We had stay one night on our way to catch flight to Poland. The frond desk arranged the Taxi to pick us up the night before. Since our flight is around 11:00am, we should be pickup by 9:00am the latest. However, by 9:15, still no car, and we were informed there is no car this morning to pick us that morning. They are very sorry about that. It leave us in the tough situation, only less than 2 hours left, we had to find Uber or anything to get us to the airport.

Budget hotel, really like that they had streaming on their television. No kettle in the room, but they let you used the hot water dispenser and microwave downstairs. It's a very old hotel, but great for solo travelers. About 15 minutes walk to the Mestre station to get into Venice, unless you get lucky and catch the tram. I got in at 10am, they store my luggage while I went and explored Venice. There's a grocery store across the street to the left and a very nice plaza to the right, with a 4 story mall. Also saw two laundromat down the street.

The room was clean but small. It is situated next to a plaza which was fun to hang out at night and people watching. We also did some shopping here as well. It was cheaper to stay here than staying in Venice since we arrive late. There is a 7E bus that took us to Venice after 30 minutes ride just down the street from the hotel.
