The beachfront property had a great views. You have to trek awhile across the sand to get to the ocean. They have a homeless population around the area but we didn’t feel unsafe. Be aware after dark. Going out to eat is expensive around the area. The hotel didn’t offer many accommodation for water activities. FYI, bring a good pair of walking shoes and sunscreen.

We loved having the board walk right outside and the beach within minutes. We walked every morning, enjoyed local restaurants within walking distance, the parking right beside the Venice suites was pricey but convenient :) they’d have our car ready if we let them know ahead of time. The spot is reachable by Instacart and door dash. The inside was small but very clean, were able open windows to let cool air in as unit doesn’t have ac. The only complaint like any place down in Venice is sometimes noise from people, traffic or like any rental an upstairs person with heavy feet at night, but it wasn’t unbearable. Plenty of artists and shops we could see from this spot:) though there are many homeless in the area we still felt safe, they mean no harm and if anything are looking for food, we left some for a nice young man as we were checking out, he was very grateful. It was our groceries that we had left over. Would definitely stay again in the future.
