Hotel has its own parking which is very convenient. Close to city center. Also rooms are extremely spacious. Double if not triple the size of a normal European hotel. Great communication from the staff.

Absolutely perfect for being close enough to walk yet there were a number of reserved parking spots for us out front. The woman who worked during the day was THE nicest person. Loved everything about our stay and there was even a bakery just a few steps from the hotel for pastries and coffee. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Parking: there are a couple of parking spots right at the front of the property. Location: quite convenient as it is a 8 min walk to the port. Mcd's and fried chicken nearby. Condition/Cleanliness: excellent, very clean and new Hospitality: excellent, there was a welcome drink, free local snack in the fridge, water bottles. The staff was super nice and friendly, very helpful.

It’s a bit of a walk up to the old town, where most of the restaurants and bars are located. But we chose it because it is close to the ferry port, which was very convenient for catching an early-morning ferry. The hotel itself is very new and modern, and extremely clean!

This hotel is perfectly located close to the ferry port, and airport bus stop a couple of steps away. The Heraklion Archeological museum is a 8 minute walk and Knosos palace a 15 minute drive. We had the Ariadne suite and it was spacious and clean. The service is top notch, Mary is so polite, professional and eager to help, she gave us plenty of advice on how to get around and some restaurant recommendations, but we ended up going to McDonald’s that is just around the corner ( 3 min walk) or the supermarket ( 3 min walk).

The customer service at the front desk was exceptional! He helped us navigate the busses and store our luggage after check out. The room itself was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We were able to do self check which was perfect because our flight did not land until almost 1am. The location was incredibly convenient - right across the street from the KTEL bus station to other cities and the bus to Knossos. My only very minor complaint was that there were LED lights around the artwork that we could not figure out how to turn off so it was not completely dark at night but everything else was perfect.

This was an excellent spot to stay to catch an early morning ferry to Santorini. A bit busy and loud on the street but you don’t hear any of it inside your room even though our room was right in front facing the street. Check in and check out were a breeze and the hotel manager (Mary) went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well, with dining and transportation recommendations. Inside the unit has a very nice modern decor and was very very clean and functional. Plenty of customizable lighting. Our “partial oceanview” was laughable because what we had was a distant sighting of the water between a bunch of buildings. No biggie for us because we got all the oceanview we wanted in Chania which was so beautiful all around. I’d recommend Lavris and would stay here again for sure!

From a warm greeting, to a personalized orientation of our room, to providing guidance with restaurants and sights, Mary C was amazing! Great communication prior to trip as well. Location was perfect for us - we took KTEL bus from Chania to Heraklion; hotel was ~3 mins walk from bus station and about 10 mins down-hill walk to SeaJets fast ferry terminal. So perfect location. Incidentally, the SeaJets ferry from Heraklion was not very fast at all - took 2 hours to reach Santorini instead of the advertised 90 minutes - despite on-time departure and calm sea.

We found the Lavris Suites exceeded our expectations. The quality of the rooms and the amenities were as good as any 4 star hotel we have stayed in. The GM Dimitris and his assistant Mary were super helpful. Check in process was very easy. Very convenient to the bus station and downtown.

The communications prior to visit were excellent. Upon arrival, the reception was welcoming, friendly and informative. The room was clean and they setup dinner reservations for us. Highly recommend this hotel!

We only stayed for one night, but LAVRIS was the perfect accommodation with even better service. Everything was set up when we arrived, and we ended up arriving later than expected during the night and had crystal clear instructions on how to get in. Even better was that I requested some wine and glasses be there waiting for our arrival, and they were gracefully provided as complimentary with the room. Also, when we missed our connecting flight, I frantically messaged my contact at the hotel and she helped me immensely by answering all of my questions and contacting the rental car company for me to let them know we would be arriving after they closed so that they would wait there for our plane to land. All around terrific experience.

We were only here one night, but this hotel was great! From our room, we had a view of the street below and the sea in the distance. Our hotel wasn't necessarily *close* to all the food/shopping or the fort, but it was within a reasonable walk that felt safe to us. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing any information we needed and helping us set up a taxi the next morning. The hotel is across the street from the bus station, making it perfect if you're traveling to/from Chania and don't want to arrange a taxi upon arrival!

The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality!

This hotel is perfectly located close to the ferry port, and airport bus stop a couple of steps away. The Heraklion Archeological museum is a 8 minute walk and Knosos palace a 15 minute drive. We had the Ariadne suite and it was spacious and clean. The service is top notch, Mary is so polite, professional and eager to help, she gave us plenty of advice on how to get around and some restaurant recommendations, but we ended up going to McDonald’s that is just around the corner ( 3 min walk) or the supermarket ( 3 min walk).

Dimitri and Mary made our stay exemplary, their attention to detail and expert suggestions on dining and getting around the island were incredibly helpful. Each day Mary checked in about breakfast and customized our breakfast based on our needs. I can’t recommend Lavris enough! We will be coming back for sure!

The communications prior to visit were excellent. Upon arrival, the reception was welcoming, friendly and informative. The room was clean and they setup dinner reservations for us. Highly recommend this hotel!

A very coveniently located hotel within walking distance to the port. Close also to the archeological museum - the main attraction in the city as far as I am concerned. The hospitality is exceptional, the wine and the marmelade was awesome! The hosts are very very nice. Definitely stay here particularly if you travel by boat.

We only stayed for one night, but LAVRIS was the perfect accommodation with even better service. Everything was set up when we arrived, and we ended up arriving later than expected during the night and had crystal clear instructions on how to get in. Even better was that I requested some wine and glasses be there waiting for our arrival, and they were gracefully provided as complimentary with the room. Also, when we missed our connecting flight, I frantically messaged my contact at the hotel and she helped me immensely by answering all of my questions and contacting the rental car company for me to let them know we would be arriving after they closed so that they would wait there for our plane to land. All around terrific experience.

Parking: there are a couple of parking spots right at the front of the property. Location: quite convenient as it is a 8 min walk to the port. Mcd's and fried chicken nearby. Condition/Cleanliness: excellent, very clean and new Hospitality: excellent, there was a welcome drink, free local snack in the fridge, water bottles. The staff was super nice and friendly, very helpful.

Mary was a delight at the front desk. Check in was smooth, room was great and what we needed. Location right across from the bus station which was so convenient. About a 10 Minute walk to city center.
